Blurry images

Just bought a new HP PAVILION laptop, running on Vista Home Premium. It worked very well. Then I went to Windows Update and checked to see if she needed anything be it; They recommended 24 updates. (I thought that this computer must have been on the shelf for a while). That I downloaded. Now if I visit a website that contains images, they are blurry and vague and do not yet clearly charge over time (I have a 'Dial Up', I'm use to slow charge). It was suggested to go to appearance and personalization and change the settings. It did not work. Any suggestions?

Hello Chas.,.

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

You experience this problem only when you go to Web sites or this happens for all images?  You use Internet Explorer 7/8 or another browser?   If this is the case for all the images, you are trying to view, I would check that your video card is updated.
Another option if you are using Internet Explorer is to reset the settings.  I added the steps below.  Please let us know status.  Thank you!

To check the video driver is updated - click on Start icon->, then type "Device Manager" in the search and select.
The appearance of tab for your sound/video card device manager.  If you click on this you will be able to update the drivers.

  • Blurry images on the Retina display

    Dear all,

I have two iMac 27', one of 2010 and a whole new one retina.

    The topic is:

Editing some pictures on photoshop for my site on the retina of display but the photos seem a little obscure, as a low resolution...
Edit the photos exactly the same on my old iMac and the perfect look of photos!

Same size, same resolution, same photoshop.

To be sure, I saved the two photos for the web on iMacs and then open them with the application overview on both screens.

Even, perfect on old screen and a little little point clear or blurry on the retina.

    Someone knows why?

This happens only on photos, texts and stuffs are supa clear on the Retina display, but I noticed that most of the websites I visit display pictures unclear!

So I guess that the problem is not the way that I save my photos or computer that I use.

looking forward to read from you guys.

    Jules.

On the regular iMac, an image that is 400 pixels may appear as about 3 inches long on this screen. However, on your iMac to the retina, that image would be on a 1.5 inch. This is because the iMac has double the resolution, but the same retina display size. Which makes things look great. The downside is, it can also make things look small. To avoid this, the iMac of retina automatically stretches everything so a 400 pixel image on the regular iMac seems the same size on the Retina display. If you set a picture on, you know it can become blurred.  The solution to optimize your images for the Retina of your iMac display is to use higher resolution images. If you take a picture only twice as large that it must be on a traditional screen and squish it down for display on your Web site, it will look sharp for normal users. Then, when he's nervous for someone on an iMac of retina, you're going to be displayed at its original size - and it will always look perfect. There are ways to check the zoom level of the web browser and provide different versions of images on this basis. HTML5 offers tools to help with this. Another solution is to use vector graphics to SVG.

  • Blurry images of Muse

    Hello

When I place my logo in JPEG format in Muse, it becomes slightly blurry when I saw / export the site.

I tried to save on the JPEG in Illustrator and Photoshop, both times, the quality is perfect. I really don't understand why Muse is blurred my logo!

I use a Macbook Pro 2011, no retina display!

Just for a test: make sure (!), the image is placed with no scaling (= 100%), export to HTML site, locate the image, open it in Photoshop, and compare it to the original.

If there is no difference, save a simple Muse with an original image (!) file to a service like Dropbox and post the link here, that we can have a look.

I made sure that the overlay is set to Raster and the image itself is set to 72 dpi... don't know why there is such a difference between devices and was curious if anyone had any idea of what I could try?

    Thank you!

    Hi Bob,

We turned the image into a button pointing to his own State, I think this may have stripped all the overlay parameters that may have affected it as sound appears crispy like bacon breakfasts

  • 'place' blurry images Photoshop Illustrator - at check in .pdf file?

I edited some images in Photoshop for use in a .pdf file I created in Illustrator.

In PS, images was beautiful and have been registered with the following parameters: .jpg/CMYK/Image Options: 10/Maximum. I have "placed" in the Illustrator file, everything was always wonderful, but I exported all of the .pdf file, the pictures came out blurry.

The resolution is 300 dpi for images of three, all pixels of 170 x 100, which is also the size, they are used to in Illustrator.

I note also that during the "placement" images in Illustrator, regardless of the type of file, the images are invariably much smaller that originally saved as. It's never happened before.

Any ideas on how to have clean images, in the PDF?

Things, I tried with no sign of improvement:

Standard, high quality print and print quality save settings

Save images as .jpg, .tiff, .psd in Photoshop to place in Illustrator

'Link' and no 'link' when you place it in Illustrator

Save images 2 x and 3 x the size in Photoshop to reduce in Illustrator

And a cap perforated how I'm viewing the PDF with the images at 100% in Acrobat:

    Screen shot 2012-09-29 at 5.17.09 PM.png

The quality is affected by their scaling upwards - at least if that's what you were doing with the placed files.

170px wide at 300 dpi works be 0,5667 inches wide. Did you leave them this size or you increase their width/height?

If you resize them, what size do you want in the publication? Let's say that you want them to be 2 "wide. 2 inches x 300 DPI is 600px wide at 300 dpi.

    Take care, Mike

Edit to add * using my desired example 2 "width, if we place a 170px 300 dpi image, enlarged width 2", the effective DPI is approximately 83 dpi.

  • Satellite M30X - fuzzy, blurry images

I have a big problem with all the JPEGs and gif in Web browser (IE, Opera, Firefox etc.). I don't completely understand what is happening. All images, Office looks good and normal, but when I start to use the internet browser, images (JPEG, gif) on fuzzy search and terrible-very poor quality websites (FLASH animations is ok). I reinstalled my XP four times, updated everything I could. At first I thought that the cause is java or a plugin, but now I don't really know what to do. Same BIOS update did not help. Now, I use Windows 2003 and I still have this problem. My graphics card is ATI Radeon. In the past I had very similar problem, but I fixed it by reinstalling Opera Browser. I really need help. Sorry for the language, I hope someone will understand what I wrote.

    Hello

Never heard of this kind of problem. If the images JPEG or gif is not downloaded completely sometimes images are blurred and incomplete. I'm confused about that because you have this problem with a maximum of different browsers.

Also try changing the screen resolution. Your device should work with 1280 x 800 pixels.

  • The first blurry image and text top display

I would like to see a newspaper article, discuss and then blur while displays a quote from the article.

Can I use effects blur the newspaper article and then show the quote?

Keynote has not all the tools which will do that, however, there are many applications that apply a blur to an image, obviously Photoshop if you have one, but the following options are free:

    • If you have iPhoto using the blur effect
    • Download Fotor from the Mac App Store

Apply the blur to a second copy of the image on the slide and a generation effect to view the blurred image in case of need:

Click on the image to select then: Inspector > Animation > build in > add effect

I tried to use the ClearType tuner, which helps somewhat, but not satisfactory.

    Appreciate any help

    Thank you.

    I found the solution.

I downloaded and installed the update for Intel HD Graphics driver for Windows 7 from Lenovo download site. Of course, this was not included in the CD of Win7.

  • FM 12 - imported blurry images but OK in PDF output

Does anyone know how to make the images inside my FM files look better?  The images are 150dpi and seem perfectly fine when I convert them to PDF.  I wish I had a better viewing of experience inside the FM.  Can I change the settings on the computer, etc. for this problem? Thank you, in advance, for advice.

Photographic images to these parameters should go reasonably well in FM. However, if these are screenshots where you have some straight lines and text, then you use a wrong format. JPG compression is frozen and introduce artifacts (ringtone, shadows, fuzzies) around texts and straight or mixed borders. You use PNG for screenshots.

  • Why blurry images that I place in CP5, but they look fine in the preview?

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong our there is a frame, I'm not finding.

Sorry, but all the images are rasterized. That means bitmap. And if you have a bitmap image to something else that 100% inevitably a loss you of detail and clarity.

The degree to which he suffers depends on the degree you are scaling.

  • Firefox displays Fuzzy images (and none of the best-known work)

    I don't care

    • If I run Firefox in SafeMode (disabled plugins),
    • If I update my graphic drivers,

Firefox continues to display blurry images.

Here is a screenshot of comparison between Firefox (left) and opera (right) the same rendered image:
    http://imgur.com/7GksG7Z

This has happened for a long time, even through several updates of Firefox. None of the solutions I found on the web (see list above) will correct this problem.

The image blur is tiring for the eyes, not being able to see the images properly is so boring, and I hope someone can help me solve this problem.

Change the behavior of the Firefox zoom so you can enlarge the text only, but not the images can lead to break the site layouts. If you want to take a look:

View menu > Zoom > check Zoom text only

(If you do not normally display the classic menu bar, press the Alt key to show it temporarily).

Firefox 22 was the first to link your zoom level content of Firefox on your setting PPP for Windows. You can break the connection and set Firefox to use 100% resolution (the classic 96 dpi resolution) If you wish. Here's how:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste the pix and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and change its value 1.0 for Firefox 21 size of fonts.

Content will be returned to normal, but the toolbars may appear a bit smaller than your standard Windows for UI (100/105%). There is an extension to enlarge fonts in this area: police theme & size changer.
