  I have some decent ALBPM6.0.5 experiences, and now I'm starting a new project using BPM 11g. I went to a 'Hands On', so Oracle 11g I know is VERY different from 10 g/ALBPM.
  
  My main problem is I can't find anywhere where are roles and users that are managed on the server. Where I administer roles, users, groups, organizational units. Everything that used to be in the process manager. How is that done today? I swear to you that I went through all the documentation at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/soa.htm and still nothing found :(
  
  In addition, now uses a required LDAP? Or something like ALBPM still usable directory?

  User/role management is now done through the workspace itself. You must connect as an administrative user (like weblogic) and you will see an Admin link in the upper right of the workspace.

  Search for authentication and the user is now managed directly by Weblogic - therefore configure you authentication providers in the field of security WLS via the administration console.

  By default, Weblogic is configured to use an internal LDAP which stores local users (this is where the user 'weblogic' itself is defined).

• Issue of parametric role

  We seek for one of our process using the Oracle BPM 10.3.1 automate. We have 5000 + users (in 1000 + units) who create original applications which are then submitted for approval. In the application of the workspace, we would like users to have access only to process instances that are created in their unit. Parametric roles are a good solution for this problem?
  
  Users will be connected to our portal and validated by the PSO (we intend to integrate our directory of users LDAP server BPM). The names of the units (ids) that can serve as a parameter for the role are stored in our database and because of the size and frequency of changes to the list, create a static copy in BPM doesn't seem to be a good idea. What is the best way to fill the list of values for the parameter of the role dynamically? How to bind the user to his name of the unit to enable filtering based on parameters?

  Hi Igor,.

  When you create parametric roles (groups) and assign them the participants through logic that they will persist in the Directory Service.

  If it is a simple installation of Oracle Enterprise BPM old vanilla and you use LDAP, role (Group) and the information for participants is stored in and read from LDAP.

  Now, go to help-> Check for update-> click on install to local file and provide the path of the zip file that you downloaded in the previous step.
  Finally restart the jdeveloper. You can now see the suite BPM and SOA suite in your application.

• Organization and parametric role

  I ve read helps BPM Studio and some threads in this forum and I can not yet understand this dynamic role thing.
  I understand a participant cannot normally particapate in the process instance which have been initiated by a participant in the different organizational unit, even if the role is valid.
  Is it possible to change roles which organization of the unit made the task, I am very skeptical that parametric role will solve this problem?
  
  Is there somewhere a good presentation of this role and dynamic organization thing?

  You get perfectly.
  1 - Yes, it's different Studio and company in this thing, in the Studio, the deployment is equivalent to "the root OR" in the company.
  2. - in the Studio, you do not have organizational units.
  3. - in the business, organizational units are managed in the deployment.
  Things that inflicts on the directory are usually in the side of the company, participants are not exported from the studio and the rest things (units of organization, roles, groups...) are usually mapped when you publish. And of course when you publish in company yo have several options when you deploy in the Studio (e.g. deploy to specific organizational units, you can select the engine qhere you deploy (in the studio, you have only one engine) and so on...)

  It's an interesting idea.  That particular path would have several reviews need to be really meaningful. To be really good at their jobs, data architects require a wide range of skills. The image below is a screenshot of a proposal from slideshare on the qualities required by a data architect and is the best example I could find.  The elements that it includes the themes (to a degree) in several existing reviews, but also several subjects not covered in any existing Oracle certification exam.  The DBA track, I would consider to be part of a potential architect data track (covering several topics "Data content" below).  The re-examination of the foundations of database covers most of the below data modeling section. In addition, reviews the performance of the database, security of database and Data Warehousing would be useful for an architect and are represented in many of the subjects in the image.

  I think that proof of the data architect might work as well as a 'bonus' credential to earn certifications for all exams/tracks mentioned above according to the new recently announced for MAA. Even better - the certifications above could be treated as pre-requisites and require additional specific data architect review to win certification expertise.

  Are there measures where I can solve my problem.

  However, I just noticed that the oracle site says 1z0-117 also said that v12 is also included for consideration:

  Unless you are looking for something I'm not, what actually is the 1Z0-117 page says: "validated against: review has been validated against Oracle Database 11g Release 2 version 11.2.0.1.0 and database Oracle 12 c 12.1.0.1.0"

  What they actually mean by it is that someone went through all the issues and and asked the question "is still a relevant issue for the release of 12 c to Oracle?'." "  If they find issues that are not valid because of an update/change, then the question will be removed from review (or changed) so that someone who has used 12 c but not 11 g will not at a disadvantage.

  This is * No * means that Oracle has added questions to the review of the capabilities that were introduced in version 12 c.

  This thread appears to be a bit confusing.  You try to delete the entry 'Window' menu or the bar together, which includes the Oracle logo?  If you try to remove the whole bar AND that you use the latest version of forms (11.1.2.2), you can use the new applet parameter guiMode.  This new feature of 11 GR 2 allows to hide the various window dressings.  See the Deployment Guide forms 11.1.2 for more details on how to use this new feature:
