  go to sleep is not turned off in all parts of the pc.

  The most commonly used workaround is to use the Windows 8.1 Intel Management Engine Interface 9.5.24.1790 driver.   If you're lucky, it's just a simple matter to go to the Device Manager and roll back the driver.  If you did a clean installation of Windows 10, rollback may not work, and you may need to install 9.5.24.1790.

  Hi, I recently bought Acer aspire model E15 E5 - 572 G-5577, which came with i5 - 4210 m (2.6 to 3.2 Ghz), 8 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce 840 M 2 GB dedicated VRAM, 1 TB HDD and freeDOS. Since Win8.1 x 64, I received for my birthday, I bought this laptop without windows and installed 8.1, as claimed by Acer which fully supports this operating system. Everything was ok to install and I even installed HD4600 pilot but when installed Nvidia driver although it seemed ok and it has been shown in the Device Manager, the map graphic is not showing in my screen (only HDGraphics) and nvidia Control Panel, I had only the 3D settings option, but again it seems that 840M has not started. I guess it's the pilot so after many try with different drivers I have always the same question. The laptop is brand new and in OEM 8.1 it seems to work but not for us all, who have a purchased copy of Windows. Please help me because I am very frustrated that I lost a lot of money on an Acer with 840M GPU that will not work.
