  Right after that I posted this problem it seemed the solution:
  I noticed a pop-up, named "BROWSERSAFEGUARD" who has attempted to set my computer to a "cleaner" for a price. I checked in my installed programs if there was a "Browsersafeguard" and he was there. I uninstalled it, check "incompatible with my system" and my computer turned on like never before. Lightning fast connections and no message more "this connection is not approved. Wow. So if I use HDD recovery can I turn into 64-bit while I would have no problem switch to win7 64-bit?

  The chipset can handle this, but there might be a limitation of the BIOS, which means that the BIOS recognise no more RAM. In the worst case your laptop wouldn't boot.
  I m not very well if the BIOS can handle more than 4 GB of RAM, you should test it I m very interesting on the results

  Why do you want a Vista upgrade to Windows 7?
  You can do a fresh install of Windows 7. In my opinion, it's a better option, and this will help to avoid some compatibility issues with Vista preinstalled applications.

  I have a Dell Inspiron 19. The Dell of Dell diagnostics disk utilities & drivers say all right. It is a Seagate 320 GB drive. I installed the drive on another computer and used sea tools to erase the disc.  Then I created a partition and marked as "bootable".

  When I try to use the Dell reinstallation DVD Windows 7 Home premium SP1 64-bit, it crashes when is about to display the windows logo.  A few pixels logo show and then it's there.  Any ideas?  I worked on it for several days.  Really a "stumper" for me and I did something like that for years!

  Original problem seems to be a massive viral infection (owner had no active antivirus software installation!) which led to the non-bootable computer.  After working on this for a while, I decided to just do again it.

  It's an old printer and there was only the 32-bit drivers for Windows 98 to Vista. Canon are unlikely to write 64-bit drivers now.

  Please reset the Bridge preferences and then try it.

  Measures

  Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

  Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.

  Yes. Bridge is still 32 bits for maximum compatibility with other programs that use it (which extends well beyond the PS).
