  This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated! There are a few illustrative notes to an engineer from Adobe that you can read here: notes for Lightroom CC GPU (2015) in order to better understand what is happening. Currently, in most cases, I recommend leaving off the coast. I think that Adobe is trying to improve and have more cards supported, but it is not yet completely there.

  Thank you for your answers and sorry it took me so long to respond. My observation is that both feature snap windows and the separator of fox addon do nothing more than to create windows. Why then do I need tabs. The problem is that I did a bad job explaining what I'm looking for. In other browsers, you can either "tile" or "cascade" of all the tabs and can then resize, move, hide, etc. each display tab individually, or you can close it by closing the main window. For my immediate use, can I use the component feature snap, once again thank you for your answers.   The link will open in a window on the small side and the page got stays open and is about three-quarters of the window. So I view two pages at a time, when I want to see just the link.

  Right-click on the shortcut and select Properties. Uncheck the box to load this bookmark in the sidebar.

  I upgraded my iMac and Macbook Pro at El Capitan yesterday. I use an external hard drive on my iMac to store my photos and my catalog. My girlfriend did the same thing on the Macbook.

  The Macbook works very well for it, no problem. The iMac would not my photos so that in the library with Lightroom, only illustrated square gray tab with file names, but create fine displays in the tab.

  So I hooked up my external drive for the Macbook, and I got the same result. It must be specific to my files and not on the computer. Unfortunately I have no backup of the catalog. I thought that my external hard drive was back in a Time Machine, but it has been excluded.

  You can try to rebuild all samples catalog from scratch.  They very rarely get corrupted.

  Release of LR.  In your catalog file, it is a file ending with ".lrdata" - move to the trash. Restart the LR.  It will automatically rebuild your previews, that could take some time for large catalogs.  (Be very careful not to delete the file ".lrcat" - which is the appropriate catalog).

  I have a new computer at work with what must be a new version of firefox. I use several windows to do my job. When I open a new window, all the tabs in the current window open in a new. I'm wondering how to set up a new window to open a blank page or just my homepage?

  I restarted Firefox, and I changed the settings of the homepage one a different choice and return to the page you want and then restarted Firefox again. This eliminated all initial tabs opening to open in the new window. I don't know how all the pages have been cached or what I should have done, but I don't have that problem anymore.

  You can change the properties of the bookmark for this problem.

  If you right click and choose Properties, you will check a box to the bottom of the dialog box that opens the bookmark in the sidebar. Uncheck the box that and click Save.
