  As far as I know if you instead of, you just change the keyboard input language. Please click the taskbar with the right button of the mouse and go to Toolbars > and enable the language bar option. On this way, you can see which input language is active.

• When Cantonese input method will be available in Windows 8?

  I launch Windows 8 Pro. I noticed that there is no input method based on the Cantonese available on Windows 8 (Pro) at all. It is a huge disadvantage for the people of Hong Kong, who might want to use an input method based on the jyutping transcription (such as the MS Office 2010 EMI, "Cantonese of Hong Kong" entry). Cangjie, a structural input method, is not so easy to learn; the jyutping input-based (i.e., phonetic) is easier to learn.

     But I need some settings registry keys to do the trick above to me, because it is difficult to do it on the number of PCs that requires users to restrict the swith between input languages.

  I found the place where exactly this may be small :).

  [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Toggle]
  "Hotkey" = "1".
  'Language Hotkey' = '3 '.
  'Shortcut page layout' = '2 '.

  Change the value of "Language Hotkey" accordingly.

  1 sequence of button enabled; Use Left ALT + SHIFT to switch between locales.
  2 key activated sequence; Use CTRL + SHIFT to switch between locales.
  3 invalid key sequences.
  4 If the default locale is Thai, the grave accent key activates / deactivates the input locale. otherwise the keystrokes are disabled.

  Another problem is that it sits under HKCU as well, same as if I pack this setting with MSI, it won't have a any use to me. Since then, installation is done using MSI localadmin account and HKCU is associated with the current session. If a new user who connects to this settting does not apply, and even if it rises "access denied" :(

  It's different. If you chose to use English as the main language on the Meadow, the "Umlaute" is not the first character when you press on the button (a, o, u, s) and SYM.

  BUT: there is a way much easier than on other phones: HOLD DOWN sym and then type a, o, u, s and THEN SYM release. But who needs 2 hands.

  I use the traditional pinyin integrated with pinyin method shuangpin/double mode on MACOSX 10.11.4.
  I'm happy to use it, but I'm very frustrated when inputing the English words with this mode.

  

  for example:
  When I type Chinese word say 你好, 'nor hk' would do the trick. So, I want to insert an English world like 'apple '.
  I get "zhuanpaich" with 轉排除 for entered space and in return.

  I want to use it as bus-pinyin on ubuntu and many other shaungpin method, I can type English Word no press CapsLock shift, switch to English mode.
  Is it possible to config that?

  I have Windows 7 Ultimate and have added Korean via Windows Update.  I also added Korean as an input language, but when I display the properties of the keyboard, it shows the US English provision.  When I switch between them the Korean show language bar but sill make English characters on the screen.  I tried to delete the input languages and uninstall the language pack and reinsert.  I think that the problem is with the properties of the Korean keyboard properties.  How can I fix it?

  I agree, but you need to use Windows Update to install the language adds on.

  As the Korean language pack is apparently installed, this leaves Windows Update out of the picture.

  I just formatted my hard drive & reinstalled windows XP, some drivers Toshiba, McAfee Virsuscanner 8 and MS Office 2007. Everything works fine, except my input from my keyboard.
