Both functions can call each other?

I'm convert code and you ran into two functions which call each other. While I seems to have converted the two functions in plsql ok, they compile, apparently because they Ref each other. As soon as I get off referring to a call from one function to the other function, they both compile.

I know that Oracle 10 g supports recursion; and on the surface of things, this situation is not very different from the recursion. If the two functions are correct, I would hope they would compile.

I couldn't find a good part by searching the forums on this topic... but I hope that someone will have some info on this issue.

Hello

It must be something of that order. You and others have suggested creating a package. I never did it. Can I put all my functions in a single package, including the two who call each other, or should I put both functions in two separate package in order to avoid the same problem?

You probably want to put the two functions which call each other in a single package, but you probably don't want to put each of the functions you have already written in a single package.

Usually, a package contains some logical grouping of procedures that call each other or dealing with the problems of the same nature. When you call a procedure in a package, the entire package is loaded into memory.

For example, I have a package called pk_dt that does various things on the dates (for example, if a specific date is a public holiday). Some functions in this package call others in the package, some do not, but I put them in the same package because I predict that any job that calls one has a good chance of the call to the other.

The permissions are another thing to consider when you bundle procedures in packages.

    You should be able to share files between Windows 8 and Windows 7 very well.

  • All network devices can see each other + Windows 7 computer, but machine Windows 7 can not see them

    Hello. Under the network of my machine Windows 8 folder, I can see all the devices on the network. This includes a printer, my computer Windows 7 (what I can access), an Apple TV (from special software), a wireless hard drive, the router and a digital recorder.

    The Windows 7 machine, I can only see the router and the printer. On special software, the Apple TV does not either. When you perform the Windows 8 computer host as a server for the special software, the Windows 7 machine could not see it on the special software. This means that there is something wrong on the Windows 7 this machine is not allowing him to detect other devices.

    In a game of LAN, Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers can't see each other.

    All devices are on the internet and I am posting this from the Windows 7 machine right now.

    Windows 7 and Windows 8 machine are on the same network.

    No device is on a host group and the group home service is disabled.

    Peer networking is enabled.

    Network discovery is turned on.

    Both connections are set to private/Home.

    Originally, the Windows 7 machine has been on his own home group and could be seen by anything. After a few hours, I finally got out of the home group, how other devices could see him then. However, he cannot always see other devices.

    How can I get the Windows 7 machine to see other devices? I am at a loss. Is there a service that I have disabled right now that needs to be enabled? I don't know what to do.

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

    Disable the security software and check.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

    Warning: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. • SG500 layer 3 - VLAN can see each other devices Vlan9 <>- Vlan13

    Hi all!

    I guess I'm missing something simple here:

    Basic configuration: two SG500 stacked switches in layer mode 3 who should do the routing. LANCOM WLC with access Internet COOL tied up in the trunk.

    As for my understanding, I wouldn't be able to see Vlan13 of Vlan9 devices. But unfortunately, I don't have.

    Any help is appreciated. Thank you!!!

    The VLAN intercommunicates is because you have an IP address on the interface VLAN that will dynamically build a route on the switch.

    As noted below, if you want to VLAN 9 to not see 13 or vice versa and ACL will be needed on the interface VLAN.

  • Comments and host OS can ping each other; but all the other hosts on the same subnet cannot ping guest OS

    I use Bridge network. I tried to delete and recreate the NIC (did not help). I've upgraded to the latest version of VMware Server (20.0.0 build 122589) with the same result. Stub here. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

    What is your host and guest operating system? Are WHAT NIC configured correctly (IP, DNS, gateway, etc.).

  • How can I stop my iPhone and the iPhone and my wife to keep each other recent call logs?

    On my iphone and on my wife's iPhone, you can find each other's recent call history.

    It's new. Since the beginning of the iPhone, we have synchronised calendars and contacts, but never synchronized "recent call" logs.

    How can prevent us this?

    We are both using the latest iOS on our iPhone 5s

    Steve

    You are both sharing the same Apple ID? If one of you should obtain and use a different ID to Apple. Apple ID are not intended to be shared between different users.

    You can then share apps, etc. by using the share of the family.

  • Cluster nodes cannot ping each other

    Hello

    I recently put one of our old clusters online it's a server poweredge 1855. I work at 5 knots, and there a PowerConnect 5316 M switch on the back. 5316M has only 1 cable connecting the switch to uplink.

    Each blade has 2 NIC one of them is a NIC, with a normal IP on our range of normal production. All blades can ping this address each other, and they all have internet.

    The other NETWORK adapter is what I use for live migration, or pulsation of cluster or something... Whatever it is, it has a different range with no gateway (172.50.1.x)

    Now 3 of the blades can all ping eachother, but not the other 2. And 2 that can not ping, can ping each other. It seems that the 2 are on the same VLAN, and the other 3 are on the same VLAN.

    The problem I have, is the switch shows them all on the VLAN by default... and one thing that I can't work... If the servers all have 2 network cards, but there are only 10 ports on the internal switch?... so, how can I set or the other card NETWORK on one VLAN different?

    Module e/s 1 goes to port 1 and i/o 2 module goes to port 2 of the LOM standard.

    It is therefore useful to check what ports are used by the server. If the 3 are on port 1 and then the other 2 are on port 2, try to get all the 172.50.1.x addresses assigned to port 2 for example.

    I have a 6 s with Verizon iPhone. Can I send/receive calls (using this service and calls on other devices functionality) on my iPhone 5s, who was with AT & T service, but has no service now since I switched to Verizon?

    Note: I'm able to get two phones to ring with an incoming call, but the 5s consist not out. Whenever I dial a number, it says call failed.

    Do not dial a number. Try to choose a contact in the contacts App and tapping on telephone button.

    That said, I don't think that outgoing calls work on continuity since another iPhone. given that the iphone is designed to make calls through its own service.

    Document to support that you just did not mention calls from a secondary iPhone at all, it points to Mac, iPad and iPod touch, which leads me to believe that it won't work.

    It runs from devices such as iPads and Macs, who have no other way to place a cell call.

  • I have two computers in Windows 7 which will not each other on my network. All other computers will see and can share files, but they connect between them.

    My HP laptop has installed Win7 Ult, the Fujitus Win7 Pro.

    Both computers were sharing the files back, outside a residential group, for a period of time. One day, they are stopped. No changes have been made to computers. I tried a restore of the system on each of them, and it did not help. I re windows loaded on the HP and that did not help. I don't think that it is only a permission of the questions that I used a windows machine 7 third to map actions to each of the individual laptops using their respective IDs. I can transfer files from one of them the "machine in the middle", then the action of the other, or as a copy/paste between them directly.

    WSD and NetBT will not solve one machine for others, but all other computers on the network will dispay on each machine. Only, they refuse to see each other. I have disabled the firewall. Password protected sharing, ensured that all netbios in the registry settings are correct. Pings between them are inaccessible returnded.

    Thank you!

    Hi Jonathan,.

    I see that you two computers on the network cannot see each other. I'll help you with this problem.

    1. don't you make changes to the computers?

    2 are computers on a domain network?

    3. do you have a router connected to these computers?

    Method 1:

    Open the HomeGroup troubleshooter

    Method 2.

    Make sure that the following services are enabled on the computer.

    (a) click Start, type "services.msc" in the search and click on services. Verify that these services are enabled:

    -TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service

    -DNS Client

    -Function Discovery Resource Publication

    -SSDP Discovery

    -UPnP device host

    To start the service and set it to automatic, follow these steps:

    (b) right click on each of the services listed above and click Properties.

    (c) click the general tab, and then, next to startup type, select automatic.

    (d) click on apply and then click Start.

  • My 2 daughters have itouch, as well on my account even apple. How can I activate them text each other.

    My doughters each have an Itouch. They want the other text, but they are both the same account. How can I enable them to trxt each other.

    Every girl needs their own Apple ID to send and receive messages independently. Apple intends that Apple ID (account) to an individual and not shared like you girl make. Two people who share the same ID will cause all sorts of problems as you discover.

    However, family sharing allows people within the same family (up to 6 members or Apple ID) for share purchases such as applications, videos, and music. Separate IDs Apple will allow each girl to adapt their content to the individual, who will play an important role with the child earlier than later. You can access most content another has purchased. Implement the family share - Apple Support

    With current Apple ID shared as a member of a family separated, each girl and you can download their favorite of this shared ID content. The idea is that each family member has their own tastes and can't do everything Captain ID contains. Still with the family sharing, if family members want to share, everyone can access the other content. Following this concept, when the child is ready to enter the world on their own and start their own family, they can take their music with them. Let therefore the current shared Apple ID where over time. Over time that it potentially becomes a monster, everyone has a hard time to get in their stuff. Also there is no privacy in the shared ID of Apple. It may be important for a growing family, which does not necessarily have a common knowledge of the interests of each other.

    For share purchases between members of the family:

    iTunes Store

    When logged into your own app and iTunes store Apple ID, app in iTunes Store on iDevice to iOS device you want to add content too, choose lower right of the screen > bought > family member to choose who bought item > select type of purchase > choose element > click cloud with down arrow to add feature, Member of the family of shopping.

    App Store

    When you are logged in your own App store and iTunes Apple ID, in App Store app on iDevice to iOS device you want to add an application, a member of the family bought (including the master Apple ID), choose updates from the lower right corner > bought high > choose member of the family who purchased the app, app to find in the list and click on Free or cloud with down arrow icon.

  • How can I draw dynamic data that I get a hardware DAQ against each other?

    Hi all

    I am trying to acquire voltage and current data of DAQ hardware. My goal is plotted against votlagein current a continuous path. As the votlage is increased at intervals of 1 Volt, every second I want to see how the current. However, this data is dynamic and I need help find how to draw in a single chart. Any thoughts on how to draw the two different dynamic data against each other in the same graph?

    You help will be very appreciated.

    Thank you

    If I understand what you're saying, looks like you want to have the update of XY graph with each new data point (or points) acquired, but also choose to keep the previous data on the XY graph. If that's what you're after, I build on my previous example. For the method of use of the express VI build XY graph, you can simply double click on it and uncheck the "erase data on each call. For the other method of construction of the dashboard cluster, you will need to add a few records to offset to maintain the previous itterations table values. Here's the updated image:

  • How can I get lines to work alongside the other instead of below each other

    Hi, I am a complete novice with limited technical capacity and try to learn the bootstrap, I want a provision which consists of a large image or movie to the left of the page and a few rows of images in front of the right. Is it possible to put the lines next to each other instead of below the other? I have sort of this successful using the tag ASIDE on a line, but am unsure if this will cause problems when the site is published. Also is it possible to place an image or a text on the greyed out the column when he has been compensated? Any help would be received with gratitude by the beginner difficulty

    If you are a perfect beginner with limited technical capacity, Bootstrap is not a good place to start. To work properly with Bootstrap, you need a pretty good knowledge of HTML and CSS.

    That said, to answer your questions:

    • No, you cannot "bootstrap" rows side by side. The question of a line, it's that it spans the entire width of its container. However, you can nest rows within a column. You can do one of the reasons are a top element on one side of the page with two or more lines of smaller elements on the right.
    • No, you can't put anything into space alongside a column that was offset. The idea of compensation is to leave space on the left flank.

    If you have a subscription to lynda.com, you can learn much more about the use of bootstrap in Dreamweaver CM³. I have published a course called Responsive Design with Bootstrap and Dreamweaver CC 2015. It is not free, but you can get a free 10-day trial (free trial version does not include the sample files).

  • Issue of school laboratory: setting IPs & VMnet1 so two computers can communicate with each other and to access the internet

    Hello ~

    This question has probably asked a million times in a way or another, but here's my specific: I'm a laboratory for school. I've set up two virtual servers (Windows Server 2012) in VMware Pro 12. The goal is to speak (see others). According to the instructions of the teacher, I set them up as follows:

    "Assign your appropriate servers of IP addresses based on your installation environment. For example, if your network environment uses the class C address range 192.168.1.x, assign a server IP 192.168.1.10, 255.255.255.0 subnet mask, a default gateway 192.168.1.1 and the other server IP 192.168.1.11, 255.255.255.0 subnet mask, a default gateway 192.168.1.1. Note: If these IP addresses will conflict with your internal network (provide your virtual machines with access to the internet), please choose a different set of address that will work for you. »

    I need to know what will work addresses. got a domain controller DC1. Now, I can't see each other. I can't connect to Internet via IE which is one of the 'evidence' that I'm supposed to provide.

    When I go to the Publisher, I see as the guest only parameter (how is it said to set up when you first install the VMs) is 198.162.150.0. I did not who, but I'm a little but I don't want to make things worse by changing things. I guess that's where the problem is, but I'm not sure what to put the IP, default subset mask and DNS for so I'm stuck.

    If it means anything, it is in fact on a borrowed laptop which is connected to the WiFi and wireless. The laptop has internet but I don't know how exactly bringing on the virtual machine when it come to be able to connect. I don't need to become an admin system; This is a compulsory course and I'm just trying to understand enough about it to pass. The problem is that other labs are constructed on it so I can't just ignore it.

    Any advice you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated. By the way, happy new year to you all.

    Sorry, yes it was a typo. It's supposed to be 192.168.150.xxx.

    Although the virtual machine must be able to communicate if they are both configured similarly (i.e. host only in this case), you generally EF IP addresses in the subnet host only for those virtual machines to be able to access it from the host, which - as mentioned earlier - should have an address of VMnet1 IP of 192.168.150.1.

  • How to reset a timer each time the function is called?

    Hello

    I have my code like below. The main function is called whenever the event occurs. The event occurs when I created a timer which occupies 10 seconds for display purposes.

    Once the Main() is called, a message appears and after 10 seconds, the message disappears.

    The problem I had met with this code is that the message does not last for 10 seconds when the Main() is called consecutively. For example; when its name for the second time within 10 seconds, the display will show for 6 seconds and maintain the reduction.

    Can someone help me with this problem and tell me what to do to reset the timer each time the Main() is called. I also used FeatureState_Timer.reset (), but it did not work.

    / * Declarations of global variables * /.

    public var FeatureState_Timer : timer = new Timer (10000);

    / * Global function * /.

    function Feature_Timer_Function(timerEvent:TimerEvent): void

    {

    Message.Visible = false;

    Feature_Timer. stop();

    }

    function Main(event:Event):void

    {

    FeatureState_Timer .addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, Feature_Timer_Function);

    FeatureState_Timer . Start();

    Message.Visible = true;

    }

    Thank you!!

    Try to reset the timer first:

    function Main(event:Event):void

    {

    FeatureState_Timer . Reset();

    FeatureState_Timer.start ();

    Message.Visible = true;

    }

    If this does not work, use the following code:

    function Main(event:Event):void

    {

    FeatureState_Timer = new Timer (10000);

    FeatureState_Timer.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, Feature_Timer_Function);

    FeatureState_Timer.start ();

    Message.Visible = true;

    }
