• Since Version 8, bookmarks "Sort by name" does not work. No work around?

  I have a load of bookmarks sorted I want to move to different folders of bookmark. In previous versions of Firefox, there was available to do a right click on the bookmark that then produces a screen with options to edit the name of the bookmark and the provision of 'move' bookmark at the selected folder.   I want to clean my favorites that are a real mess and have been moved from one computer to another over the years. If I click on bookmarks, all list shows but if I click on the bookmarks show are all bookmarks, only tidy folders, not display bookmarks that are not in the files.   N the bookmarks manager that is labeled Menu bookmarks is itself a record. That opens on the right side of scroll down, who can then be bookmarks that you have not yet found.

  If bookmarks are those on the bookmarks toolbar look in this folder.

  You can right click and delete, select and use the key "Delete", or remove

  2. Find the bookmark you want to move
  3. Long click on the title and drag it to the open tree 'personal bar '.
  4. Let go when you see a horizontal line from the position at the top.

  I have cruelly manipulative effective bookmark and, if possible, synchronize across machines and other browsers. I'm a web dev I sometimes end up using another browser and wanting to access my current favorites by doing this. Xmarks and Andy Halford SortPlaces extension have worked together and superbly FF21, but both seem to have fatal problems in FF22. There is also a minor problem with entries file on dark sites in FF22. I see no reason to re - pass which would compensate for the absence of bookmark sorting and storage I have, hassle, with FF21. Firefox is still my favorite browser, thanks to bookmarking extensions and toolbar Developer (which I paid something to), but Chrome seems to sort bookmarks easily these days.

• I would like to know when the Foxytunes Addon will be compatible again. I found this add-on very useful for me.

  FoxyTunes was not available for several updates of Firefox. I also have no more the sort for bookmarks addon. These are much more useful to me than the media social addons.

  Yahoo has not updated the Foxy Tunes add-on in quite some time. As much as I am able to determine the latest version Yahoo management has 10 Firefox, although Mozilla.Addons.Org said that Foxy Tunes was last compatible with Firefox 12.

  My advice is to find a suitable replacement that has the features you want.
