Boot Camp Windows 10 Upgrade does not work

Hello world!

I use Windows 7 Professional SP1 with boot camp, I managed to function very well.

I bought a legal copy of Windows 7 Professional and active, it yesterday, so all is good and works as it should (more or less)

I did it on my iMac 5 k (end of 2014). I use version 6 of boot camp and installed all updates in OSX as well on Windows 7 via the apple software update tool.

Now, I decided to upgrade to Windows 10 but somehow it does not work for me as it should.

I am able to do 10 downloaded Windows and Setup will start, but immediately after it will crash.

I use the German version so I can only tell you what is presented here:

"eine handcrafted befehlszeile [/DynamicUpdate] angegeben wurde.

I don't know what the problem is, I tried 3 times more using the Microsoft upgrade page.

I also tried the MediaCreationTool but I still get the same error at the beginning of the installation.

What I need to install additional drivers on my USB dongle or do I have to remove my USB mouse and the USB dongle (which is always to have the files to install boot camp Windows 7 top)?

I don't see what else to do and hope that someone here knows how to perform the upgrade properly.

Kind regards

ela7ion

Update!

The upgrade succeeded finally!

I managed to do the upgrade after removing all devices that are connected to the iMac before.

This includes:

-SuperDrive

-USB mouse

-USB dongle

I then started the tool to upgrade from the Microsoft Web site and guess what: it worked.

Best regards

    When I turn on my laptop, it brings me to a screen titled "Windows Error Recovery" which means the following:

    "Windows did not start.  A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. »

    He asks me if I want to '(recommended) launch Startup Repair' or 'Start Windows normally'.

    When I select repair system, the screen turns off for half a second only and brings back me to the exact page as I was already on.

    When I select "Start Windows normally", he brings me to the loading screen that usually starts with Vista (anyone who says (c) Microsoft Corporation), except that it never stops loading.  I left for hours, and he was still on the same screen.

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Had to format drive (trojan) & reinstall Windows XP home. Now Windows media player does not work as no DVD driver download from Toshiba site?
    Hello
    Usually the Windows media Player is not able to read DVD movies IF no plugins were installed.
    To watch DVDs, you can use programs such as WinDVD or PowerDVD.
    These programs are designed for the DVD play!
    But you can also visit the Microsoft Web site and search plug-ins for Windows Media player.
    Then you can download and install to play a DVD with WMP
    You must install the driver for Winows 7 for the camera, * if * it exists. Get it at the web site of the manufacturer of the camera.
    Also, note the following:
    You ever need connect your device directly. Buy a card reader for the type of flash card your camera uses (they are very expensive), put the flash card and plug it into a USB port.
    Personally, I prefer to do it this way. It is much easier and doesn't use the camera battery. I have two cards - one readers that I keep on my desk next to my desktop computer and another that I keep in my case of laptop for use when traveling.
