  Hello, in photoshop cc 2014 my brush cursor disappears when I increase the size of my brush, I tried to disable the gpu in the preferences or remove preferences file, but still have the problem.

  When I zoom I can increase the size but when im in 100% zom after size 50 my brush will disappear

  It's a video card driver bug introduced in Mac OS 10.10 (who looks a lot like an old bug they fixed to 10.9).

  Apple is aware of this and the other video driver issues in 10.10 and work on solutions.

  My Photoshop has been upgraded to CS5.5 now.

  When I used my circle before Brush tool, I can see the size of my brush in a circle so

  I know where to paint them. Now the circle disappears when I use my brush tool when you zoom in on the picture.

  I have change the cursors in the preferences, I put it to the normal brush tip and full size brush tip.

  Same thing again. I only saw the brush of the circle all looking at my picture to 100%.

  When I zoomed in more than 100%, the brush circle disappeared and is replaced by a quarter circle.

  All do not know what Miss me and what the program installation I have to do in order to bring

  the normal brush cursor?

  Most likely, as others post this same problem in this forum, you have a video card driver NVidia more former that you have not successfully updated for a year or two.

  Go update the driver from the NVidia website.

  I have a problem where I don't see my brush on the darks slider,

  Running windows 7... elements v.9 9.03 update.

  1. I uninstalled and reinstalled
  2. set the size of my text in the control panel at 100%
  3. deleted in the elements preferences
     

  The problem persists, I can press the caps lock and transitions of reticle from black to white depending on what area of the photo I'm on, then I can press the caps lock to change back to encircle the cursor once more, the minute I select another tool or different brush I lose the black to white transition of cursor.

  I wouldn't press the caps lock key whenever I want to see my brush cursor.

  Are there users who have the same problem and found a solution for this.

  Yes, I have this same behavior.

  But #5 is not the initial behavior of the cursor, it is definitely the best behavior.

  #7 looks like a bug to me - whatever the appearance of the cursor, just work in the layers palette and go back to the image does not change the cursor appearance.

  You did a good job matching of the section, and I would say that drop you like a bug with Adobe.

• Local adjustment brush cursors have disappeared

  I did a reinstall, repair actually LR 2.6 blue screen errors (which not turned out be associated LR) and now my local adjustment brush cursors are gone! I have the old style, one slider with the other controls being + & - buttons. I have no idea what else is gone, but I want my back sliders.

  In the upper right corner of the Panel brush is a small button whte. It is on the same line as "setting:

  My mouse cursor won't change a cursor to paint brush.  I tried the preferences/cursor selection, but it still does nothing, I also tried to reset the tool brush and still nothing.

  The cursor brush changed recently so that it is much larger than the real brush to which is applied a background or a picture.  I can't tell where or how large the brush will apply.  I have reset the Brush tool and checked the Brush tool options.  All are set to zero except the brush spacing which is 25%.  He is always spacing of 25%.  I recently started using a magic mouse on my iMac instead of a regular computer mouse.  I am using the brush in Photoshop Elements 10 and Photoshop CS4 tool.  What is a mouse problem?

  What version of mac os x are you using?

• Cross hair with right arrow?

  I'm working on a logo design and went to use the ellipse tool. The cursor become a cross with an arrow to the right and now I can't draw any shape. All other functions work, including the pen tool. I can't just draw shapes within this document. If I open a new document, all is well.

  A click on a setting that I'm familiar? Very puzzled.

  There must be a perspective grid somewhere in your document. Just hide it.

  I make the transition between traditional media and use the computer to generate art.  I bought CS4 because my first machine had no 64-bit support.  One of the problems in the Photoshop app that had me to suspend any further study with her was the brush LAG nasty like I moved my mouse OR my pen (I have a Wacom Cintiq) while "painting".

  I diligently search online to find answers, read the forum messages, still called support.  The best they could offer was clear data cache of application on my Windows XP machine.  I guess it helped a little, but it still turned enough lag.

  Understand a little about the workings of computers, I know the power of the processor, memory and GPU power and system memory can make a big impact on improving.  So, I bought the Toshiba Qosmio with an i7 quad core processor, 4 GB of RAM fast and a big nVidia with 1 GB memory graphics card.  This new machine is Windows 7, so I was very happy I could use the version CS4 64 bit Photoshop!

  Surely this machine would tear it up, right?  No, same question.  For example, if I take my pen (or mouse) and test the paint a line diagonally across the screen, I see anything from a fraction of a second delay of about 2 seconds of delay, after which the brush stroke "POPs" along the projected track, according to how fast I drag my brush and how long the path is.

  So now, when I paint my brush strokes have to be short, slow down shots because the behavior of the application is demanding that it if I want to see my face right away.

  Now, I'm not a digital artist, not yet, so I don't have a wait if this is expected behavior or not.  I can't imagine that it is, could it?  When I used GIMP for a few months, I don't remember seeing this kind of lag on the mouse cursor.

  I want to stay in the world of Photoshop for my study of digital art; almost all my study documents make use of the tutorials and examples.  But I need to know what happens with this first.  Right?

  Have you installed the 11.0.1 and 11.0.2 update?

  Have you tried to disable OpenGL drawing?

  Regarding your problem of brush, other users had increased size slider their system in universal access and it triggered the problem. Game back to default and you should be ok.

  Some had problems with their display drivers and 10.7.3 fixed the disappearance of described brush (approximately) between 350 and 650 pixels for them.

  I use photoshop cs5 extended on the processor q8200 Intel dg41ty graphics integrated with the latest drivers. My problem is that some time photoshops brush becomes automatically to normal without any reason and after a while, he returned to the normal state. I'll double check the prefrence and it is normal selected. no idea why this happen?

  You were probably pressing Caps Lock as this allows to switch between the two on the fly.

  It is in 32-bit version of windows xp, but not in 64-bit version of windows 7.
