  I just bought a Logitech G930 wireless mouse to use in my mmo games. The mouse has 13 programmable buttons and I use most of them to bind the different tricks to use in games.

  However, when using a few things related to CTRL-1, 2 and 3, it does not work as I intended. When you press the makro and bind for CTRL-1, for example, I am thrown out of the game and face the screen to change windows. CTRL-2 set up a Web page, Google search in my case. The desired function is not the case in the game at all.

  I tried to find a way to disable shortcuts in windows vista, but only to find instructions on how to disable those using the Windows key.

  It seems to me that you're referring to press the mouse wheel. It is a function of your mouse wheel. To turn it off, simply press the wheel again and it disables the option.

  No, the mouse pointer is not displayed, unless a pointing without touchscreen device is used.  If you use your finger, the mouse pointer is not drawn.

  Unlike the old operating systems (like Windows 7) who simply moved the slider and sent false "clicks" when you used the key, the touch system of Windows 8 is designed to work like that on the iPhone or Android: there is no cursor when you use the key (not even an invisible backstage).

  Please, try the following steps:

  1. remove the existing tools of the VM of the Panel--> uninstall a program

  2. restart your virtual machine and install the VM tools grouped.

  3. If the problem persists, make sure that the preference of mouse in VMware Fusion--> preferences--> game is NOT set to 'always optimize the mouse for games'

  After installing Wiindows 10, my pointer or mouse freezes or stops for a few seconds before it can be committed. I read a post on the HP forums who suggested to install the updated driver. My computer preparing to receive automatic updates and States that there is no new update to install. I have seen and tried several suggestions on the internet, but nothing has worked to resolve this issue. I don't know why it was necessary to upgrade to 10 Windows when Windows 7 has been working very well. For my use, this problem is almost dibilitating.   1. the complete model number and your notebook dv7 series Nr - you can usually get this by holding down the fn key and pressing ESC, or see here for a guide to the location of such information.

  2. the pointer seems to freeze at random, or after a specific action (ie using the keyboard)?

  It depends on what program you are trying to copy and paste into.  You are able to select continuous, multiple lines, by using the Ctrl Key and clicking, or by highlighting the desired line.  For example, I held the Ctrl key and then, using the mouse, has highlighted several different phrases in the various paragraphs, and could then copy them.  This feature is available for several versions of windows.
  If you are not able to perform this action then post what happens when you try and what program you try it.

  I'm using a windows 7 64 Bit OS. My mouse has stopped working on a few pop - up screens.

  Steps to reproduce:
  Start > Control Panel > program > Java > a pop up appears and my mouse does not work on it.

  This is just one example.

  The same happens when I use Oracle EBS. The mouse does not work on the pop-up forms of oracle.
