Once the speed of the mouse is set up there is no way to increase the speed beyond.

  • Activate the pointer of the mouse on windows Tablet 8

    Hello

I have a question on how to enable the mouse pointer on a touch screen of windows 8 tablets with no touch pad or are anchored.
Is it possible to do this from the settings or control panel?
I have here a way to install a virtual driver for a mouse to display the mouse pointer?
    Kind regards
    Mario

No, the mouse pointer is not displayed, unless a pointing without touchscreen device is used.  If you use your finger, the mouse pointer is not drawn.

Unlike the old operating systems (like Windows 7) who simply moved the slider and sent false "clicks" when you used the key, the touch system of Windows 8 is designed to work like that on the iPhone or Android: there is no cursor when you use the key (not even an invisible backstage).

  • Problems with macros on the conflicts of the mouse with windows shortcuts

    Hello!

I just bought a Logitech G930 wireless mouse to use in my mmo games. The mouse has 13 programmable buttons and I use most of them to bind the different tricks to use in games.

However, when using a few things related to CTRL-1, 2 and 3, it does not work as I intended. When you press the makro and bind for CTRL-1, for example, I am thrown out of the game and face the screen to change windows. CTRL-2 set up a Web page, Google search in my case. The desired function is not the case in the game at all.

I tried to find a way to disable shortcuts in windows vista, but only to find instructions on how to disable those using the Windows key.

  • Delay / the entrance of the mouse in Windows 7

After exhaustive tests with benchmarking and using the exact same hardware with the same exact drivers I arrived at the following conclusion.

Any entry in the system in Windows 7, takes from 30 to 32 ms longer to deal with.

My system is an i7 975, 12 GB 1600 mhz DDR3 RAM, a raid 0 2 Velociraptor 10 000 rpm configuration and a HD 5970 graphics card. Which is basically an apex performance from December 2009.

Why windows 7 have this slightly noticeable lag? Would help resettlement?

Would it be because of all the above materials?

    Answers would be appreciated.

    Hi Redknave,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

According to your description of the computer hardware is not at all a problem for the delay. This could happen because of the substantive application sometimes. You can check by putting the computer start-up in minimal mode and whether the background application is initially delayed.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

The steps to perform a clean boot are given below:

1 log on to the computer using an account with administrator rights

    2. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all

Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use with existing restore points system restore utility

Once you start office check if the problem persists, follow the steps in the article and find out which program is causing the problem.

For more information about the clean boot, follow the below given link:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart

A clean install is always a good option if you have doubts about the operating system. Check if there is any lag in the entrance before installing any third-party application.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • New iMac, retina - problem with the mouse in Windows 10

Hello - I have received yesterday my new iMac of retina and transferred the VM Fusion with all the new Mac tips. Everything has gone well so far, but after setting the parameters for the new options of the retina, the mouse doesn't use VM Ware Tools. I reinstalled the tools, but I had no change. Yet the mouse is slow and I cannot leave the window of Fusion as it used to be. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks MK

    Please, try the following steps:

    1. remove the existing tools of the VM of the Panel--> uninstall a program

    2. restart your virtual machine and install the VM tools grouped.

    3. If the problem persists, make sure that the preference of mouse in VMware Fusion--> preferences--> game is NOT set to 'always optimize the mouse for games'

    Kind regards
