• Pocket PC 2003 device

  I have a heritage project, which I believe was written in LabVIEW 8.5 ish I need to open and edit. Its a program for an older TPC-2006.  I need to make it work with a touchscreen of more recent (i.e. TPC-2206).  The problem is when I open it with LV 2015, the code section for the touch screen says that I don't have the software installed for the Tao PC 2003 device.  What are my options?  Can I get a version of the software that will install under LV2015?  Can I convert the old version of project to a new project in order to open and repair?  Should I install a version of LV 8.5?

  I searched the forum and all posts that I found were around the period of 2008 and didn't address this issue.

  From 2014 to LabVIEW, the development system includes the development/deployment of the touch panel module feature but peripheral Pocket PC are no longer supported in all recent versions of LabVIEW - the module is compatible with the TPC-22XX with Windows Embedded 7 (WES7) series. If you want to maintain an existing application that uses this box to tools/module, I think you need to use an older version of LabVIEW (which does not support the TPC-22XX series). If you have a provider of shared services with the OR, you should be able to access/download old version of LabVIEW from the Web site.

  If you want to run on the newer device, you might have to manually update your code to correct compatibility issues (e.g. screw missing Pocket PC).

  I edited this post to remove some questionable information and keep only what I know works for me.

  The setting network.http.keep - alive false seems to provide the greatest improvement, but I think that setting network.http... Max-connections to 64 maybe helped a little in my case, since I have a slow connection 'broadband '.

  I also reinstalled FF12 with these changes, and the problem seems to be resolved.

  For now, this seems to have solved my problems. If things start going downhill, I will return.

  Can you please let me know the end of support for Windows Server 2003?

  I manage and application that is currently running on Windows Server 2003 and will soon migrate to Windows Server 2012 but the exact date is not decided, as a lot of analysis should be done prior to the actual migration.

  Please let me know when Microsoft end this support for their Windows Server 2003 so that I can work on that accordingly.

  That would be really helpful. Any announcement already made by Microsoft on this? I found a few things online stating it would be 2015, but nothing seems to have come directly from Microsoft.

  Hello rwhard, welcome.

  My suggestion would be to insert your disk in Microsoft Office, and then try to perform an automatic repair. Try this:

  1. click on START
  2. click on "Control Panel."
  3. double-click on "programs & features".
  4. click on "Microsoft Office...". "and select Edit
  5. Select "repair".... "in the context menu and go through the wizard
  6. after the repair, restart your computer and try to update again

  If this does not work, I would say that simply hide you the update if you are not using Outlook.

  1. click on START
  2 type "Windows Update" (without the quotes) and press enter
  3. search for updates, and then click to view will want as an option so that you can manually select the updates to be applied
  4 right-click the two updates, then select "hide."
  5. There is no button apply, so it just close the window, and then restart your computer

  Try the following a.

  We will empty the download folder & then try again measured.

  Start > type cmd > and press enter

  type in
  net stop wuauserv 

  Go to Windows Explorer.
  Look on your system (usually C) drive and see the name of the Windows folder. Like Windows or WINNT.
  Edit following as appropriate.
  If your Windows folder is C:\Windows.  Look at this file
  C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\download

  If you find files in there, remove them.  This file is where the Windows Update files are stored downloads.

  Return to the command prompt window.
  type in
  net start wuauserv 

  OUTPUT

  Reboot & then run manually check the updates in Windows Update, etc, etc...
  When you get to Windows Update, a custom scan updates. Take (accept) those marked critical or Important.
  Those that are marked as "optional" decline.
  NET Framework or Silverlight updates offered, select not them & the other (do all .NET Framework or Silverlight updates in separate tracks).
   
  Have infinite patience so that it scans and it's work.
   
  When you are prompted to restart Windows, please do. Allow it to restart.

  If and only IF there is another failure, then let's you use NOTEPAD & doing research in the Windows Update log (using Notepad)
  usually at C:\Windows\Windowsupdate.log or C:\WINNT\Windowsupdate.log
   
  Copy and paste here the last 60 lines out of this newspaper, for review.
  Go to end of the log of the last entries and get ratings of the error.

  If you want the legend to display on some Images of heroes, then try the following steps.

  1 open the control panel of the slideshow Options full screen and uncheck the box "Edit together.

  2. go to the image of heroes who would have no legend.

  3. Select the legend and make its filling like "No fill" and do the same with the text inside the box of legend as well.

  Note: As this is the slideshow widget you cannot add external text on an image of the slide show/hero. legend text box and only relativity with Image of hero.
