  I'm running a mid 2014 MacBook Pro with Yosemite 10.10.1 OSX and bluetooth not pair with my Officejet (L411a) 100.  The printer appears as a device available in settings bluetooth on my Mac, but I get "connection failed" when I try to pair.  I have reset the bluetooth settings on the printer (both through the HP utility and through the process of button on the printer) and checked it's Public, low security and that the password is 000000.  I entered this password on the Mac when the Options button is available after a failure of pairing try but will not always in pair.   Incidentaly, the printer prints well by USB connection.  Help, please!

  Thanks for the detailed response. I suggest to visit the computer manufacturer website and install the latest drivers for Bluetooth and check if it makes a difference.

• Headset Bluetooth will pair with the laptop. Argh.

  I find it quite impossible to pair my Bluetooth BH-01 for my Toshiba headset in Windows 8. I set the camera on the charged pairing mode then the computer to search for devices, and it has always come in white. I tried troubleshooting, to change parameters, whole enchilada, but nothing has worked. Is - this headset simply do not pair with Toshiba laptops? What is Windows 8? I'm completely confused.

  Your best chance of finding an answer would be to go to the Web site of the manufacturer of the tablet to look for procedural instructions, drivers & other software is related.  Will they have user forums then you may also be able to verify all the problems other users have experienced.

  I can't get my iPhone or any iPhone iOS 10 to pair via Bluetooth with my Jeep and the UConnect system.  My iPhone 6 after upgrade to iOS 10 connect to UConnect system as it always had.  I've recently updated for iPhone 7 and now I can't get my new phone to pair with the car.  I tried to connect other iPhones in the House running iOS 10 that were never originally paired with the Jeep as well and they all get the same error message "unsuccessful Pairing - Make sure"Uconnect"is turned on, in range and it ready to be paired.  The iPhone sees the Uconnect as a Bluetooth connection, but is not pair.  UConnect system running their most up-to-date version of the firmware 16.16.13.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

• 6 s iPhone Bluetooth will pair with El Capitan Mac but does not connect

  My employers very kindly gave me a brand new MacBook Pro running the most recent version (10.11.4) of Mac OS X.  What finish set up I need to pair my iPhone staff 6 (running iOS 9.3.1) to the computer I want to use MacID to secure my computer when I'm away from him.  While the phone would pair (pairing being initiated by the Mac) it would be briefly apply status 'connected' before going to "not connected".  When I then tried to establish a connection, I received the following message on the iPhone:

  Connection failure

  'MacBook Pro' is not supported

  and the only option to close this dialog box click the device forget .

  I therefore looked on my personal Mac which had previously been paired with the phone to find that he was is no longer listed in the devices Bluetooth, but when I looked in the settings for MacID running on my Mac it says "Looking for iPhone 6 s.  I tried to re-pair 6s iPhone to my personal machine and had the same results.  When I called in my TI guru we tried with his iPhone 6 (also installed 9.3.1) and had the same results.  As it's been a few months since I used MacID on my computer that I don't know when the link has been broken - after an update iOS or OS X update.  Bluetooth linking to my Apple Watch still works perfectly.  I was unable to try this out with any other Mac, I was looking for one with an older version of Mac OS X.

  Everyone is aware of this problem or have an idea for a fix?

  An iPhone will not pair Bluetooth with a computer (Mac or Windows) for one use other than personal hotspot and it will only do that if the carrier is supported. However, there are a number of things will be using Bluetooth between the computer and the iPhone where the devices are NOT matched.   The following link for MacID support site has instructions on how to do the installation.   I try to use a wiimote for an implementation of the elecronic whitebaord. (wiimoteproject.com). the wiimote does not use an access key to the pair. If one is given, it will not pair. I just downloaded the last stack of BT and now version 5.5.0.5800. However, when you add a device in my Bluetooth places, it requires an authentication key. The previous version of the BT stack (I think the version I had before was 5.1.xxx) doesn't have the key to the pair.

  Download BlueSoleil and WiiFlash.  (must have Blutooth internal or USB Bluetooth on the PC)

  1 install BlueSoleil

  2. then WiiFlash

  3. open BlueSoliel - push button yellow in the middle to turn on Bluetooth

  4. open WiiFlash, then reduce the minimum-Presse 1 and 2 of the Wii Remote for synchronization

  5. right click on the remote detected on BlueSoleil and tap on connect

  6. This should connect the wii remote and WiiFlash will also detect.

  Try restarting the Tablet by feeding comepletely off the power and then turn it on.

  Be sure to follow the manufacturer's directions headset to place / them in "Pairing Mode", then activate BlueTooth on the slate of 10 and tell him to "Scan for devices.  Scanning/BlueTooth/App settings button.

  I got no problem with adding BT devices to my slate loan 10 HD...
