    Hello

It depends on if your computer or hardware manufacturer has Windows 8 drivers available in your computer model and the 3rd party hardware.

Do the following before upgrade you to Windows 8/8.1.

Check if the manufacturer of your computer/laptop has Windows 8/8.1 drivers available for your model.

If this is not available, Windows 8/8.1 not install and work properly for you.

  • upgrade to VISTA (x 32) Home Premium from Windows 7 Home Premium (x 32).

I want to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium (x 32). I have a HP Pavilion a6450z, which has a SLIC 2.0 BIOS made by Phoenix Technologies. I'm running VISTA (x 32) Home Premium now, that came on the computer when I bought it in May 2008. From what I read, that I need to update my BIOS so it will have SLIC 2.1 otherwise I won't be able to activate it. Is it true or when I install Windows 7 will automatically upgrade my BIOS?

    Thanks Hank

    HankT,

If you ask a question with statements not reported, make you it harder. Do you have a link for your references about a need to upgrade the BIOS. On the Web THAT NL page listed, there is no update of the BIOS.

  • Disks for Vista Edition OS Home Premium x 64

    Hello

I have two HP computers, a dx7500 and a Pavilion a6512p. The dx7500 came with Vista (Business 32-bit) OS disks, but the a6512p did not come with a set of disks of BONE. Is it possible to buy, HP, a set of operating system from Vista x 64 Home Premium DVD?

Please note that I am not looking to "restore" disks, or "recovery" disks - I would like to get (if that is possible) a set of actual operating system installation DVD for my a6512p, just as I have for the dx7500.

Thanks much for any help you could give.

    Hello:

You can do your own Vista disc and use the product key to activate the installation.

If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

If you can read your 25-character product key MS, you can make your own Windows Vista installation disc. You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then other codes already filled in.

When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

I selected no, make the ISO file.

It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

I tested both of them one my hp dc7100 CMT desktop PC, worked flawlessly.

When you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/software-OS/w/microsoft_os/3317.2-3-Microsoft-Windows-v...

After you install Vista successfully, you can then install the drivers for your PC and driver page support.

  • Vista 32 bit Home Premium upgrade to Windows 7

I have been using Windows Vista, 32-bit, Home Premium with success.  Recently, it has been suggested to me that I had to upgrade to Windows 7.  I want to keep, at least, I currently have the same capabilities.  I have a few questions.

    1. because I don't want to back up or modify files or programs, is it wise to upgrade to Windows 7, 32 bit, Home Premium?

    2. in the case, which version do you recommend?

    3. should I download it from Microsoft or do I have to download it also?

    4. If not should I buy in a store?  Could you recommend one?

5 is it complicated to install?  Do you know a good site that could help me to install it?

    6. Finally you would give a price range that I have to pay?

I know this has been long, but it seems to be a complex issue.

Thank you very much for your time and your support.

  • Windows Vista Edition upgrade Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 8 or 8.1?

I don't know where I could download Windows 7 Home Premium on my USB stick to NTFS,

Exactly, I'm looking for a .iso or the download of Windows 7 Home Edition Premium or 8 - 8.1 upgrade of Windows Vista Edition Windows Home Premium.

I'm also curious if I can or will be able to use the two product keys I have, which are:

    * The sticker on my computer that contains a product key.

    * The one who accompanies the computer located in START, made a click right COMPUTER, properties.

I'm on Windows Vista, I would update to Windows 7 Home Premium at least.

    USB Boot

With my two key product or not at all if possible key.

Advice, useful information, download links, solutions?

Please share and thank you in advance!

Is it possible that I'll be able to use the product from the installation disc key twice on a different computer if I install it on Windows 7 Home Premium?

    Edit:

To be more precise, could I use the same disc installation and key on both computers at the same time?

No, a key = a single computer. Each PC must have its own unique and valid product key to stay activated.

I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1545 using a Vista Home Premium x 64 OS and I want to upgrade the operating system Vista Business but what I understand that MS can't stand Vista does that mean I can't do this? Is there another place I can buy a 3rd type company. third-party software for my portable computer? I read an answer in the system here that said I can improve, but the question and the answer was written in ' 09 and I don't think that's relevant today. Thanks for any help.

    Hello

you have never been able to do this upgrade

You can't put Vista Home Premium to Vista Business; This is NOT an upgrade path

Home Premium to Business must be done with a clean installation using a patented FULL vista

You can upgrade Home Premium to Ultimate

    Ultimate includes the enterprise features

to buy it test a computer repair shop and ask them to left over copies

purchase online can be fraught with dangers of piracy

  • Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium operating systems disks

I bought my laptop with Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium installed on it.  I've since upgraded to Windows 7.  Unfortunately, there are a few programs that will not work under Windows 7 little matter what I do.

So, I would try to run a virtual Windows Vista system.  The problem is that I can't find my disk with the operating system of Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium on it.

Download the Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium operating system so that I can burn a disc for a back-up or I can order a drive with the OS on it?

    Thank you!

You can not upgrade to Windows 7, and then use the Vista OS you used as part of the upgrade to install another (even virtual).

There is no Vista free download legal available.

And Microsoft provide no DVD for computers of the brand OEM (Dell, HP, etc).

Borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

  • The clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 without installation disc.

    Hello

I recently bought a Toshiba laptop with a Home Premium Windows 7 x 64 preload version.  It has not come with a Windows installation disc.  I want to reformat the hard drive and put on a clean version of the same operating system.   Right now my only solution is to find someone with a disk or an iso.  Which turns out to be harder than I thought.   Is it possible to make an image of Win 7 Win 7 without having to make a picture?

I also own a copy of Windows 7 pro x 64.  Can I use this disc to install, with the key of Win 7 Home Premium?

    Thank you

If you perform a "clean" of Windows 7 Home Premium installation, you will need to buy Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Someone else using Windows 7 disk is not allowed under the terms of the license Microsoft Softrware.
