BSOD: System Exception threatens not managed

Hello!!

I have a 8 64-bit windows pc. For the last few weeks, I get a BSOD with the message SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED tcpip.sys. I Googled it and tried to fix it myself, but the blue screen still occurs. I have updated my WLAN drivers but still have the same problem. Please help me to address to this issue at the earliest... anyones you have a solution?

Here is my PC configuration - http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-15-n000-Notebook-PC-series/5401225/model/5422963/document/c03896635/

Thank you!! :))

Thomas

MSE is a good light weight malware application, but I prefer more.  I would stay away from Kaspersky, McAfee and Symantec, as they often contribute to BSOD.  I personally use an application paid malware called Eset smart security

  • The Web service exception was not catch!

    Hi experts,

    I use Jdev 11.1.1.5 and I am faced with an extrange problem (hope that's not a bug)

    I call a method AMImpl to a bean to support:

    String result = (String) ADFUtils.getBindingContainer().getOperationBinding("am_method").execute();
    logger.info ("Result of webservice = "+result);

    The AM code calls a Web service:

    try {
       port.webServiceMethod(param1);
       logger.info("Succesfully completed");
    } catch (Exception e) {
       logger.severe(e.toString());
    }

    If param1 is null, web service returns an exception, I'd like to catch:

    My problem is that exception had not been made and or save messages ("Successfully completed" or exception.ToString() ()) is printed.

    It seems that the execution is canceled in the AM and only the first record in the managed bean is printed ("webservice result = null")

    Thanks a lot for your help.

    The finally clause lights OK

    Then it is an internal problem with the implementation of jax - ws (probably ws response cannot be parsed for a reason, for example bad schema xsd etc...).

    You can try to catch Throwable instead of Exception.

    Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    PROBLEM

    Using the same instance of ServiceClientFactory to call remote services exposed by the LiveCycle container can lead to

    exceptions related to the expiration of the assertion

    Solution

    To handle the timeout use the ThrowHandler mechanism provided by the ServiceClientFactory framework

    Detailed explanation

    LiveCycle provides a client sdk for java-based client call its services remotely.

    An invocation involves the creation of an instance of ServiceClientFactory setting user credentials in thefactory instance passes this factory to a customer of service or creating an InvocationRequest directly

    Use the client to perform the actual request.

    For more details, see Invoking

    LiveCycle ES using the Java API .

    An instance of ServiceClientFactory once created is valid for a certain

    period of time that is default 120 min., if the same instance is used to call beyond that period, while he leads to an exception indicating that

    the session has expired [com.adobe.idp.um.api.impl.AuthenticationManagerImpl]

    errorCode:16421 errorCodeHEX:0 x 4025 message: could not validate SAML

    Token - Assertion has expired and therefore not valid for the user

    [administrator@DefaultDom]. Its valid until time [Thu Oct 22

    17:07:53 IST

    2009] turns out to be before the current [Thu Oct

    [22 17:58:18 2009 IST]

    This isn't a problem if the ServiceClientFactory instance is used for a short time. However if you want to make a long

    the task as great conversion number of documents to PDF, applying the policies their etc., then it would be a problem.

    Session time-out

    Before fxing the question some info on what is session time-out.

    • When you use an instance of ServiceClientFactory to invoke service suite fow arrives
    • You set credentials in the properties and call the service
    • LiveCycle server side validates the credentials and issues a context. It's the kind of a ticket which can be reused later rather than the actual credentials.
    • After receiving the response from the server the ServiceClientFactory instance deletes its own copy of credentials and instead stores the context for calls more later on that this instance of context is passed instead of the credentials of the user
    • This fow everything is done to ensure that the credentials of the user are not sent for each remote call, thus improving security.

    For more information about the context, refer to

    Identity of the user in LiveCycle .

    Solution

    Fx this problem you need to re authenticate to LiveCycle and get the context new draw. the best way to do this is to use the ThrowHandler provided by the ServiceClientFactory framework

    Step 1 - create a Throwhandler

    ______________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________

    /**

    * This ThrowHandler caches the credentials of the user and use them

    to update the framework in the

    * ServiceClientFactory to expiration.

    */

    private public static class SimpleTimeoutThrowHandler implements

    {ThrowHandler}

    private String username;

    private String password;

    public SimpleTimeoutThrowHandler (String username, String

    {password)

    me.username = username;

    This.password = password;

    }

    public boolean handleThrowable (Throwable t, ServiceClient

    SC,

    ServiceClientFactory EFC, MessageDispatcher md,

    IR InvocationRequest, int numTries) survey

    {DSCException}

    {if (timeoutError (t))}

    The call to AuthenticationManager does not require

    the authentication if the default properties

    are the people

    AuthenticationManager am =

    New

    AuthenticationManagerServiceClient (ServiceClientFactory.createInstance (getDefaultProperties()));

    AuthResult ar = null;

    try {}

    AR =

    AM. Authenticate (username, Password.GetBytes ());

    } catch (UMException e) {}

    throw new IllegalStateException (e);

    }

    Context ctx = new Context();

    ctx.initPrincipal (ar);

    Refresh the ServiceClientFactory instance with

    the new context

    scf.setContext (ctx);

    Logger.info ("refresh the related context

    ServiceCLientFactory");

    Now say CFS to try again, the invocation

    Returns true;

    }

    Check so that we do not again wrap the exception

    If (t instanceof DSCException)

    throw (DSCException) t;

    If (t instanceof RuntimeException)

    throw (RuntimeException) t;

    How is it possible to get that much?

    throw new IllegalStateException (t);

    }

    Private boolean timeoutError (Throwable t) {}

    If (!) () t.getCause () instanceof UMException)) {}

    Returns false;

    }

    UMException EU = t.getCause ((UMException));

    Check that UMException is due to the

    expiry of the assertion/context

    if(UMConstants.errorCodes.E_TOKEN_INVALID ==)

    {ue.getErrCode ()}

    Returns true;

    }

    Returns false;

    }

    }

    ______________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________

    This ThrowHandler would be invoked by the ServiceClientFactory to receipt of any exception. The manager would then determine if it's a timeout on the exception and then update the context associated with the instance of the factory and told him to retry the invocation.

    STEP - 2 record Manager

    ______________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________

    ServiceClientFactory.installThrowHandler (new

    SimpleTimeoutThrowHandler (username, password));

    ______________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________

    Note: the Manager should be listed only once in the application

    STEP 3 - make your invocation

    Following example would try to apply policies to all the fles present in a directory

    ______________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________

    Properties p = getDefaultProperties();

    p.setProperty (DSC_CREDENTIAL_USERNAME, username);

    p.setProperty (DSC_CREDENTIAL_PASSWORD, password);

    EFC ServiceClientFactory =

    ServiceClientFactory.createInstance (p);

    Now, to make a long running operation

    String inputDirName = "path-of-entry-dir";

    String outDirName = "path - to the-out-dir";

    String policyName = "the-policy-name ';

    Download the file = new File (inputDirName);

    Folder outDir = new queue (outDirName);

    RightsManagementClient rmClient = new

    RightsManagementClient (CFS);

    DocumentManager docManager = rmClient.getDocumentManager ();

    Iterate over all in the inDir pdf and apply the

    policies. If it takes a

    {for (file pdfFile: {inDir.listFiles ())}

    The inDoc document = new Document (pdfFile, false);

    Document securedDoc = docManager.applyPolicy (inDoc,

    pdfFile.getName (), policyName, null, null, null);

    securedDoc.copyToFile (new

    File (outDir, pdfFile.GetName ()));

    }

    ______________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________

    Now the invocation would end even if it takes a lot of time. If any session time-out occurs then our ThrowHandler would take care of it.

    Hello:

    You must download and install the Ricoh 5-in-1 card reader driver support for your laptop and driver page.

    Go to Device Manager and expand network adapters.

    Is the model of your wireless poster card he or she has completely disappeared from the Device Manager, does not come under the section of the network cards, or in the General list of devices such as a network controller?

    If she disappeared from the view, 99% chance the connection from the motherboard to the card slot plugs into is fried.

    This is a very common problem with the dv6000/dv9000 models.

  • System Restore does not work, once again.

    Hi, I read a topic of 2010 that has not yet been answered. I worked with a tech at Microsoft by e-mail, but when I answered: System Restore didn't work. Now it does not work yet. I had installed Returnil system safe, but I got an error msg 0 x 80004005, (third-party antivirus), so I uninstalled the program. I went through the registry and delete something with Returnil all 4 sections of the registry. Remove the common files folder that was left after uninstalling. Restarted my computer several times. I use MSE, with free versions of spywareblaster and MBAB, who are both at the request not in real time. I tried to restore to a time before I had installed Returnil first, (I installed and uninstalled 3 times in 2 days) and could not. I tried to use a snapshot to restore spywareblaster and managed to restore to the point 2 x before installing because forward the installation of point returnil has been altered. At the moment no malware has been detected and no threat of MSE. What to do next?

    Thanks in advance for any help. Liz.

    Here's my usual route to find out how to reinstall System Restore:

    If you have already run MBAM and SAS, temporarily disabled your antivirus and anti-malware applications and tried your Safe Mode system restore and you still get the restoration of the system to work, you must reinstall just your system restore.  You do not have to reinstall XP - just reinstall the system restore part.

    System Restore is a frequent target of attacks by malicious software.

    When you reinstall the system restore, all your current Restore Points will be deleted and you must restart your computer once the installation is complete.  After the reboot, a new Restore Point will be created as a new point of system control in your calendar of SR.

    If your system had a malware infection, it could be that some of the files in your old Restore Points are also infected up to wipe out the 'old' and new is often a good idea if you wonder if the old Restore Points are infected or not.

    Assuming that your XP is installed on drive C of your computer:

    As you go through the reinstallation of the RS, the resettlement will be asked to locate certain files as you go along and ask your XP installation CD.   If you do not have a genuine XP bootable installation CD, you can change the path where Setup looks for files one at a time, because they are needed.  More on that later.

    Navigate to the following folder:

    c:\Windows\Inf

    Locate and right-click the following file:

    SR.inf

    Choose Install

    If you can not see the sr.inf file, set up your system to show hidden files and show file extensions.

    Click on tools, Options, view and turn on "Show the hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types", then you should be able to see the file c:\windows\inf\sr.inf.

    Installation can request files from the c:\windows\inf\386 folder.  It would be your installation CD bootable XP genuine if you have one and the Service Pack installed on your system must be the same as the CD that you will use.

    You don't need absolutely a CD to do the reinstall, because files must already be on your system somewhere if SR was working before.

    If you are prompted for a file, and you can't find it where I suggest in my example below (it works on my system), you need to search your hard drive and find where the files on your system.

    If the request to a file and you don't know where he is, let waiting for installation and click Start, search, and search for it
    has requested the file and find it on your system.  If SR has already worked before, the file is already on your system somewhere.

    Search finds the requested file, go back to the installation and specify the path where you found the file requested and click OK.  Installation can request several files along the way, but you can find them all.

    Here's how my system works when I reinstall SR when I pretend that I don't have a genuine XP bootable installation CD:

    When you are asked:

    SR.sys

    Point the install in c:\windows\system32\drivers

    When you are asked:

    c:\windows\system32\srclient.dll

    Point install it in c:\windows\system32

    When you are asked:

    Filelist. XML

    Point of installation at c:\windows\system32\restore (or c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386)

    When you are asked:

    srframe. MMF

    Point installation c:\windows\system32\dllcache (c:\windows\system32\restore)

    Once installation is complete, you will receive a message that you must restart your computer.

    Restart your computer and look at your schedule of SR.  You should have a new point system control in your calendar.

    When you get SR working again, I ran MBAM and SAS to make sure that your system is reasonably clean of malware.

    The day that you think you need to help the system restore you is not the day to discover the system restore does not work, then you need to test.

    After the reinstallation, manually create a Restore Point and test the restoration process and make sure that you are convinced that it works from one end to the other.

  • Two issues here, 1st system restore will not restore, also wireless do not detect all networks

    System Restore will not work

    Hi FriendFriend,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    3. you receive an error message when running the system restore?

    I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state, and then try to clean boot.

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • Acer Aspire laptop with Vista Home Basic Edition does not, System Restore does not, sfc, find corrupt files but do not repair. Need help!

    Hi, I have an Acer laptop Aspire with Vista Home Basic Edition that came pre-installed, so no records only the disk hard drive partition.

    I turned on my laptop today and it starts but the loading bar of stalls at the black screen with "(c) Microsoft Corporation" and dragging green. The slide bar will continue to drag, but nothing else happens which means that I understand even as much as the login screen. I rebooted and tried Windows recovery, but the only remedy to what he suggests is a restoration of the system, which does not have any point, I try to restore it.

    To remedy this, I have connected in safe mode and ran the SFC command prompt. It scans my system and told to find corrupted files, but he can't heal some. This is where my knowledge limit runs out. I don't know how to fix the files that the SFC cannot. (Also I created a journal using the findstr command prompt and checked but it say anywhere that it was unable to fix it so I'm not even sure how to identify corrupted files)

    As it's an Acer laptop, Aspire I'll try their eRecovery tool to return my computer to factory settings, but it won't work in safe mode, and as I said I can not connect normally. I tried alt and F10 at the initial boot screen when I turn on, it loads the windows files and shows the Acer "Please wait a moment" screen and then nothing happens again.

    I can't afford to get it fixed, and there is no chance I can get a new laptop. Any ideas/help? Thank you.

    Hello everyone once again.

    I found the error. In 'Group search base DN', I've added the name of the security group in the DN (CN = group, OU = vcac, DC = example, DC = local) and it does not work. I removed the CN = Group of DN and it works. She agrees that only the base DN as label.

    Best regards
