  After 4 months of trying to figure out what adobe Illustrator still does not work. It crashes when I try to click on a file or when I try to open a new.   It's a dll file error. I suggest you uninstall the program, do a clean boot system, reinstall the original software, then lately install the automatic desktop software.

  CS6 bridge crash when opening any file with a GIF in it for me too. I disabled all the scripts in the preferences, and it crashed is no longer. Then I activated the scripts one at a time and tested the behavior. Bridge not crash each time. When all the scripts have been activated, he has not yet crash.
