  Correct - this forum is a support system-based user community. ON-BOARD staff rarely participate and check no reports of bugs here.

  This issue is finally resolved. After I compared the FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH variables in the environment vs registry Variables, I found I was missing C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\doc\online_help\oracle_forms in the registry. After that I added it it still didn't fix it. Then I found that entry C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_FRHome1\jlib\ewt3.jar was pointing at my old House, so I have fixed to point to Oracle_FRHome instead of Oracle_FRHome1 and my forms launched immediately. • Changes to the help system?

  I use CS Design Standard (ID and PS) 5.5 for quite a while now - using a Macbook Pro under Snow Leopard. In each application, I can access excellent Adobe Help system through the Help menu. This opens the help of Adobe, who works as a browser, showing the built in help, as well as additions only online and videos.

  I just migrated to a new Macbook Pro, running Mountain Lion. I reinstalled CS Design Standard 5.5 and added CS6 Production Premium.

  Now when I open the menu help, all I offer yet a part of menu called 'Photoshop online help' or 'Illustrator aid', but when I select it I'm taken into a pdf file manual. Adobe help is always there on my drive, but it does not launch the system online/offline browser type.

  Someone has an idea of what's going on here? I thought Adobe integrated assistance has been extremely useful and I wouldn't spend you.

  Please try to remove the software, try the CS cleanup tool - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.htmland then try to reinstall again.

  If this does not work you can reformat.  You can then rerun the Upsizing Wizard, this time by choosing only migrate on your documents and your settings and then try to reinstall.

  In general, I've seen users spend hours trying to get back the use of the Migration Wizard.  So don't forget the two options and decide which one is the fastest for you.

• Is the help system online down for CS6?

  I just tried to hit the help of Photoshop and AE in Chrome and IE on two separate workstations, and it seems to be declining.

  The problem has been resolved.  Help launches correctly now.

  You are right; the hard drive is wiped.
  If below do not solve ask your computer manufacturer for their way to do a restore to the factory settings.

  And if you continue to have problems using their recovery system, contact the manufacturer of your computer, because it can be another problem causing the recovery does not work.

  It is their software/recovery process, not Microsoft.

  How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

  See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

  Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

  Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

  You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

  They will tell you how to do this.

  Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

  Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
  A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
  The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

  There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

  If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

• How to link downloads within the help system?

  I have

  Sometimes, I want to add documents to the system help, downloadable PDF, DOCs, Excel spreadsheets, etc.  In Flare I could simply add files and link to them.  I searched in the RoboHelp and can't seem to find the answer to this function?

  I can't add them even without going through the process of import and creation of subjects of documents.

  It sounds simple, but I could use a little help here please.

  Baggage file automatically get grouped in the output so there is no need to do something with them. Regarding the link to the table of contents to a file of baggage, yes it is possible. Create a table of contents page and on the page 'Link To' at the bottom of the dialog box, select file of baggage. Then simply select the required file.

• Reinstall 2002 xp home ed. fixes a bug in the operating system?

  I tried all kinds of repairs, cleaning tools, reinstall .NET Framework 4 and nothing worked to allow .NET Framework 4 install. If I reinstall the original Windows XP Home Edition includes Service Pack 1, has a repair feature will correct the problem? AND if I do that is it possible to create other problems? I first noticed this problem about 6 months ago.

  If you have Windows XP Home Edition as your subject line (xp home edition) States, it is 32-bit. the home edition was not available in a 64-bit version.

  It appears the product links to a help system with outdated information. I was searching for the insertion of information named anchor tags and there is information - but it is not relevant to CC. Is it possible to make a help system that aligns with the current version?  Is the help system itself a deprecated feature?

  Named anchors are deprecated in HTML.  DW them removed from DW CC quite awhile.  Use IDS instead of named anchors.

• "Layout main to generate" not updated of changes for the help file

  I use RoboHelp 6.0 (RoboHelp for Word).  When I create my main layout (WinHelp4) and then view my .hlp file, none of my changes are updated.  The last time I did updates if there is two months and my changes showed the update.

  What is the output?

  In almost all cases like this the end result turns out to be that you (or your username) shows actually is an old copy of the help system that you are probably totally unaware.

  Have you checked double for that?

  I used TestStand "help" to get information about a property that a colleague of mine recommended that I look at, and the research gave "no topics found.  My colleague ran the same search (check the spelling and the parameters are the same) and he got 4-5 topics.  Is there a way to check if I have all the documents/resources help and if I can't how to change?

  If you use TestStand 2012, please upgrade to SP1 of 2012 TestStand, which corrects the problem of search in the help system. You can also access the help of TestStand 2012 on ni.com.

  I bought a copy of DW CS6 a few days ago and installed yesterday. It seems to work ok, but I can't use the help system. I did a search on google and found this:

  Me and my colleague installed the exact version of our software that we will document. We have access to the help system, and we two are looking for the exact term.

  I get results from the main help, but also the merged help there.

  He gets only to the main help.

  Why is he not returning as planned merged Help topics? Any ideas?

  Ah, CHMS merged, you don't mention that although I wondered when I saw on a local installation. Next question is which version of RoboHelp but without worrying about watch using RoboHelp 9 item 13 on my site. I wouldn't mind betting that the parent HHP project has an absolute path in it.
