  I have about the same problem. I use a German version of the Windows 8.1, but for my work, I use keyboards English and Russian, switching between them with standard shortcut keys.

  Hello. for about a week now my Japanese ime in student outlook 2007 version crashes when I try to convert kanji to hiragana (Japanese Chinese characters). I tried to remove and re - add keyboard/IME Japanese but that doesn't work either.
