Body double background in Muse?

Hello

Looking forward to the exit 'semi-official' Muse with Adobe Creative cloud in a week or two! I have not downloaded the beta, but have read a little the first tutorials and videos.

Just for the record, I'm NOT code-aversion and can look at html and CSS, play a bit with it. I am an intermediary encoder and use Dreamweaver a bit and can manually code some elemenrs if needed. Two issues of Muse:

(1) I am about to build a pretty massive pop culture history site - however, targeting a certain audience niche - who will probably 100 to 200 pages total. There will be a lot of fun to design elements of the site (and a ton of pages in the design) and that's why I'm considering strongly Muse to build with... so I can just design, design and design not too hung up with coding. That being said, is there absolutely no way to access a 'code view' Muse, if I need to make features that Muse has not (yet)? Or I have to put the generated html code of Muse in Dreamweaver to manipulate the code, and then someow take the code back in Muse?

(2) This brings me to my next question, a design element, I want to achieve this new site: a background of Body Double. That means, sums of a certain background image at the top of each page and then just below it will start a repeating background. A big (and better) explanation of this, and how it can be achieved with coding is to:

http://jorenrapini.com/blog/CSS/double-body-background-CSS-trick

Would this feature already built in Muse, would be very helpful!

Thanks, best,

Digger

# 1, it would be easier to answer if you gave some examples of such things, that you may feel you need to use hand coding to achieve. Symbolized_bar_code explained that muse edition generated code is really not a viable workflow. However, many things can be achieved by embedding code within the Muse via the function insert HTML snippets of code HTML and the possibility of adding code to the head section (which is not in Beta 7, but will be in the official press release that will be released in a week about).

#2 is easily achieved in Muse by using the combination of an image background browser should be aligned to the top center and vertically tiled and a rectangle of width 100% (created by simply drawing a rectangle that snaps to the edges left and right of the browser in Muse Design view area) on your page master (s) and set the background image to fill the rectangle (also set higher center-aligned).

Daisy, there is hope for everyone.

The good news is that it works in IE9, FF20, Chrome, Safari and other features of CSS level 3 support.

The bad news is that images of multiple-background in the selector similarly do not appear in pre - IE9 because they are not browsers compliant web standards.  Never have been, never will be.

The solution would be to feed the lesser browsers IE conditional comment with a single background image.

Or break things upwards, some more by applying unique background for html selectors, body and .header images.

  • Scaling of Images/background for Muse Pages

I work with Adobe Muse and have difficulty with sizes of web pages, especially when I try a sites page. For example, I have an a site page with images background four, one per page. (i.e. main image has, services a b picture, picture c and d image contact). I prepared my images, optimized for the web and put across the different sizes to see what works, like width 1100 pixels, height 600 pixels, then set and tested. Unfortunately, no matter what I change, the proportions always get screwed upward when I export the site. Image sizes are disabled or missing in some cases. Now, don't confuse this issue with mobile proportions. I know there are at least three designs; Mobile, Tablet and desktop. At this point, I just want to get office just before moving on. I looked at Lynda.com tutorials, even one on the sites of a webpage with Muse and this tutorial, the decorations were ALREADY perfectly proportioned. Both and the instructor does not mention how he got it. So please, can someone explain how to get the proportions of the image or a background page optimized for Web sites a page? Yes, I know screen everyone is different. I just want, more or less, as the user scrolls down, the background image or pages to be roughly one after another, instead of an unholy mess.

Absolutely useless. Learn the code from scratch. I regret wasting time with Muse I did. There is no substitute. Muse is a product that fails to respect what it promises.

  • irregular rectangular background in muse

    Hi all

I have worked with muse for awhile now, I consider myself an intermediate user. Recently I spent through some web design patterns and noticed that some sites use a rectangle with effect of Parallax of irregular shape. I know not how they did the effect of Parallax, my question is how can I create irregular rectangles in muse?

I know I can create forms like this in illustrator, save it with a transparent background and then place it inside a div of muse box. My concern is with this method, I'm not sure if it would be insensitive. Is there some tools in muse i im just totally missing?

Is a good example of a Web site design that does something like this: Parasponsive

I understand that the link I shared is a wordpress theme, but I've seen web designs using shapes like that muse. What is the best way to achieve this?

MonkeysOnCrunk Do you mean the summits diagonally sliced rectangles? I don't see exactly how they do on this theme, summits are separated in the main part of the rectangle, so I guess it's an image file.

To re-create the effect of the Muse, adding a rectangle filled with a .png above the normal rectangle element image, the missing part would be just the transparency of the image. Like this:

    I hope this helps.

Stupid question.  I'm confused about the designation of the Muse version.  My "Muse" said v. 2.1.  But this site <http://blogs.adobe.com/labs/archives/2012/05/adobe-muse-beta-7-2-is-now-available.html> talking about 7.2 beta.  Please, someone reconcile these designations.  Whatever it is, the Muse is still beta, right?  If so, when he has a "final"?

This blog that you accessed is 4 months old and described the latest public beta before Muse 1.0 is available. Muse 1.0 was released in may, and Muse 2.0 is released in August. The current version of expedition of Muse is 2.1. You can try Muse for free for 30 days, after that you need a subscription to continue using the Muse.

The reason why it appears at the bottom of the page is located in the following line of code:

    document.body.appendChild (renderer.domElement);

Which adds the element to the body rather than the div you have nested code inside.

Move the script out of the div, it is currently nested in (he must go after the div). Also change the line that adds the polygon to the page:

  • When I view an image in its own tab, the background is dark gray. How can I change to white?

I started using Firefox 21.0 the other day, and I noticed that when I click to display an image, the background for the rest of the tab becomes dark gray. I'm used to the white background and would like to change it back, but I don't know how. I would really appreciate the help.

    Hey there,

If you want your community to be white temporary, run this piece of code in your Javascript (Shift + Ctrl + K) console:

    document. Body.style.Background = 'white'

Otherwise, you can use this module to restore the old style:
