• Lightroom adjustment brush unusable / slow and erratic

  I recently updated my version of Lightroom CC and when you use the (with and without overlay) Lightroom adjustment brush becomes incredibly slow or even unresponsive. Not only that, but it produces brush strokes I have never know I'll use the brush on a domain and then stop to wait and see before shots, I did fill, for what appear to be from 10 to 20 seconds on average, which in itself is quite unacceptable, and Lightroom then proceeds to do a big blow at random areas I never even flew over especially brushed in. So I'm going to clear this erroneous line randomly, the problem repeats itself in that it removes not only the error, but also a part of what I have completed only. Which was a montage of 5 minutes, senior, is now a test of long hours with mediocre results at best. So far, I tried to update the drivers, change the size of the cache, giving the Lightroom process a priority higher with so many reboots, I think my power button is about to fall. My computer has 32 GB of Ram, 5930K i7, EVGA GTX 980Ti, with m2 and Reg. SATAIII. SSDs running windows Pro 10. Many years of operation of older versions of Lightroom on an Early 2009 Mac Pro and MacBook Pro 2014 mi, I am more confident that I have enough resources in my machine to slam lightroom died several times in the course and of course when I check my task manager, I can see that lightroom scratches barely 10% on my CPU and at best he is gone up to 4.4 GB RAM date on which It was insensitive. As far as I can tell my computer does not have the heavy loads in one of its components it is nice and quiet.

  Any help on this would be much appreciated: How can I get Lightroom to use more than 10% of my resources? How can I get the adjustment brush to work? Is it possible to downgrade to we'll tell LR4 or LR5? Any help to improve this mess so I can actually finish my work.

  P.S., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, holders, Hasselblad Phocus (for trial) work fine without any problem of freezing or seizure.

  Please turn off the graphics processor of Lightroom preferences.

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

  Let us know if that helps.

• CC Illustrator brushes Help!

  Hello
  I have problems with my brushes in CC.  Whenever I create a new pattern or an art brush, or load an old paintbrush in CC it works fine - but when I save, close and reopen the file, all my paths using brushes become exposed.  Never had this problem with versions of CS. Y at - it an option that I can disable it somehow?

  For model brushes, you can try if it works when you remove the tile of automatic angle. (The 'None' value or manually create a tile of angle)

  This used to work, but I'm not sure at the moment if it still works.

  So there is a cool new feature that shows your 7 most recently used brushes. It is located in the Panel forms just above the thumbnails of all the brush presets available.

  Say that I chose a chalk brush. Then an airbrush. These two will be displayed as recent brushes used, as well as 5 others who served previously as these two.

  So now. I select the chalk brush, and start painting. In painting, I change the size of the brush several times (more than 7 times, for example).

  What is happening now, is that 7 most recent used brushes are all the exact same brush chalk, but only he shows them in different sizes that I changed the brush while painting. Thus, for example, the 7 most recent brushes becomes 25px of chalk, chalk 15px, chalk, chalk 150px 7px, 5px of chalk, chalk 250px, chalk 20px. (these are just example sizes). All other previous brushes used before the chalk brush are all wiped out.

  We don't care of 7 previous brush SIZES, we care about the 7 previous PRESETS used brush. This was to have been a mistake.

  I can't honestly believe the jerk-ness-is really how it works, or am I missing something to make it work correctly? It makes this new feature totally useless. Why they bother in the first place with this one if this is how it works? Have they just whip it turned off and not to test or something?

  If a predefined form is saved with the size, change the size creates a new SRM. If the preset is saved without size, then changing the size does not impose a new creation of SRM.

  When you select the Brush tool there are two points that appear at the end of the tools.  One is for the size of the brush, the other is for the shape of the brush.

  Something else to vary the size of the brush over is a zoom before or zoom out of the scene.  Size of the brush does not fit so if you do very small step the brush becomes very large comapratively.

  If I hold down the option key and click on the tool icon brush becomes the eyedropper icon, but click on produces only a COLOR of background.

  I know that the tool of the icon itself can choose fade in the foreground or background, but it seems that there is a way to choose the FOREGROUND COLOR while using the Brush tool.

  It is possible that you have the background color of active play sample in the color Panel. Go to the color Panel and click on the foreground swatch (to make it active) and see if that makes a difference.

• Navigation in the view of 1:1 using the Brush tool

  New in LR3.

  When in the developer and paint the sky or other extended a photo, I would like to be able to navigate to another section, once I painted what is available for me to use the tool on when I'm in the 1:1 magnification. Is there a way to do that, without having to close the tool, move the photo to navigate to the area I want to work on next and then have to start a new session of brush?

  Hold down the SPACEBAR, the brush becomes the hand tool, which you can then use to move the image.

• Cross hair with right arrow?

  I'm working on a logo design and went to use the ellipse tool. The cursor become a cross with an arrow to the right and now I can't draw any shape. All other functions work, including the pen tool. I can't just draw shapes within this document. If I open a new document, all is well.

  A click on a setting that I'm familiar? Very puzzled.

  There must be a perspective grid somewhere in your document. Just hide it.

My problem is that some time photoshops brush becomes automatically to normal without any reason and after a while, he returned to the normal state.   You were probably pressing Caps Lock as this allows to switch between the two on the fly.

• Several monitors, drag and drop questions

  Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. Running two monitors with extended desktop. With several windows open, I try to drag and drop items between windows, to move files or to copy text from one place to another, for example. After that selection is made, as soon as I move the mouse to drag, all windows size, shift to different areas of the desktop (s) to decrease and darkens slightly. The mouse arrow becomes a crossed circle.

  I tried using a non Aero theme without effect and am unsure if this is a windows problem, a problem of mouse or a monitor problem. I also made changes but advanced Visual effects, that does not work. In this screenshot, the Firefox window is full-screen on the right monitor, Thunderbird is full screen on the left and the other windows are different sizes on both. I am trying to drag and drop a few folders and that's what I have.

  I was able to troubleshoot and resolve this problem on mine. He was unrelated to monitors, etc.

  The unusual behavior occurred during left click drag and drop operations. Using a different mouse, I found normal operations. After some research, I found a dark environment on a Logitech mouse. Using setpoint, I disabled the application switcher function and monitor / several window performance and behavior returns to normal.

• Need assistance to integrate the separate in a PDF files

  I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro (Version 10.1.2).  I followed the instructions below to try to embed Word, Excel, PowerPoint files and PDF separated in my PDF document as thumbnails, but the only problem is, this works on my computer because the files are saved on my computer.  As soon as I move my PDF file that contains links, the links are not open.

  How can I essentially do the same thing but have the miniature links be viewable by all, regardless of their location?

  Create a link using the link tool

  1. Choose Tools > content > link. The pointer becomes a cross, and all existing links in the document, including invisible links, are temporarily visible.
  2. Drag a rectangle where you want to create a link. It is the area in which the link is active.
  3. In the dialog box to create a link, choose the options you want for the appearance of the link.
  4. Select one of the following link:

     Go to a Page view

     Click next to set the page number and magnification of the view you want in the current document or in another document (e.g. an attachment) and then click on connect.

     Open a file

     Select the destination file and click Select. If the file is a PDF file, specify how the document should open (for example in a new window or in an existing window), and then click OK.

     Note: If the file name is too long to fit in the text box, in the middle of the name is truncated.

  There is no MS Office as "embed" with PDF (see standard ISO 32000 - 1).
