• Cross references not Visible in Control Panel

  Hi all

  I've been enjoying the feature Cross references in Indesign CS6 to use dynamic text that changes... until very recently.

  When I started to use, references of Cross (CR) would be listed in the Panel links/CR.

  I can create a destination, create a hyperlink to this destination, change it shows (I use the paragraph number) and it works as it should.

  The problem I have is that the CRs are not visible in the cross-reference panel (hyperlinks too by the way)

  This means that I can't change my cross references.

  Does anyone know why don't they show in the control panel? Or y at - it another way to see?

  I need to solve this problem. I tried to reset the preferences I found in other posts, but that did not help

  The problem appeared to be with my working space profile. I changed my custom profile for 'For interactive PDF' (which has the hyperlinks) and it worked. All hyperlinks and cross-references show.

  I customized my workspace with the panels I need and then registered a new workspace with the same name. Everything works fine after you save a new profile. I'll take a backup of the workspace file, so I can easily restore it if it happens again.

• Installed extensions not visible in Control Panel

  Hi all

  I am trying to install extensions for applications on my mac. In this case, the most recent DxO OpticsPro for extension of Photos, which is the application of Fotos. I also tried another app for photos to be sure, it is not the application of DxO.

  The problem is, I can't enable extensions. I opened the system settings, choose the extensions and I don't even have "Photos" in the visible list. If I open the photos app, go to the edit page and click extensions-> in addition, the system settings/extensions will be reopened. This time I have photos listed on the left side, but still not available extensions.

  I installed two extensions as written above. None of the two is in the settings.

  I use Mac OS X 10.11.5 (latest version) on a MacBook Pro 13 beginning 2011.

  Of course, I rebooted the system. But nothing has worked so far. Does anyone have an idea how I might be able to activate the extensions?

  To 'save' the availability of extensions to the operating system, you must first launch the applications that provide extensions.

  Launch apps, leave them, then see if extensions will be displayed.

  What happens when you cross the add a Printer Wizard in the window of faxes and Prtiner, please make sure that you added the printer first successuflly

  You can also try to run a USB cable directly from the printer to your computer and set up the initial connection, and then you can go wireless

  I had no problem downloading the driver for monitor for my PC.  You should be able to download and save the driver from the monitor on your PC.  Then try the installation again.

  Turn off your PC and try a reset monitor. Unplug the power cord from the monitor and hold the power button of the monitor for 30 to 60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and it lights up.

  After you download on the Windows desktop, right of the mouse on the desktop and select the resolution.  You should be able to select the desired screen orientation.

  Im trying to restore the icons of 'Trash' and 'My computer' original on my desk.

  Ive played a lot with these before settings on other computers, all of which is running Windows XP or earlier. I can't find the appropriate options in the Control Panel on my vista computer. Many forums indicate the "Change desktop icons" option should be "Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization", but the link does not exist in my control panel.

  Is there a way I can make this option appear?

  I created a new folder in another folder.  The new folder is not visible inside my project, but displays in Windows Explorer.  Also, if I try to add another folder of the same name, it rejects the action from the folder (although invisible) already exists.  My colleague can access the same file (on a drive to share) and see the new folder very well.  This error occurs if I was the only one to create the new folder or it is the creation of the new folder.  I'm new to RoboHelp and she has used it for years.  I suspect that something is not yet set towards the top right of my side.  Ideas? (I thought I posted this yesterday, but I can't find it anywhere)

  Thanks to you two.  I created the folder inside RoboHelp (9).  I didn't know about the show empty folders option, but thanks to you, I do now!  I ended up contact the Adobe Support and they had me finally get into the registry and rename the folder RoboHelp to make things.  It worked, but update the registers is not my favorite way of managing problems.

  It might be in another format different standard webm format that supports Firefox. You can try to install non-standard in Firefox support.

• DVD players dual layer works do not correctly under Windows 7 64-bit

  I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have a LIte on double layer DVD writer which has the latest firmware. Unfortunately, while all software can see it's a double layer capable drive, time that I try to use it, it fails. The drive itself is good because if I put in a system using Windows 7 32-bit, it burns discs double layer perfectly. I've been all over the internet for the last 2 days looking for solutions, and I have tried everything that I've heard of. Uninstalling drivers, ensuring that there is no upper or lower filters showing, uninstall and then reinstall the drive, edit the registry. Again, the drive WILL burn discs double layer in 32-bit Windows 7, but it burns ONLY of single layer DVD in Windows 7 64 bit.

  I hope that someone here has found a solution to this. Especially since I'm wanting to upgrade to a Blu - Ray dual layer burner so that I can use fewer disks to make backups of the system. I know Bu-Ray discs are more expensive, but I prefer to use 2 or 3 Blu ray discs to backup my system than 10 or 15 DVD. However, if discs double layer Blu Ray do not work under 64-bit Windows 7, then there is no need to upgrade.

  OK, 1. The drive works PERFECTLY under Windows 7 32 bit, which has all the same drivers / software that is running the 64-bit system.

  2 features of fine player like a DVD of SINGLE LAYER burner (it burns fine of the simple DVD layer), but not as a burner double layer (doesn't even recognize a DVD double layer is still in the drive, he MADE on the 32-bit system and burn them without any problem.)

  I have contacted LITE-ON and am running the latest firmware. Similarly all other drivers on the system (a new system just built 2 weeks ago). Basically, all the material on the 32 bit WINDOWS 7 are cloned on the 64 bit system. Everything is the same. Only change is the operating system.

  I've seen other forums that have been linked and tried everything suggested... which most have not even apply it. Still refuses to acknowledge that a DL disk is in the drive.

  So at this point, I'm simply not worry more. Going to buy the Blu - Ray burner and only single layer Blu - ray discs.

  Thank you all for trying to help. I guess the answer to this is that no one really knows what that really is the issue, and even less how to fix.

  I have a Satellite P100-160. I am very confused as to whether I have BT or not.

  I thought originally I had, because in 'Control Panel', it has a Bluetooth icon, which when I press on it opens the "Bluetooth devices". I also use WiFi I thought a sign that BT has been installed and working. I also notice that in Services' there is that something called 'Toshiba Bluetooth Service' running.

  Satellite P100-160 was NOT equipped with Bluetooth module.
  But maybe the battery BT software has been installed and is why the BT icon is visible in the control panel.

• Mail icon is missing from Control Panel, what is the file name?

  I have Windows Vista SP1 (x 64) and for some reason any mail icon does not appear in my control panel.

  I need to create an e-mail account to connect to the Exchange Server work and Outlook requires that I have do this applet of the Control Panel Mail so that Outlook is not running.

  Error message Outlook says it cannot be done in Outlook e-mail account settings when I try to Outlook.

  To be clear, this is not for Windows Mail.

  Any ideas?

  Thank you guys, I got things market! :)

  Solution:
  1. I did open default programs and set Outlook as the default e-mail program.  I don't know who really helped.

  2. I found the icon/utility view 32-bit Control Panel items in Control Panel and then clicking on which revealed (and I say revealed!) the Mail icon.

  A few Notes:
  1. I could not open the mail utility using the control mlcfg32.cpl or control method of mlcfg64.cpl.  Or the box or the command window run.
  2. in the Panel of the menu display was never showing the "Veiw 32 Bit Control Panel Items", that it was just an icon buried in the list of control panel applets.
  3. this bit 32 items in Control Panel just seems to be a small bucket of 4 Advanced Control Panel applets, they made it difficult to discover.
  4. Outlook prefers that you perform Exchange from your default account.  It wasn't the case for me, but I can easily choose the account from which to send an email when I create a new e-mail message.  I tested which and it worked.

  Everything is good the good ends, I guess, I'm running now.

  Can't get the bluetooth device icon in the control panel of my computer, I tried to find with my cell phone by performing a search for bluetooth device, but he failed and he said that they cannot find.   Please use the Forum of the community for Vista.

  You sure have a bluetooth connection built into your laptop?

  You can try this, type bluetooth in the search bar above the ORB start. If the bluetooth file transfer shortcut appears, press on enter to launch it.
