  You probably have Wacom-software installed on the Mac. Uninstall or update to the current version.

  It may also be an element of Wacom in the users pane and groups in system preferences: in the login items tab and delete it if necessary.

  Problem:

  After you have decided my iMac demanded a critical software update, I've updated from El Capitan 10.11 to 10.11.3 today. From restarting after the update has been downloaded, computer crashes just after the start progress bar appears and begins to charge to the top.

  • Pay for it (I don't see how it's my fault, or that I should pay for it be repaired), it's your fault in a way, but you don't have to pay to fix.
  • Extremely sensitive data - loss if you kept backups that would not be a concern.

  Try this:

  Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It will be slower than a normal startup.

  OK, the fact of the background scrolling solves the problem of blurry text.   Manually uninstall the tools inside the virtual machine (from Control Panel), and then install them manually after a reboot.  Cancel any automatic installation which begins.

  We just hit this issue and thanks to this thread and a light bulb above my head, resolved this question today. There is more to the story. Copy the necessary images in place works, but get the full version 4.1.1 images.
