  Have you tried this...

  Right-click on the Volume icon in the Notification area > sounds > under program, scroll down until further notice by email, click on it > under sound position, it should be Windows Notify.wav.
  If so, click on test to hear the sound.
  If this is not the case, click on the pointer and scrolling to select. (Stick with Windows Notify.wav if I were you.)
  You can also click Browse and select a different sound. But believe me, the selections of so-called are pitiful.
  Click OK when finished.

• Improvement/Bug? -Email always starts in the "Inbox all the»

  I have two email accounts set up - an IMAP and Exchange. When I start the email it shows me always all messages in my Inbox. I would like to first of all it showing my default account (Exchange, in my case).

  Is this possible? If so, it's a bug or I'm missing something. If this isn't the case, I have it as an improvement of the functionality?

  Just disable all mailboxes to appear in Favorites. Mail will begin with the first Favorites folder.

  I implement notifications by electronic mail with the standard templates (11gr2ps2) IOM. I have configured the Email IT Server resource and emails are sent to "[email protected]" and I read in one of the previous discussions that it's standard email address.

  Is there a way I can change the address of the sender that I want? or I have to write an e-mail customized for this program. I use locale model, so it would be easier if I just change the address of the sender, otherwise I'll write a custom program.

  We had the problem after upgrade to 5.0 APEX, we got an 'error in checksum message Notification content"instead of the login message failed when entering a wrong user name or password when you connect to our application. We could reproduce the problem on our own servers, apex.oracle.com and www.maxapex.com with application created under the APEX 4.2. After a while the search for the cause, I compared a sample application by a faulty filter and discovered that the automatic time zone setting (Modify Application Properties globalization) has been set to 'yes' instead of 'no' of the sample application. After changing the value 'no', after a connection failure error messages has worked very well. But I couldn't not to turn the defective application example be Auto setting of the time zone to "yes". So I guess it's a problem of upgrading legacy applications 5.0 and 5.0.1. Try https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=43399 and enter some users of nonsense / pw.

  Hi Christian,

  Thanks for the research of this issue. I filed bug #21435330 for that matter. It is caused by escaping into the JavaScript code for the detection zone, which modifies the text of the notification and makes it so different from the original text that has been calculated for the checksum for.

  By default, vCenter Server is not configured to send notifications by e-mail. Set the system server account and SMTP sender to receive an email when the store of data use alarm is triggered.

  Email notification is entirely dependent on the preference of the notification of the user. If the preference is MAIL * is to say MAILHTML MAILATTH, MAILTEXT, MAILHTM2, and then send will be sent, other wise if the preference is the QUERY, DISABLED then no e-mail will be sent.   I found the solution...

  Create a custom model notificiation, which involves the following,

  (1) define the events that is done using an XML file

  (2) create a resolver class that implemented oracle.iam.notification.impl.NotificationEventResolver

  (3) create plugin.xml

  Now in the resolver class, even if we include the password as a security attribute, the value be appear not in the body of the e-mail once received. Therefore, use SQL query to retrieve the encrypted table USR password and decrypt and add Notificationdata that will be returned by the getReplacedData() method.

• Human Workflow Notifications emails - these turn off?

  We built an application that uses Oracle BPM and sginificant number of human tasks. We have also set up notifications by e-mail to enable SOA send emails through our framework of generic fault.
  
  The question we have is as a result, we now send Notifications of tasks to users in the Group of the performer of the task for each task created. This is because LDAP users their email set properties. It cannot be deleted because it is based on LDAP / AD.
  
  Is there to allow emails be sent via Notifications by e-mail, but disable the Notifications of tasks Human Workflow? Unless I'm missing something fundamental, I don't see a way to do this.

  If you look at the Notification tab on your human tasks, you can remove by default to assign, Complete, and error notifications. This will prevent anyone to get notifications of human workflow for these tasks.

  SMTP server: smtp.1and1.com

  Account of the sender: [email protected]

  Port is the default port: 25

  Also, I checked the connection to the server vCenter to the mail server using telnet smtp.1and1.com 25 orders that he very well connected and the display of the text.

  Sorry for not getting you back earlier.

  I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to achieve here... you need send alerts emails to an external or internal address?  I noticed your sender address is configured as @opticalfusion.com, this is the area of the addresses you want to send alerts to?

  Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure that Outlook Express is not going to be able to do what you want.  The SMTP component in vCenter is simply a SMTP client and needs to communicate with an SMTP server listens on a particular port (usually 25), however OE does not provide this functionality.

  My guess would be that your access service and internet electronic mail are provided by different companies, and you try to connect to the server smtp 1and1 via a connection that is not approved, he refuses to relay.  I suggest that you try to use the SMTP server that provide your ISP, so your connection must be approved and he should be happy to relay email for you.
