Bluescreen IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Windows has been crashing a lot lately, sometimes gives me the blue screen memory dump and reboot on its own.  Sometimes I have an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen which does nothing and I have to manually restart the computer. Usually occurs during the game, although sometimes its in the course of the exploration of the internet or any other activity.  My games have been crashing a lot lately also bypassing a blue screen.  IV tried to update the drivers for all my hardware, but nothing seems to help.

Also, when my computer is restarted it is not rare that it freezes while loading windows (screen with the green bar moving load).  Sometimes he did this several times until it finally completely initialize.  Any ideas?

    The driver who caused the accident was the Intel one, but if you have a discrete nvidia card you should use that one as I suspect, it has better record.  It is for the Intel driver igdkmd32.sys gpu.  You can go to download.intel.com and looking for this driver.  If you do not find it go to the website of it decision makers.

    Can be a difficult problem to solve, and you indeed need a technical help in a real store of the computer

    I get this error for the second time in two months on a Lenovo R61 laptop after installation of the latest version of Windows Update there is very little time.  Sometimes after a few minutes after the start-up of the machine without provication.  The first time was the same scenario, but seemed to go away after a week or so mysteriously.  I used the laptop for almost a year with no problems before installing updates.

    I have Vista pre-installed with the recent updates installed.

    I don't have a new hardware or drivers that could lead to conflict - it comes factory all installed on the laptop.

    I have 2 GB of RAM, but I have a NVIDIA chipset.

    I tried the defragmentation tools, system repair, etc. without change to the problem.  Any advice?

    System has been great from the GET go, there are more than 2 weeks. Never a failure to the no boot, no lock ups etc. Woke up in the middle of the night last week with cmptr attempt to restart. No new software or hardware installed had been. Nothing worked, quiet dampened.

    From there on, I was not able to start Windows.

    I entered the BIOS and tried to start a well known point... nothing. Always get blue screen. I have reset the CMOS on the mobo, removed the battery on the mobo and reinstalled. I unplugged the two hard drives power and SATA cables, bought a NEW (third) HD and installed, with only one new HD connected, with a full version of Windows Vista DVD in the CD/DVD drive, tried to boot Windows from scratch... still get the blue screen?

    I was able to run the memory test and it came back without errors. I was not able to get to "repair your computer", as the beginning is never far away. When the computer reboots, it comes to the sequence: normal mobo beeps (five) than even that when the system was working fine... then I get the graph of the mobo splash screen EVGA P55 SLI,... then black screen with "Windows loading files"... which appears just above the loading bar (it looks like gage fuel fill from left to right).

    Once the bar then "fills" Blue Screen of Death!

    It's EXTREMELY frustrating because it was built for me by an employee of INTEL (very smart read), all latest drivers etc. Very little software loaded on the system. Most of the aid that I read guess you can operate within Windows already... Catch 22! I can't!

    My Dell XPS 430 has recently begun to suffer from frequent blue screens, with at least three occurring in the past day or almost. Any help to identify the cause of these problems would be appreciated.

  • Windows Vista bluescreen malfunction of the equipment. Possibly from Nvidia.

    Hello, I was wondering if someone could help fix me my laptop computer malfunction. Two days while my son was playing world of Warcraft graphics becomes very blurry and grainy and the system shuts down completely, prompting a BSOD to appear. The blue screen said that Nvidia has been the cause of the problem, but even after an attempt to safe mode to remove Nvidia and reboot, the problem still persists then the first time worse. We have tried many things and nothing seems to return the computer to normal.

    The sound skips and repeats on connection, the graphics are of different colors and form rectangles, the internet connection is not found and on starting any program, it crashes immediately. If anyone can help I would appreciate it a lot. If more info is needed, let me know!

    Hi, I have a problem with a new PC (Vista Home Premium 64-bit), giving many bluescreens. There is no reason of their past, they are random. I have updated all drivers and unplugged everything that is not essential (remote control Receivers etc.).
    Using the program "that crashed" I've identified ntoskrnl.exe and dkgkrnl.sys as the most frequent culprits.

    I have run the System File Checker. It reports
    "The audit complete 62%.
    Resource protection Windows found corrupt files but was unable to remedy.
    Details included in... CBS.log.

    How to interpret the log? and solve this problem?
    I did stick the contents of the newspaper because there are a lot of lines!

    SFC bombed 62% if you have to drive or other hardware issues well OS and software
    could cause or be part of the issue. Run CheckDisk and then try to SFC. See Troubleshooting below
    and methods in the next message to use when you reach the part of the resolution of the generic driver update problems.
    Then you can return to the resolution of the problems after the driver updates if necessary.

    Hello! Recently I was making a few different blue screens. After a few different system restores, I only get 1 now. It's the irql_not_less_or_equal.

    For a few months now, I was not using my computer until within the last few days, because for a while, I need new RAM. And I thought I needed a new graphics card, because I had problems with my monitor (it became very pixelated/signs of him dying). Although, I don't have my installed latest graphics card.

    My computer will last between 5-15 minutes until I get this blue screen.

    I went from 2 GB of RAM DDR2 up to 8 GB DDR3 (2 of 4 GB each). Recently, I was not able to boot my computer. After hours of trying to figure out why, I watched my RAM and 1 of them had burnt/burned some how. I don't know when or why. POM I have removed that one and I kept the right thing and put it on the opposite side of where the other burned. Because I had removed the charred/burnt RAM, I am now able to boot my computer very well.

    I am currently using my old graphics (NVIDIA Geforce 8500 GT)
    My system specs are:

    Windows Vista Edition Home Premium
    Service Pack 2
    Processor: Intel (r) Pentium (r) D CPU 3.73 GHz
    (Vivid RAM) memory: 4.00 GB
    System type: 32-bit

    Windows Update is current. Each update it can find, I installed. My graphics card is up-to-date as well. I ran a memtest86 + on my 1 stick of 4 GB of RAM, and it found no problem. I also used Rkill, MalwareBytes, and MSE to see if it was virus/etc. related. No problem.

    I wrote down the info, when I saw a blue screen. This was also the last blue screen, I'm currently in Mode safe mode w / Networking:

    I'm not too familiar with the system logs/event viewer. So, I downloaded Blue Screen Viewer, (just in case). I'd appreciate any help!
