Bluetooth not working do not error Bluetooth is not ready

I have a Toshiba laptop, windows 7. Bluetooth no longer works at the time, the icon is red and when I try to add a new connection it gives the message "Bluetooth is not ready." I tried to uninstall the adapter USB Bluetooth devices Manager and look for material changes later, but the same problem persists. I checked if its update and it says it is.

Moved from programs for Windows 7 Forum.

Hello

You did changes to the computer before the show?

This problem occurs because of a problem in the PnP layer.

I suggest you try the steps from the following link:

I tried to update the driver using the function "update driver...". ', but Windows Vista says it's the most up to date driver.

I use the bluetooth to connect PS3 controllers if that helps.

If you need more information please ask and let me know how to get the information.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Do you have what Windows system installed on your laptop Qosmio X 770?
I m request because the correct installation of the BT depends on the system you use.

I also think that the ("bluetooth is not ready') message because Bluetooth has not been properly activated.
Are you sure BT is has been activated?

  • Qosmio X 500-Bluetooth is not ready

    Hello.

I have a Qosmio X 500 64 bit with the latest Toshiba bluetooth stackpack Im having to reinstall again and again to get my BT of intellipoint mouse to work. A restart worked once but that stopped after a while. It seems to work great for the few hours that bam! Seeing red on the icon and "bluetooth is not ready" after a game session. The HID mouse is recognized as a device.

What happens when I play games with a usb joystick and then come back to use the mouse and the bluetooth device icon went red with "bluetooth is not ready" when trying to reconnect. It happened again when normal so not a problem of navigation stick? I tried a lot of different parameters, thinking that this is a problem of network or power managemnet. I'm currently using my orginal BT usb dongle but prefer my built-in. Thanks for any help.

I think that you when you say that you want to use BT books but I have very good experiences with mouse BT used with original dongle BT. No matter what goals you use the mouse, the connection will never be interrupted or disconnected.

I don't know what the problem is here, but something I did not understand everything: you have this problem while game only or usual activities too?

  • Bluetoothis is not ready - Qosmio F750

    Hi all

I only notice this problem recently with my Toshiba Qosmio laptop, in the past I was able to connect to my bluetooth very well (I use it to connect the controllers like a Wii remote). I left it for about a month or two without using it and the other day I went to use and got the error code "Bluetooth is not ready."

I tried a lot of troubleshooting methods found on this site but I seem to be having much luck restore my bluetooth, so I thought that I ask here before I wreck something on my laptop.

    I have a:
    PC laptop Toshiba Qosmio F750
    Laptop
    Note: 5.9
    processor Intel® Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz
    RAM: 8.00 GB
    System type: 64-bit operating system

I have windows 7 and which was already installed on the computer when I bought it under a year previously. I also have an Atheros AR5B195 Bluetooth device, or so it is said in my laptop on a label. Here are some screenshots of my question, the first screen shot in a compilation of photos:

Photo, Bluetooth RFBUS Device Manager (this device cannot start (code 10)).

I tried to reinstall the bluetooth stack and the filters one or twice (not sure if they were good) I also tried a Microsft Quickfix, which ends up being not not compatiable with my system. Whenever I tried a new method I backed up my computer with a restore point system and if the method failed I reloaded my system restore to be if all point right back to square one.

I would appreciate all help and if I need details more information please let me know. Thanks for your time.

    Hello

Just at the beginning, I would like to know if you have enabled the BT ON using the FN + F8 key.

I see the message: bluetooth is not ready

  • Bluetooth is not ready after waking from sleep on Windows 7

After updating my Tecra M10 Windows Vista x 64 Enterprise to Windows 7 x 64 enterprise, sometimes, when I wake up the laptop from sleep, Bluetooth is not ready.

Hibernation does not solve the problem, he needs a reset which is a problem for me because I usually have a lot of open applications.
In this case, the only Bluetooth devices in Device Manager are:

    * Bluetooth RFCOMM
    * Bluetooth USB Controller-5 at TOSHIBA

When everything works well, the Bluetooth devices in Device Manager are:

    * Bluetooth RFBUS
    * Bluetooth RFCOMM
    * Bluetooth RFHID
    * Bluetooth USB Controller-5 at TOSHIBA

How can I restart Bluetooth without having to restart the entire system? Turn wireless on and off the silder side does not work.

    Hello

As much as I know Tecra S2 has no Bluetooth module, but it is Bluetooth ready. This means that the Bluetooth software is already installed. There are two solutions:
-You can buy the Bluetooth module and it must be built in or
-You can use an external Bluetooth device as USB Bluetooth stick.

    Good bye

  • Bluetooth is not ready

    Hello

I've always used internal bluetooth on my Satellite 5100 201 without any problem (Windows XP SP2). But today I installed the new version of the bluetooth 3.20 stack (previous uninstall) and now the bluetooth device is not recognized. I see it in the list of devices not recognized by the SiW name and I am not able to install drivers for it. When I use the new installer, then he stops at one point (during the installation of the drivers).

If I specify the option "I do not accept" (Microsoft certification) then he finished but the drivers are not yet installed. If I choose the option "I agree" (do not display messages on this certification) then it never ends. I tried to install the drivers manually (INFs) in the installation of packages, but it does not help. In this case, the Bluetooth manager complains that ' bluetooth device is not ready ".

One thing is that beofore new bluetooth stack I installed battery bluetooth WIDCOM (not me, but mobile phone Installer). I uninstall, but maybe it's because this software evil I have this error. Install bluetooth drivers never ends.

Maybe someone knows how can I install SiW bluetooth drivers. Thank you.

    Alex

    Hello

    Please check this page http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/pages/faq/bluetoothnotworking.html.

The SiW entrance is unknown to me. Can you please write full name? Try to activate the Bluetooth card by using the FN + F8 key combination. As far as I know if the adapter is enabled, the operating system detects and it will be displayed in the Device Manager. At this time try to install newer Bluetooth stack.

Tell us please what exactly happens.

  • Peripheral Bluetooth is not ready on my satellite phone

I wonder if anyone can help please?

I bought a Toshiba Equium laptop and am relatively new to bluetooth general. I have a Manager bluetooth in my taskbar, but every time that I get it to find device it says "Bluetooth device is not ready", I carefully read each manual I and the "activated the button at the front we ', but I don't think that it is nothing to do with bluetooth and it's wireless.

Does anyone know if one) I have bluetooth at all and b) how can I make it work! So frustrating! Thank you

    Hello Trudy

Please don't be not frustrating. For most of the problems, there must be some explanation. Please check the underside of your laptop. You can find here key Bluetooth (it looks like stick WiFi)?

If so, the BT is available on your device. If it isn't...

  • (Not ready) TosBtMng.exe during closing. Bluetooth cannot connect devices

I noticed that my bluetooth stopped working recently. I can't connect or find near devices.
I can not open bluetooth settings or any application bluetooth came with my laptop. I have a bluetooth module and everything built in.
It was then that I noticed that whenever I tried to stop my laptop, one 'not answer' or 'not ready' message kept popping up to TosBtMng.exe.

I tried to uninstall my previous bluetooth batteries and reinstalled the latest, but the same problem keeps occurring.
TosBtMng.exe installation rail smoothly however, continues to be unresponsive.

    In Device Manager I see:

    + Bluetooth
    -Bluetooth RFBUS
    -Bluetooth RFCOMM
    -BluetoothRFHID
    -Bt-183 Bluetooth 2.0

    + Ports (COM & LPT)
    -BTPort (COM10 - COM14)
    -BTPort (COM20 - COM21)
    -BTPort (COM6)
    -BTPort (COM65)

I understand that there should be something under system and USB devices, but I don't see anything else.

I used ([http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539/EN-US/ | http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539/EN-US/]) this link to view non-connected devices and I see a whole bunch of phantom ports. I do not know how to connect these ports. I tried Bluetooth Com Local, but who does not work either.

I read several posts on this forum about it, but I've not seen a solution. Maybe I missed something? If anyone knows of one, could you please direct me to this solution? Thank you!

At first, I have to say that it will be interesting to know what Toshiba laptop you have and what operating system you are using. I assume you are using Windows XP Home edition. am I right about that?

I use BT on my WXP preinstalled Satellite M70 nearly two years now and everything is working fine. If you can't get this to work using BT more recent battery maybe you need to reinstall your laptop using recovery media delivered.

  • Bluetooth is not ready on Satellite P750

I'm trying to combine a Bluetooth device on my p750 satellite and when I press on "new connection" in the Bluetooth settings I get a message "Bluetooth is not ready."
I've activated Bluetooth with FN F8. In the Bluetooth wizard options, the Bluetooth is enabled.

I see not a physical switch anywhere, which allows to disable the Bluetooth...

    Any advice?

Toshiba computers laptops don t have physical switch to BT BT can be activated only with FN + F8.
When you turn on BT for the first time the BT driver will be installed and all components of BT appears in Device Manager. Usually software stack Toshiba BT will start and taskbar (notification icons) you will see BT small symbol.

Please check this box. If this symbol appears in red, then BT s device not ready for its use, but if the symbol is blue that you should be able to use the BT connection.

I can't say for sure, but I guess you didn't activate BT correctly. Please try again.

  • Peripheral Bluetooth is not ready!

I have a Qosmio G10 and have had this ongoing problem with the installation of bluetooth devices. Whenever I open Bluetooth and go to connect a device, it says "bluetooth is not ready." Help? Someone, please.

    Hello MB

First of all, check if the Bluetooth module is installed on your device. If Yes, in the lower corner of your laptop, there must be Bluetooth label.
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/FAQ.jsp?z=96&service=EU&FID=tro000000189d

If there is no label your device doesn't have Bluetooth, and it is a reason for this message that occurs.

    Good bye
