• Time Machine does not work after update of the Sierra

  The time function machine my Mackbook Air 2011 stopped working... it has not been saved since update for Sierra, it only take screenshots every hour, it will perform a backup is no longer on my external HD as before.

  There is no problem with the way it is implemented or the hard drive, it's me that my iMac is working perfectly since the update for Sierra and it's backup via the time machine on the same hard disk.

  Update:-just so you know, time machine is to find the back up ok drive (external hard drive), it then goes to "preparing backup" and that's all, he remains in this preparation save the scene for centuries, after a while it just stops and it is saved all... nothing!

  I see you want to have the backlight when the iPhone loading and to listen podcasts.  I can understand wanting the backlight off all by performing other tasks on the iPhone, and I'm happy to help you.  You can turn off the backlight of the iPhone by pressing the on/standby button, and it does not interrupt load or reading.

• Can not see my own account after reboot

  After reboot I can only see the original user on my Mac + comments, but not the one I added.

  The original is my wife so if it connects inn, first of all, I'm able to move my user by logging out (users obtained all visible) or by selecting my self in the menu to the left of the projector users.

  Upgrade to 10.11.4 to see if there was a problem with 10.11.3 who was present when the account is added.

  It's annoying to sort of not finding your own account and I wonder what's wrong.

  Anyone with an idea?

  If you cannot connect to the original account on your MacBook Pro, looks that FileVault has been activated. It encrypts the bootable floppy and requires that the original to "unlock" before user other users can subscribe in their user accounts. I can see how that might be irritating in the circumstances, and I have a few suggestions to check the situation and helps connect you to your account a little more quickly.

• Change the G4 OS9 resolution without extensions

  I have an old G4 work but the screen is dead.  MacMall recommended the View Sonic VA1917a VGA display, but after it loads extensions the screen goes black and displays a box saying "OUT OF RANGE".  A search on the internet, said that it is a problem of resolution.  I rebooted in safe mode and everything but I can not change the resolution because the monitor control panel does not open in safe mode.  Any ideas on a way around this problem would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  You have most recent Mac (maybe the one you use for posting here)?  If you do, start the old iMac G4 in Safe Mode.  Go to the sharing System Preferences window and activate ON Apple Remote Desktop.  This iMac must also have a connection to your local network.  Then normally restart the iMac.

  NOTE: My description is for a Mac running Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4).  If it is under Leopard (10.5), get the thing can be called screen sharing.  If she runs a Mac OS earlier, I do not remember, and this is not possible.

  On the first Mac that is on the same local network, open a Finder window.  If the old iMac will appear in the side bar of the Finder window under shared, select it.  Then click on the share screen button to the right.   When I plugged my laptop on my amp I could hear strange noises ringing and a sharp wail, which changed when I moved the mouse and performed other actions on my computer. Like you, this has happened when the laptop was plugged. Don't know if you've already tried this, but I bought a "ground loop isolator' from Maplin Electronics, for about £10. You plug along the audio connection between the amp and the laptop. It has removed any interference and has not resulted in a noticeable loss of sound quality.

  We bought 5 of these laptops for our Engineering Department and I was against a tight schedule to get them deployed (the next day). I started working on obtaining a set of installation with the necessary software and then I just want to clone one for the other 5.

  I did a clean install of Windows 10 and installed all the drivers from the HP site. Then I ran Windows updates until everything is up-to-date. I disabled Windows Defender. Now all that remained was update the firmware BIOS, Intel ME and Thunderbolt using the downloaded utilities since the page drivers. The BIOS installed fine, but it's a really weird update process. Due to the beeps and lights blink during his work. There is no progress bar to let you know if she is doing anything. At some point, as the beeping stop but it's still really work. Then he starts and updates another part of the system and so on. Anyway, that everything worked fine. No problem with the update and Windows 10.

  So I ran the update of the Firmware of Thunderbolt and open up a command window saying that it couldn't find the controller. It looks like not there nothing after that point and just closed.

  Finally, I ran the Intel Management Engine firmware update utility. He opens a command window and says that it is loading the file and check and so on.   I asked the support agent if they knew why it happened, but they did not know.

  So, I got 4 portable more to work with. I took off the dead laptop SSD and put a charge in a brand new out of the box. Started by and on the desktop Windows 10. This laptop had BIOS v1.03 on this subject so I ran the BIOS updated and rebooted. All right. At this stage I myself asked to perform other upgrades of the firmware or not. I thought that I had a 50/50 chance and I'm the kind of person that simply be whether it was a fluke or if there really was something seriously wrong with the update of the Intel ME firmware. He ran while first instead of love at first sight to date. Update Intel did ME the same thing before, opened a window to order, checked and then flashed... and after a reboot I got another laptop dead.

  The Intel ME firmware update released on download of HP ZBook Studio G3 section was not compatible with these laptops and caused the laptop no longer starts.   Those who had run the update of the bad firmware and their laptop brick had to call the HP technical support to schedule a replacement motherboard on the spot.

  Go to the trash and use "Put" place files back where they belong. Time Machine is designed to remove automatically the old backup when it is full.

  I have no idea why this happened after trying to clean the keyboard, but perhaps some keyboard buttons are damage.
  The problem is that you can't remove/replace the simple buttons and it seems that you need to replace the entire keyboard.

  If your screen is displayed correctly on an external monitor, then it indicates that your chip graohics still work correctly, then you the problem must be with the LCD itself, the FL inverter or the connecting cable to the main Board. I would recommend that you contact an authorized Service partner who can perform other tests to diagnose the fault.

If that does not work, the next thing that happens is that your Mac will automatically reduce its processor demand so that it produces less heat which must be dissipated. If this still fails to keep temperatures limits, the Mac will just stopped on its own. Excessive dust should be removed, but it is better to have Apple or a FSAA do, due to the high probability of damage should you decide to do this yourself.

  I use a block of connection of the SCB-68 (R series). The amplifier output signal (see attachment) is connected to the AI + and HAVE pine trees (68 # and #34).

  I added a resistance 100kOhm between HAVE + and I-ground and ground - HAVE and HAVE. It seems to work. Interestingly even resistance 100kOhm between HAVE + and HAVE ground seems to be enough...
