  Somewhere along the line I lost access to my Windows Vista's Aero theme and I can't use it, and my computer is stuck in classic Windows.
  I tried all of this, going to msconfig and making themes is checked, will the advanced properties and my computer to improve the appearance and other obvious fixes.
  When I right click on the desktop and go to themes and appearance, I can click on the Windows Vista theme, etc., but the taskbar and everything else remains to classic Windows.

  I read as a fix to this would be to re-install/repair the operating system by using the original disk.  However, I don't want to lose all my files.  I had to pass by too many reformatings in a few years.

  Additional info: I used the theme editing programs such as Vista Glazz and changed my theme before, and I am sure that it is the cause of the problem that it has probably changed some important files.

  The application used ("VistaGlazz") fixes certain theme dll to allow users to apply custom themes. See if run the System File Checker restores the original dll.

  I recorded my own music on several cd (using a computer with XP). I took these CDs and I snatched a few pieces in Win Media Player (on a more recent with Win 7 laptop) so I could do a "best of" disc type. I made 2 of them before. There is no right of media since I recorded this music and I have already burned 2 CDs of this same music on this same computer. Why they were so short?

  You cannot, if it is, the security protection would be worthless.  It would be like cracking after a password.  It's a shame, I know, but you will need to copy the files again without any protection applied.

  If you want to select a particular folder, see the following steps.

  To start to choose this that you want to synchronize.

  FWIW... Regardless of what I or someone else
  you... the best bet is to maintain up-to-date backups 'Always'
  of * all * your files, photos, documents, ect...
  external media. (Personally I archive 'all' of my personal files)
  on two different external hard drives and data DVDs)

  First... If you have Picasa or photo library open when
  you go to your pictures folder and try renaming a
  folder... the warning could be because these same files
  are being accessed in Picasa and photo gallery.

  You do not have three locations of photo storage... Photo
  Gallery and Picasa are simply a photo viewers / editors.

  Copies of your photos are not archived in these applications.

  And... one or two programs to uninstall does not remove
  your photos that you have saved in your folder images/s.

  Your actual photos would be stored on your hard drive...
  more than likely in your... Pictures folder or other folders
  of your choice.

  However... Photo gallery maintains an exclusive file
  that contains the original versions of your files that have changed for the
  goal to return to the unedited version.

  If there is no chance you would like to return to your
  versions to the original edition, you can remove the
  files in the original Images folder.

  in Windows 7, you can find the original image folder to the
  following path:

  C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
  Photos of Gallery\Original

  By 'upgrade', what you're speaking of?

  Windows 8 for Windows 8.1?

  Windows 8.1 for Windows 10?

  In any case, you * don't *-however, something can and probably will happen not doing a full image backup just before changing throughout the operating system would be, at best, careless.

  Also - if you mean Windows 8.1 for Windows 10: do not trust a single scan or test to tell you whether or not the upgrade will be successful.  You should check with the manufacturer of each product (hardware and software) to ensure that support them (the real manufacturers of real products in question) is in place for the newer operating system.

  I have problems with the synchronization of files up to the cloud. In the desktop application it is written "all files updated", but in the folder, none of the files have green ticks. Research on the web app, it seems that the files are not updated.

  I'm on a macbook pro in yosemite.

  I had a quick glance at the forums and other messages but no direct assistance would be much appreciated.

  I rebooted my computer, restart the application office cc, disconnected and back again, but for the moment nothing has worked.

  I'm sorry that you get at least a perfect experience and feel us your pain.  There is something, you can try:

  1. Make a backup of your file to create Cloud Files to another location on your desktop
  2. In the activity stop monitor the following processes:
     1. Creative cloud
     2. Service Office of Adobe
     3. CCLibrary
     4. CoreSync
  3. In terminal, navigate as follows: cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync
  4. Delete the following files:
     1. .DB
     2. .DB - shm
     3. .DB - wal
  5. Restart the creative cloud

• Major problem. Synchronization of files and fonts does not!

  We are in the middle of a production of big book of 250 pages and files are not in the CC Panel.

  I deleted the content of OOBE and downloaded the latest CC app on my iMac.

  Problem just started yesterday. (I think)

  I found a solution to my problem of synchronization in the iMac

  In the Library/Preferences/com.adobe.accmac.plist, rename or delete this file.

  I got an instant response and synchronization of files and fonts works. But there is no checkmark in the synchronized files folder, but I can live with that.

• Problems to recreate the synchronization information files

  I had a problem to sync the files in Dreamweaver (Version 12.0 Build 5808). I disabled the program "maintain synchronication info" in my site, closed and then re-enabled the option definition. Now, Dreamweaver will not recreate the XML files with the synchronization information. Even if I manually push my entire local site to remove, it will not recreate the files. Any suggestions on how I can get Dreamweaver to rebuild the synchronization information files?

  The problem seems to have resolved itself. It seems that there is a short period of time (i.e. minutes) in writing the dwsync.xml file. I don't know if this has to do with the size of my site (files ~ 100K) or not, but finally the synchronization files began to show.  I just had to be patient.
