Bridged Networking - Comments don't see host; See everything
I'm under Ubunty 10.04 as a guest on desktop Windows 7 x 64 using VMWare Workstation 7.1.
My network is configured as Bridged (VMNet0), and I have disabled VMNet1 and VMNet8 devices just to make sure that they don't accidentally interfere.
The host can ping the guest by IP and get exposed by the guest ports. It is ok. The host can also get to other hosts, local and internet addresses.
The customer can get to other hosts, local and internet addresses. However, he cannot get host (by IP or name, although only of intellectual property issues).
Address 192.168.1.103, the host is assigned by the DHCP server on the local network. the 192.168.1.109 prompt.
Here are the details of host networking:
The host has a few network cards installed:
-Wireless generally (in use and use in this case)
-Wired (sometimes in use, don't use it in this case)
-VPN (not using it right now)
-WLAN (not using it right now)
In addition, the Windows Teredo tunneling ipv6 stuff and whatnot. Seems you can't throw a rock here without hitting another virtual network card these days :-/

I installed the VMWare Additions on the guest.
I need for the guest to see the host (and, more specifically, the services on ports exposed on the host), the host, see comments. How to make that happen?
You can use "bridged", no need to use custom. It is a good practice to change the automatic bypass for VMnet0 at a fixed adapter as you.
Change it to bridged, now and the status report.

Try to install this printer. It works via USB, but when I get to the step of configuring wireless and you're
said to unplug the USB cable, it gives me the following, not accessible DEVICE... The network configuration has been correctly transferred to the device. However, to continue to configure the network device, your Mac must have access to the device. So please make sure that your Mac has access to the network: "mynetwork" and try again.
The printer is on the network end def (I can ping ok), but the MAC can not see wireless and wont print. I've seen a few threads with similar issues and they suggest wiring the IP address in the printer setup process, but that does not work for me either. Very frustrating, any help would be great
It could be disregarded in charge of your router BT of Hello.
Let's try present first, if:
1 reboot the router to BT by pulling its plug momentarily.

I see the value of bit depth (8-16-32) for the PSD but when I generate a .png32 that this value does not appear on the Bridge Panel file properties; I check on Panel detail of Windows image viewer and it says 32 bit. Thanks for your help!
Hi iolnation,
No, Bridge does not show the depth of bits for PNG files. You may apply for a feature on the link below, telling them why it is important for you to see the depth of bit for PNG in Bridge. I'm all for anything that will affect better PNG.

Cannot access the internet with bridged network - Windows 7 64 bit host, XPSP3 comments
I use VMPlayer v3.0.1 build-227600 on a PC under Windows 7 64-bit. My guest operating system is Windows XP Professional w/SP3.
I read all the messages on the use of NAT for the guest operating system can access the internet. But when I do that my guest is unable to access my Oracle server on my network. If I use Bridged my guest can access my Oracle server, but it cannot access the internet! How can I fix it? Shouldn't VMPlayer allow the guest OS to access the network and the internet? I need these two features.
Any help would be appreciated.
the simplest solution would be to add a second NIC to your comments, so that you can have bridged and NAT at the same time

I use CS6 and created my first website in very rough just to make sure I can successfully download files in my Web site to the remote server... I downloaded the files to my web free hosting service, Network Solutionswhere I can see that the files have been downloaded in fact. However, when I go to my actual website I get a 403 error message and don't see any of the images that I downloaded. I know I'm brand new to this, so I must have done something wrong, but I have no idea what. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Ben:
Yes, it seems to work now. I just threw these images in the header and created the FG Divs just to see if they go on my site of budding. Now that it finally works, I'm excited and ready to decide how I actually want the site to look at.
Well, I don't know what I did wrong before but the connection of Test with Network Solutions did not work while using the same information that I was able to connect using FileZilla. After I finally got the connection test work, Web site files have been downloaded from CS6 but do not appear on the Web site. Somehow, I solved the problem but I don't really know how.
Thanks a lot for the encouragement. I enjoyed the comments you and Nancy.

Click Start--> go in run and paste the following entry: %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc
You now see the hosts file?If this is not the case, try this:1. click on start go to run-->2. tap------(literally just a------and nothing else)3. press on enter4. click on Tools--> folder--> view options5. make sure that a small black dot appears next to 'display files and folders '.6. scroll down for 'show hidden files and folders' and remove the checkbox from "Hide protected files (recommended) operating system.7. click on 'yes '.8. click on 'Ok '.9. click on start--> go in run and paste the following entry: %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etcIf you * see the hosts file now, right-click on it and make sure that there is no check mark 'read only' and 'hidden' boxes... If they are verified, then remove the check.Note: you should not have to perform steps 1 through 8 to view the hosts file; the hosts file is visible even with these settings, the default value (for example, when files are hidden you should always see the hosts file), but you may have a spyware infection that has tried the hide and prevent changes in the host file (to prevent you from making corrections in the file which made spyware)assuming that you have made any customizations to this file, it should appear as the default value listed in this Microsoft article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034If it looks not to the default file listed at this URL, then you can recreate the file by using the templates included in this document KB -

I just downloaded Bridge and Photoshop. I don't see the RAW files in Bridge.
Hello!
Is Photoshop (tell us the version) upward to date?
You may need to get a new version of Camera Raw that supports your camera files (only one?) outputs.
It lists the minimum version you need: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

Hey guys, wondering that if you can help me with this, I've upgraded to windows 10 and have this annoying issue in vmware workstation 11
I want to VMnet2 only use my MIFI wifi and not my regular internet so I went to the virtual network editor like I did before and added vmnet2 but when I check the box for height to select the wifi it says "can't change network to not bridged there is no host not bridged network adapters" which has left me speechless >. <
Just a guess. Check vmnet0 (default bridged network) to see if it uses a dedicated, network adapter or is it still set to automatic.

Network with UMTS card on host bridge
Hello
I'm testing the latest vmware workstation on windows xp sp3. The guest operating system is win xp sp3. To connect my host to the internet, I use my UMTS card. For the comment system, I need network bridge due to a separate IP address in the guest computer. After starting the virtual machine (my host is to connect to the internet via my UMTS card, I get the message: "the network interface on the VMNet0 device is dow because the bridged Ethernet Interface is...) ». If I connect my host via a cable network or WIFI to internet, everything works fine.
How is it possible to connect my system of comments through 'bridge' to the internet?
Thank you
Joerg
I don't know if I understand your problem. Your host is connected via UMTS and receives a public ip address. You try to connect to your comments via the bridge, which means also there need a public ip address, but UMTS only serve one of them (this is normal). Therefore, you must use NAT for your comments, so that your host and your guest use the same public ip address.

Satellite M70-340: I don't see that the DVD absolutely menu Cup after reinstalling
Hello
I recently bought Toshiba M70 - 340 2 weeks. Now I learn that it is better Toshiba comparing the My.
My question is that I don't see on the screen the DVD absolutely cut menu. First time when I opened it it was on the Ra±ght referring
of the screen and my machine was Turkish Win XP Home edition. I have reformat and changes in the English version of Windows XP that accompanies it in Toshiba Recovery CD. But I lost the menu screen for the DVD I guess. A± now don't know how to reinstall this option. In addition, my machine is using the Intel Centrino 1.7, but I don't know if it is a two-way process. Second, the ram is 512 MB and I'm looking to buy 2 GB ram extened but seems still very very expensive (around $1100) why is that 2 GB of ram so expensive?
I am using my laptop for software engineering but also using Macromedia flash and Adobe Photoshop.
The application and MS VS.NET 2005 as long as SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 to the application is very slow and sometimes it takes more than 30
min. compile or open it.I have my home PC P4 3.2 G with 1 GB of ram and it is faster than my Toshibe laptop.
Be honest with me, after a 5 years later, I bought my second computer laptop and everything first a laptop from a different manufacture.
I'm looking on the internet and I find the M70-340 with Turkish Q keyboard was the best option and it cost me $1450.All I need to know how to overcome my problem and I need a Toshiba to explained to me carefully.
Can someone read my post and answer my question and concerns?Thank you very much and I look forward to receiving help.
Kind regards
NTMS2006Hello
I don t want to disappoint you, but please don t wait for someone from Toshiba will write to you because it comes to the forum user. I will try to write a few comments because I have the same unit as you.
This DVD shortcut is really not understandable for me and I really put t know what you are writing about. If the DVD drive is recognized and installed correctly, it should be listed in the Device Manager and also shown in Windows Explorer. If you want to launch about it please describe the exact location of the DVD drive in Device Manager and Windows Explorer.
You're right about the memory. This laptop comes with 512 MB of Ram. According to the specifications of the laptop can handle max with 2 GB of Ram and if you want to use max please use 2x1GB module. Is compatible DDR2 400/533 1 GB (PA3411U-1M1G).
2 GB modules are the latest and newest is very expensive. I put t know how much it can cost but certainly not around $1100. With this money, you can buy the laptop integer.
The list of the used software is impressive and not wonder if the laptop is running slowly. Upgrade of Ram max and it will be much faster. Please don't compare your office with this mobile unit.
Pick up the news how much memory costs PA3411U-1M1G module and two of them use for RAM max. You will see that unit will go faster and I hope that you will be satisfied with the performance.
Good day!

I have House part for my iPhone and apple TV, but the iPhone libraries are not listed under computers on Apple TV. I don't see libraries for my Mac. I use the same identifier apple through the three devices. I have an iPhone 6 more working 9.0. The devices are all on the same home network running.
You can't share a library that is located on an iPhone, iPod or iPad with other devices. You can only share a library that is located on a Mac or a PC with other devices. On other devices, iPhone, iPod and iPad for example, you then activate home sharing to connect to the shared library.

I Don t see a button on the remote control to the top of the iTunes window
I m trying to use the Remote app in my Apple Watch but I Don t see a button on the remote control to the top of the iTunes window to fit with my music library
Hello
The button on the remote control will appear in iTunes once you have tapped on the device to add within the Remote on Apple Watch app. Note that your computer and the watch must be connected to the same Wi - Fi network.
In iTunes 12 and, later, the remote control button is located to the upper left, under the Volume slider. In iTunes 11 and earlier versions, the remote control is at the top right, under the search box.

I don't see the link to the engineering of Netgear XWNB5201 units for my Mac?
I don't see the link to the engineering of Netgear XWNB5201 units for my Mac?
I thought that this establishment should be simple, plug-and-play as such.
The security on the access point button is not very good. I think that this will be returned for a refund
Netgear equipment is now packed ready to mail to perceive as I spent quite long try to put equipment which is completely lost time.
I am disappointed with the Netgear site for support when you follow the instructions in the manual and connect, I see is complaints and comments and no solutions. The site is in my opinion, very poorly built and managed.
As solution I just ordered Devolo units that have been strongly recommended and will be with me in a few hours, and my Netgear headache will be resolved.

Outlook Express email - I don't see any of my previous emails.
I recently has my email data (identities) shifted from my c external hard disk drive. When I turned on my computer I don't see none of my previous emails.
All files are stored in the external hard drive with extension.dbx
Can help you.
If you have disconnected the drive, then OE couldn't find the message store, so he created a new message store in the default location on the C drive. What you can try to do, is hook the player up and DO NOT change the location of the message store in OE - if you do, then he will wipe away what is on the disk. Instead, go to file | Import | Messages in OE and choose to import from a directory and not an identity, and then point to the dbx on the external hard drive file directory. OE will be and then import them into the new directory of the message store that he set up on the C drive. If the import fails, you can import individual dbx (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#imp1) or manually extract the messages from the dbx (www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/) files.
In the future, do not use an external drive that is not always connected, because it causes problems that you encounter. The same is true if you attempt to use a network location for the OE message store.
