Boot stops at the HP screen after resizing partition

Hello

Last weekend, I formatted my computer laptop dv5 and I also deleted the recovery partition. I then did a clean install of Win7 and everything was good. Tonight, I decided to decrease my C: drive and move before the D: drive (my other partition). After resizing and movement of C:, I could boot Win7 alright. There was still a small space (about 528 KB) between what I believe is the MBR (100 MB system reserved-labelled), the other approximately 100 KB and my C: drive so I ran another pass of my partition to occupy this space.

Because finally, who move to C, I can't get past the black screen of HP. I tried to start using my Win7 CD, but I can't any menu: if I press Esc at startup I get a black screen. Something all the other F keys (F2, F10, F11, etc.), when you tap on at the start, give me a message at the bottom of the HP screen (for example, F10...) BIOS setup options) but it is stuck there. Nothing happens more...

I hope I didn't screw up too bad and I'll find here some tips on how to recover from my mistake.

Thanks for any help and sorry for my bad.

Guillaume

Okay, so for the benefit of third parties, here's how I solved my problem:

-Booted from a cd of isolinux, with disconnected hard drive
-connected the drive hard using the usb-to-sata adapter
-Tools linux to clear all partitions on the hard disk and format as a single NTFS partition
-computer laptop shutdown, remove cd
-connected the hard drive to the laptop and booted sata connector: no boot manager not found message
-inserted the cd Win7 and rebooted from cd
-installed Win7 on hard drive
-fact

  • El Capitan does not start after a freeze and a forced, bonded stop on the gray screen

    Hi all

I have a MacBook Pro 17 "late 2011, 2.4 Ghz, 16 GB RAM with OS X El Capitan installed, the latest version with all the updates." A year ago, I've had my Toshiba HDD replaced by Samsung SSD 250 GB SATA III 850 EVO and the Toshiba disk has been moved to CD using LMP disk Doubler Bay, at the same time, I had my RAM went from 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM, I have now. The OS X El Capitan is installed on the SSD. In this configuration, everything worked well, with absolutely no problem whatsoever. Sometimes, I ran disk utility to check both of my hard drives and no problem.

Unfortunately yesterday, strange things started going. First of all, I noticed some unusual glitches when you browse the internet with Safari. I'll try to describe the best I can because they lasted about 2 seconds, so I don't recall. In any case, all of a sudden, as if half right of my screen has shifted in the middle of the screen and it was wrong and image around was all damaged or distorted but legible. He'll be back to normal when I switched between applications or revealed the office displays the windows of all running applications.

It was similar to this (below) but much larger.

Then, I continued my work as if nothing had happened, when all of a sudden my mouse pointer disappeared and the system froze completely. It was just totally frozen, the time was not moving and the computer did not react somehow to the keys I pressed. Unable to do anything, I had to press and hold the power button to turn off the computer. After starting it again once I hear the ringtone, I see the gray Apple logo and the loading bar. When the loading bar reaches about 40%, a coloured horizontal line appears (see photo below), then it subsides quickly followed by a black screen, which is quickly followed by a blank grey screen with no Apple logo or the bar loading, just a gray screen Uni, where I'm stuck. The computer turns off by itself after about 15-30 minutes if I leave it like that on the gray black screen.

    The coloured horizontal line:

I can't start in safe mode or recovery mode.

I CAN only boot single user mode, Apple Hardware Test mode, the boot (by holding the ALT/OPTION key) Manager and verbose mode. Also, I can start on the Internet recovery mode but once the download is complete, it is stuck on the gray screen (gray screen with the Apple logo WITHOUT horizontal line-online quick clear-online stuck on the gray screen black screen)

After a lot of googling and reading, that's what I've tried so far:

    -' fsck - fy " in single-user mode

-running Apple Hardware Test and the Apple Hardware Test extended, both are zero problem

-Reset PRAM and NVRAM, MSC, several times

    -with the help of this guide: https://www.afp548.com/2015/01/14/when-yosemite-has-fallen-and-it-cant-get-up/ in single-user mode: "rm - rf / Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/private/var/db/BootCache * '

-in single-user mode: empty the trash

    -in single-user mode: "sudo purge"

-in a single user mode: 'exit' or 'reboot'

However, during my fight, I could successfully arrives at the login screen, log in and use my MacBook for some time, about a half hour before the same thing happens, the mouse disappears and the system to freeze completely. I remember that both times where I was able to get to the login screen, it was after I had been in single user mode and typed 'Quit' or 'reboot'.

The above colorful horizontal line also appears in the single-user mode when I type "exit" AND I am UNABLE to get to the login screen later (photo below). It just goes to the gray white screen. Those two times when I was able to connect to exit single-user mode, the horizontal line colored is NOT appear in single-user mode.

If I hold the Option key during the startup key, there is no selection record except OSX.

With disk utility, it is indeed alive, but he did not seem a new partition, instead of empty space - which I have no intention of.

  • Satellite A660 boots up to the black screen with blinking cursor not upper left

My new Satellite A660-10W sometimes (not always), when turned on, boots up to a black screen with a flashing cursor in the top left. If I stop by pressing the power button, it stops immediately. I then wait a few seconds and press the power button again and then it usually starts very well.

Could it be updated during this process and I'll be more patient (usually wait a few minutes) before shutting down when this happens?

Usually something like that shouldn't happen. Satellite A660 is no different from all the other models and OS must be loaded shortly after Toshiba welcome screen appears.
