  I was wondering... is first offer a live online change as FCP 7 has done? I have a Creative Director I need to execute the changes throuhg off-site with. I would love to send him my timeline/audio stream while being able to talk to him so that we can change. FCP 7 had it. Anyone know if the first didn't? If not, are there other options? Screen sharing does not work well. I can't use headphones because I play the computer audio out via speakers so that my mic picks it up and sends it to my Director.

  Not necessarily an ideal solution, but people often screen share audio system but using a phone line voice - apart from anything else, this means that you can explain what was wrong turned so declining share.

  The other option is to use an external mini 'podcasting' Mixer (Behringer, Alesis, etc.) which loop audio system thanks to the key combination, add in a mic channel and send everything back. I use this Setup to offer live training sessions - the office gives a flow control and volume of headphones on each item; the only thing is to make sure the first don't try to register an exclusive access to the input channels returning office or the sharing software screen will not be able to listen to.

  You can use http://www.helpexamples.com/test when exporting site. Where to download the site on your server, create a folder with the name of Test and download the site in that folder.

  The crossdomain.xml file must be placed in the folder is rootinstall/webroot and not the apache2 folder. 2/conf. There is no change required in the httpd.conf file. Please read "Setting crossdomain.xml file HTTP streaming in Flash Media Server" section in the link provided above carefully.

• Audio surveillance while the microphone is live online

  I'm going to host a seminar online and using a USB external microphone connected to the computer (a MacBook Pro). Is there a way for me to listen to audio with headphones on the same computer or will I need to connect to another to use only for monitoring purposes?

  You should be able to listen to audio through headphones.

  You try to control your own audio? If so, you may need a second computer/device, but you can also open a second instance of the meeting room on the Mac and you will hear your audio through the second instance. I would just make sure that you have all the audio options in the first room muted for you, that you hear an echo on all the other audio that it reads in both chambers.

• cannot broadcast live event via CTS

  I just upgraded to 4.5 FMS.  I am able to the event live stream via HDS, but I can't stream live events through HLS.  I can use VOD via CTS, but not live events...  Any suggestions?  I tried the HLS url directly access on my iphone and embeddeding sorts even < video > tags in a HTML file tag and gets the same results.  What I've noticed is that in my folder of the application on the server, I see that the HDS files being created.  I don't see the .ts files which I think are supposed to be created when the stream to devices HLS.

  We were broadcasting live online do you know if that would be stored on my hard drive any where... or can they be high anyway... ?

  Sorry, but the live feeds are not saved and cannot not even be found using recovery software because they have not been saved as files.

  I wish I had better news, but they are simply not on the system (unless you have chosen to save them).
