  I was invited to move to Firefox 40 today, and as soon as I did, I started to have problems with video playback on YouTube and various other sites. The video has been slow, the sound is distorted. I have the latest version of Flash installed. Everything worked perfectly before the upgrade.

  Just to see, I went down to Firefox 39.0.3 and playback problems disappeared. So needless to say, I will not be upgrading anytime soon. Is this likely a Firefox problem, a problem of Flash, a problem with my computer? I am running Windows XP. Any help, thoughts would be appreciated.

• Camelio S10 HD video playback problem

  I looked at all the other issues first, honest! I purchesed my shiny new camelio S10 and it works perfectly, bar when I try to play videos filmed in HD on my pc. Ive tried the following alternatives

  1 not hd, version 4 star, works very well
  2 playback on the real camera is perfect for hd and non hd
  3 ive tried using the supplied software, quicktime and one other player called dirx
  4 ive tried all above on another computer

  None solves the problem of the HD video being dried after about 4 seconds, regardless of the size of the file, and then it just jams and plays the odd field, which remains frozen on screen HD perfect but used to move

  Any help would be really appreciated.

  anyone any clues at all to this? would be really helpful, thank you

• music playback problem

  I use bike g 2014 dual sim. Whenever I'm playing music and let the idle phone, playback stops automatically and after a pause of 15-20 seconds... Resumes itself... This happens also with Google playing music and many other players. the same with the rocket reader are file manager experienced too.

• 16-bit playback problem

  Hi all

  I'm having a problem with the reading of a 16-bit image using labview. The story is that I record 16-bit images with labview BUT subtract the value of the lowest gray before record (i.e..-32768). Thus, the new range of grayscale is 0-65 536 instead of 32768 to 32767. So far so good, the problem occurs during playback of images using the vi anthers that we use. The images are truncated 32767 and anything between 32768 and 65536 is lost! Reading of post-processing is kind of meaningless since the info is already lost.

  Can someone help with this problem I will appreciate it.

• HP EliteBook 8440p: video playback problem

• Sudden Timeline Lag and playback problems.

  Running the trial of Adobe Premiere to see if its for me. So far I am enjoy it more than Sony Vegas, seems to be much easier to learn and less prone to crashing. I use it try changing a few videos for about a week now and all of a sudden it has started to be very slow. Initially, I had the reading window on the full resolution for both still and during playback, I then noticed that he started trolling, so I dropped down the resolution at 1/4 for both. Fixed it for awhile, but now he starts trolling the 1/4th the quality and I don't see a way to solve this problem. I have not plugged in the additional audio devices or removed something. First just seemed to stop being free of lag. Now, it takes about 5 seconds for her to start to play after I press space and even then he falls officials and freezes the video.

  I also tried to work on a different project that did not freeze for me and he began to do the business of freezing, dropping frames, etc. I don't know what could be the cause. I have to relearn everything I knew originally with sony vegas in about 1 day using first pro.   Well first really not very well on a single disc system especially hard it the drive is 'green' drive or a disk drive 5400 RPM. If you want good operation and we'll add another drive, any good SATA III SSD transfer rates are about 3 times higher than hard drives.

  I'm under Premiere Pro CC 2015 Version 9.2.0 (41) Build on OS X El Capitan (10.11).

  I'm editing on a Macbook Pro 15 "2012 2.3 ghz w / a gpu 650 m."

  When I have the playback engine Mercury in my program screen GPU mode is glitches and impossible to display the video correctly. This only happens when the timeline is paused / not scouring. The timeline is under what the video display correctly without problem.

  During playback of mercury is in software mode is no problem with the program window.

  I took the project and opened it on my Workstation Windows 10 with a Nvidia Gtx 970 w/o any problems.

  If you know what is the cause (e.g., bad drivers, configuration, etc) please let me know! Thank you.

  Anyone who experiences problems with AE CC2015 audio playback during the "Preview"? Audio playback intermittently. Very frustrating.

  Can you describe a little more clearly?

  Are you talking about audio stuttering during the preview? There is an option, you can check in the preferences that turns audio off until you get a real-time preview.

  Are you talking about starting that a second or two after the preview begins to play in real time? If so, this is a bug which is a high priority for a fix in the next update of the month, but you can sorta work around by checking the box that I mentioned in the previous paragraph.

  Since I updated my drivers for my DVD playback was terrible, and it takes 30 to 45 minutes to burn a CD.

  Don't you see the component of video playback on the stage? What to choose. Look at the Properties window. You should see information about the FLVPlayback component selected on the stage. Open the section named "Component Parameters" in the Properties window. The second property is named "autoPlay". You want this property to be unchecked.

• Mercury playback problems, please help

  I am using cs5 since it's launch and noticed my Renderer under project settings has been set to Mercury Playback Engine Software only and the drop down menu has been disabled. I thought it was because I was on an old machine. I've recently upgraded to a Dell Precision Mobile Workstation and have i7, 16 GB of ram and Quadro 4000 m (approved CUDA card) and still have the same problem with the option off of MPE. Anyone know what I forget?

  The Quadro 4000 m was not officially supported until CS5.5. Search for "cuda_supported_cards" or "gpu mpe hack" (here or Google it) and you'll find a way to cheat the system.

• Record archiveIDs with mixed case cause of playback problems

  A mixed case (lowercase + uppercase) for a recorded session archiveID has made me see my reading from zero seconds anywhere on the timeline, I'm "looking" recording.

  Record AND play sets an id of archive as such:

  Where you see the "/ / this is really a search" is never executed because "collName" var returns a string "< more_lower_case_text_here > _player_s_17463_t_2011-08-17t11_05_00-04_00/AVManager" where the "upper case T" is now tiny too! which causes the "seekTime" to be "NaN" from the glance upward in _offsetTable [collName] does not refer a valid number.

  Anyone else seeing this? Anyone can reproduce this?

  PS. I'll try a temporary solution to the bottom of the archiveIDs box before my app it sets in the ArchiveManager, but I would like to know if I'm crazy or we can expect in the future a bug fix

  I can reproduce.  I'll put it on our bug queue.  As you mentioned earlier, must use all lower cased archiveIDs until this is resolved.
