  Free-form would pretty much your only option for interactively deformable 3D entity in AE. Everything else will require a true 3-d program or buying plug-ins.

• Using "Image/transform/Perspective" on a layer?

  I am new to this.  I have a shot of a large room with boxes empty art on the walls.  I have rectangular layers which are paintings shots I want to drop into the frames, but of course, the layers of paint must be shifted to show the angle of perspective (trapezoidal) that matches the room.  Problem is, it seems that I can use only the Image/transform/perspective on painting files until they become layers.  This means guessing the perspective, and then moving them in the background, which is trial & error at best.  It is very difficult to guess the proper perspective when the file is not a layer. It seems that once the paint files become layers, the "perspective" option is no longer available.  I can use "cross" or "transformation", but not "perspective."    "Skew" does not work, because even if she will turn the rectangle into a paralellogram, it will not change the rectangle into a trapezoid. 'Free Transform' does not work for the same reason.  So, how to apply the function of "perspective" to a layer?

  If I knew how to change the rectangle by entering one of the boxes to anchor at a corner selection and he place attachment, it would help because I could create my own trapeze, but I don't know how to do this.  Anyone?

  Anyway, try this:

  Drag or copy / paste paint in. It will come as a new layer.

  Convert this smart object layer (layer > Smart Object > convert..). Reduce the opacity of the smart object to 50%.

  Choose transform > Distort and move the corners into place individually.

  When you are happy, set opacity to 100% and rasterize the smart object.

  The beauty of the dynamic object is in this case that you can transform repeatedly without any loss of additional quality; It will be made only once when you rasterize.

  You can put it in a precomp it is at a lower rate (make sure that your preferences are set to keep the pace of the precomps).

  This could be an effect of snap to grid of pixels, or an (other) type of involuntary snap.

  If necessary, you can turn off snap to grid of pixels in the Transform, current object palette both for new objects (in the options).

  You can consult to slam into the drop-down list display.

  Hi, I wonder if anyone knows of a script or an easy way to transform an object gradually over the pages.

  Ok.. I'm at home so I can't really test this much, but using the method of jarek (faster, easiear, better etc.):

  Create the "roving" items on the first page of your document.

• Bounding box does not object (Illustrator CS4)

  I don't know if this is a bug or a mistake on my part, but since last week, the bounding box for my objects really did match objects. It's really problematic when I try to turn the object using the bounding box handles.

My system is XP Professional SP3 with an Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.66 GHz and 3.25 GB of RAM. The objects are not grouped, contain no clipping masks, contain no transparency masks and are not transparent traces. They are paths/simple forms, often of the rectangles.

  I've included some pics to explain better my problem. This first picture shows how the framework encompassing does not match the rectangle.

  It is a display bug (?) that has been around for a while.  The corners of the rectangle enclosing space requirement and display then the bounding box must be established more then the object it contains.  That's correct, I think - but the bug occurs when you resize and she estimated the size of the bounding box, rather than the size of the object.

  The only solution for the bounding box to work is to zoom in order to have the corners of room bounding box to draw the size of the object.  Alternatively, look at your panel of transformation to manually resize your object.
