• Dialogue Design Notes not opening not box

  I have Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. I can open the Design Notes dialog box on all of my sites... except for one. When I try right-clicking on the file, or to go to the Site > > Manage Sites and choose Design Notes, it does not work. Just dialog box will not open. But, when I go to another site and try, then the dialog box works very well.

  I tried it on several files at this site and it just doesn't work.

  Solution: In Manage Sites, copy your site and delete the old site definition.

  Now the design dialog box notes appears.

• How to disable the DRC in Ultiboard 12.0.1 error dialog box you?

  Whenever I move a part anywhere on the design, this dialog box appears saying "this action will result in errors DRC do you want to continue?". I know that there are parts that overlap on the design, but I would like to go about my business without being disturbed by this message of nuisance. How can I disable it?    Thank you.

  To resolve this issue, go to the Options > global preferences. Go to the tab design of PCB. There is a drop-down list in front of when an action causes an error in DRC:. Change to remove the error and continue. Click OK. Now you need not be invited for a confirmation e-mail.

  From CS6, Illustrator offers no SDK for dialog boxes and an SDK for signs limited. In both cases, you will need to use a third-party solution (we use Qt) or platform (WIN32 or cocoa)-specific code.

• WMCE54AG - dialog box 'Site not designed for Media Center'

  I just bought WMCE54AG media extender on ebay and it connected to my PC Windows XP Media Center.  It seems to work fine except that I can't access Online Spotlight.  I get a dialog box saying "Not designed for Media Center Site" and asks me to view them later / now display / Cancel.  I select view now and get the Online Spotlight menu options, but can't do anything with it.  This feature works fine on my PC.  Is there some setting I have missed on the Extender?  I tried to update the firmware, but when I have intalled, it says I have a newer version, so I cancelled it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, after trial and error, I finally understood what the problem
  a. the Linksys Extender is not compatible with IE7. After rolling back to
  IE6, I could see online focus in the media extender. As a note of
  careful, I had upgraded to IE8 beta 2 and Spot online has stopped working on
  my media center PC as well. I had the same error as I did on my extender. This
  in the end is how I realized that the problem was with the IE version.

  It's something I've not seen before. I posted this question in the forum Autodesk AutoCad LT five days ago, but I got no answer at all. Because I'm not sure whether it is a Windows or a problem with Autocad, I thought I'll try to post here, too.

  On one of our AutoCad workstations, when you open a drawing, we cannot enter a wildcard character (*) in the file selection dialog box to help unravel the drawings.

  In other words, say there are 10 versions of a drawing with the number 5008. I should be able to enter the 5008 * and just see these ten designs. On this computer, when I try to type an asterisk (*), I get this error message: invalid character. The following characters are not allowed in file names: \ /: *? "<>

  Now, I know that they are not allowed... but I don't mean to create a file name. I'm just trying to classify them. On our other RTE Autocad workstations, the wildcard character works fine.  What's up with this one? Y at - it a setting or a variable that controls this?

  I have an intermittent problem with Windows 7.  I tend to keep the programs up and running for weeks, because every day instead of shutting down the computer, I put on standby.  The problem is, after a few weeks to go in and out of sleep, the open/save as box stops in programs which were broadcast during weeks of dialogue.  Here is an example:

  I open word, excel, firefox, January 1.  I opened random documents by clicking through Explorer or just browse the web.  But I never completely close all programs.  I could open up doc1, doc2, doc3, doc1 close, open doc4, narrow doc2, etc..  All programs stay in memory.  After a few weeks, said Jan 28, if I select file-> open, the dialog box is not pop up.  I can open via the documents Explorer, but no file-> open.  Also, I can't make a file-> save as.  I can do-> file save (saves the document), but nothing that causes the dialog box.  It is reproducible in word, excel, firefox, or any other program, I leave the door open for several weeks.

  Here's the weird second problem.  Say I got word, excel, and firefox open for weeks.  If I exit excel completely, and then restart, the dialog box continues to work in excel.  But it remains broken in word and firefox.

  Everyone race in this issue?  Somehow I can fix this without having to restart the program?  The main reason, it's a problem for me is because I do not often know that this problem occurred.  Hopefully, I'll open a spreadsheet from a web page and start editing.  I try to do a save as, only to find the pop dialog box - up will not appear and I can't save the work I do.  Or I have a word document open for weeks.  I usually just hit the Save button, but this time I want to save it under a different name.  I can't do it while this problem is here and I have to close microsoft word completely to get the box to start working again.

  The key is that every so often, you have to restart things, windows programs, the computer itself, in order clearly to all the memory, unload all managers, the .dll files - indeed clear the cobwebs from the computer. If you do not, you can continue to run into the problem you describe.

  For my part, even if I do not turn off my computer, I restart from time to time to get a fresh start, for me, that means being able to have all the features with drag-and-drop processes; for you, this is the Save as dialogue box.

• Custom dialog box could not be shown during the event of 'onCreationCompleted '.

  My application has a 'Warning' dialog box which must be indicated when the application is launched. There are two options in this regard. If users do not accept the warning, the app will be closed. I put it in the onCreationCompleted event handler in the first screen, but it could not be shown there. But I tried to click on a button to open it, it can be displayed correctly.

  I also tried with the dialog system, it can be shown correctly in the event of onCreationCompleted. But I couldn't use it cause my warning dialog box has a complex user interface design.

  It's very strange. Could you try to open it from Manager QTimer onTimer?

  Try to set a large interval first, then, if it works set to 0 msec.

• Dialog box fonts / sizing broken, can't see the options

  Hi all

  I'll insert two images to illustrate a problem with Adobe Reader on Windows 7 Pro (updated). The same problem occurs in 10, XI and DC.

  

  

  The first menu is to print the Second Edition - Preferences. Sometimes the police are ridiculously high and it is not possible to scroll sideways to see what I do, sometimes the police is only a black pixel by character.

  I uninstalled, remove entries from registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\ < program names concerned here > reinstalled; no help.

  I tried to reset the toolbars, but the dialogue is broken in the same way and does not solve the problem.

  I have read some threads with similar problem as Impossible to resize too large print dialog box , but haven't found a solution.

  Anyone hazard a guess as to how to solve this problem?

  I use the Mac version of the program. Whenever I try to access the dialog box displayed new CSS rule, it never works. I think I can be absent a toolbar or something, because I searched the whole program for this feature and I can't find it.   DoubleVerify (http://www.doubleverify.com/) looks like an advertising company. It is possible that there is a glitch in their script, or that it is in conflict with an add-on.

  A common cause of errors in script does not work on Windows 7 is the feature of mode of the Flash player plugin. This feature has the security benefits, but it seems to have serious compatibility problems on some systems. You can disable it using the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. On the right side, find 'Shockwave Flash' and click on the link for more. Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try it for a day to see if that helps you.

• After update to Firefox 32.0.3 print dialog box will not apear in Win7Pro/XP after awhile, but a restart of Firefox will allow him to appear again...

  After update automatically to 32.0.3 Thursday last Monday on the computers of all of our employees and boss both Win7 pro and XP pro, we saw Firefox sessions that will not bring the print dialog box. The print preview dialog box will return but no button print or print menu to display the print dialog box. After you close Firefox and reopen the print dialog box works again for some time. Web sites that use boss and staff during a session are different and appear to be the cause. Firefox settings are at fault because simply restart of Firefox just solves the problem and no other web browsers or application has any problem with the display of the dialog box print at any time. Again, that has started on all computers as soon as 32.0.3 was automatically installed during the night.

  Now, it seems that the issue may have been corrected in v33.

  After you install Adobe Flash 14.0.0.0.25 when I go to a site that wants to store data locally, I am presented with a dialog box that gives me options: allow, deny, specify the isite. However, no matter what I click nothing happens. It's almost as if Firefox is not 'see' the click. I went into settings Adobe manage and added that the site as being approved, but it did nothing...

  Best is to allow a Flash local storage in the world and use the default values.

  IMO, request master password dialog box is not well labeled, and its identity (and authentic) seem a little in doubt whenever it appears. It is possible that someone could be spoof using JS and I could unwittingly put my "skeleton key" to a thief? Please tell me I'll be paranoid!

  I don't think a script in an ordinary web page has the permission to read your passwords for other Web sites, even if you are not using a master password. It should be limited to see what password manager fills in the page.

  For this reason, even if a page has captured your master password, I don't think that he could use it in a harmful way. But I'm maybe not quite devious.
