  I am trying to download the server FMS/AMS tool, for example f4vpp.  However, the download link is broken. • How you converting ToC links to cross reference?

  Hello gang,

  InDesign CS6 can export to ePub and can support the export of a table of contents to links in ePub, but can not bear two. Is there a script or plug-in that you know who can take a second or third selected ToC generated and to convert its links in cross references, as well as more than a table of contents can translate into a html-based link once we export to ePub?

• Broken image links

  Is it possible to avoid each link image being broken when you move your project files?

  The paths are absolute instead of relative.

  

  If I move the folder 'displays Brochure_TEMPLATE_CON", as well as all files and folders, then try and re - open"Poster Brochure_TEMPLATE.ai"the image links are broken.

  The paths are absolute if the links are not in the same directory as the .ai file. Illustrator searches the Active Directory of the document first... then by default, the absolute of the image path when she was bound.

  Your description leaves some questions unanswered: version FM, structured vs method based on the format, the PDF creation,...

  Assuming you have the TOC as a component generated in your book (those who have another icon of documents standard chapter), you right click and find a menu command «Set Up Table of contents» Select it and make sure the settings are as expected and "Create links" in the lower left corner is selected.

• Broken toolbar links

  After the upgrade to FF 12 (the leopard), none of my favorites bookmarks toolbar working. They are all what it with the correct links defined in the properties but nothing happen when I click on them. And, when I add new bookmarks to the toolbar, those who do not work either.

  One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

• Find frame anchor of broken graphic links

  I have a document that when opening wants a new link to an image that has been removed from the file. I looked on body pages, master pages, reference pages, all I can think to locate where the graphic that is looking for the file might be located. Can anyone offer additional places in the file to watch?

  If the file is not part of a book, make a, then:

  Add > list of > figures

  and you will know what it is on the page (if LOF catalogues missing imports, which it may not).

  You can also save as a MIF and get back in the MIF for the name of the object. You need to learn a little about the MIF to decipher where that maps in the document.

  Import references can hide in all kinds of places, including but not limited to:

  • the edge of the anchored frame (had 2 of those today)
  • hidden behind an opaque, something you can see
  • currently disabled conditional text
  • text sank out of sight on the offline page
  • in the flat view, but hidden by color views

  Worse: create a 1 x 1 pixel white object and give it the name of the rogue.

  Directly under the link, it says that it is a full installer but when download you it, the readme file says that it is a group of patches.

The page of the Response.asp file is in the same directory as all the other pages. It passes the validation of the link with Dreamweaver, open the page when done. I also checked that permissions are set correctly. On the browser, however, this is a dead link and behaves as plain text.

  I doubt that a script to access information on the State of the references.

  The only properties of a media element that are accessibe in Photos are:

  

  What you could try would be write a script, which tries to export all the photos in your referenced photo album.  and if export encounters an error, catch the error and add a keyword to the photo.

  I've got broken 267 links on a single page, all the images.

  There seems to be no difference between the survivors of the links and broken links,

  I tried to fix the links in the link Inspector and the properties panel, which failed.

Then, of course, I saved their return in the same folder with the same name etc. Was the problem that I simply recorded images and is not saved for the Web and devices? -they were already optimized. (some images have been changed manually, others using the Actions palette)

  I find in my manual and can not find an answer.

  When I opened a document sometimes there are some pictures (jpg) have "lost their links. Other photos are very good. As far as I know that I did nothing different when adding the jpg format to the doc.

  The document seems to work OK despite the broken picture links.

  Please explain to me what is happening.

  There are two types of links "broken", missing or modified.

  Links updated, you will see a yellow warning triangle in the links Panel, and that means that the file on the linked file modification date has changed since the last record of the file of ID. ID still knows where to look, and can update the dat link to the latest version.

  Missing links are more serious and display a red question mark. This means that the path to the link is no longer valid for a reason, and you must point ID to the location of the file manually.

  Both conditions must be dealt with before printing, but you could get away without to exit the screen, although I wouldn't recommend it. Your file 'seems very well because the old preview is always stored inside the document.'
