Hi @WadeDunham,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that you have a broken with your printer LaserJet CP1025NW part. I am pleased to see that for you!

According to the site http://partsurfer.hp.com/ , this part doesn't seem to be available. Most likely, if there is a piece broken with the printer, the printer itself will need to be replaced/repaired. Please contact HPtelephone support for further assistance. Hello

I have my pavilion dv4 laptop dx-1551 for more than 2 years. Recently, I had trouble with the AC adapter. The loading icon does not show that the computer is connected to the power outlet, even when the jack light is on (which is unstable). Problem is, when the icon does not appear, the computer is running on battery power, and I can hardly connect to the socket. The AC adapter seems to work, but I have to stay connected on and outside, until he finally turns the icon...

I've already updated the BIOS, as I read in other topics on the forum. Any other ideas? Buy a new power adapter solve the problem?

    Thank you!

That's why I asked you that.question to help solve the problem.

The DC Jack that the adapter plugs into the laptop has problems. It must be replaced to solve the problem.

The icon will not appear, because not enough current going circuits charginging/power on the motherboard.

    Thank you very much

    Tim

    Hi Tim,.

I'm sorry to hear that there is still no progress.

We will try to use another Postscript driver and check any changes:

First, download the universal print driver for your operating system.

Be sure to use the driver for your operating system type:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02002390

    Windows 7 32-bit:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL40842/DS-99375-2/UPD-PS-x32-5.4.0.11744.exe

    Windows 7 64-bit:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL40842/DS-99376-2/UPD-PS-x64-5.4.0.11744.exe

Follow the installation by selecting the traditional way.

During the configuration, select the same port used by the standard printer driver.

You can find the port used by right clicking on the icon of the printer, select the printer properties and enter the tab Ports, the same port checked for the pritner should be selected for the driver to the UPD.

Once that is done, try to print by using the universal print driver and check any change.

    Kind regards

  • LaserJet P2035: Problems with a LaserJet P2035

I have two HP LaserJet P2035 and both will send jobs not from the paper tray.  They two fine prints from the manual feed tray 1.  When I close the manual feed tray 1 and try to use the paper in the paper tray, the paper light keeps blinking and will not clear. I have performed the update of the firmware on the two units that made no difference.  I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.  Thank you!!

Thank you freginold.   I found the culprit.  I have slightly bent a metal cross bar support located under the paper tray upward toward the printer.  This bar triggers the lifting of the paper tray mechanism to lift the paper in place and of course, there was no contact. This solves the problem.

  • Color HP Color Laserjet 2500 problem

    Helloo!

I have a problem with my HP Color Laserjet 2500. I use Windows 7 Professional 32 bit computer. Installed the driver from the hp support, because the CD that came with the printer, is only for XP / 2000/me etc. I've tried both, the driver PC5 and PC6, still the same problem.

I can print, but I have a problem and a few questions.

Problem: Sometimes it only prints yellow, sometimes only magneta. Sometimes, it combines blue and magneta and black and yellow on the leaves. And sometimes, it prints all colors. I could tell that almoust 50% of the time, it prints normally. When it doesn't, it prints as I have highest desicribed, in all the different possibilities, sometimes does not print Yellow not, magneta, blue or black. Sometimes it does not print two colors, rearly prints only 1 color and even more rearly (happened about 2 - 3 times) it does not print anything. He has for years a problem since I have it connected to the computer with Win7, but initially, it worked great. Then sometimes he screwed 1 document for a moment, then 2, then 3 in a week. But now it has little more than 50% of the documents that it messes up.

ABOVE 1: it seems that when I choose printing preferences in the computer, it displays a different language, I think it is Arab! Written from right to left. How can I change this?

Qouestion 2: I can't find my product serial number. When I print the configuration page, it says printer serial number: CNHDD06356, but when I post in the HP Chat Support, it gives me error. What am I supposed to do?

If solve you my problem, I buy you a beer when we meet!

    PS. what I tried:

    Cold reset.

    Different drivers.

New wireless USB from the printer to the computer.

All cartridges have more than 40% of ink in them. Black 44, 97, 76 and yellow magneta 97% cyan.

Imaging drum is practically new, shows 93%.

    Clean the printer inside.

Added a little WD40 on the moving parts.

Now, I hope you can help me...

    Hello again!

    I SOLVED IT!

Who has ever, when the function will have the same problem, here is how I fixed it (sorry for my English not so good):

I googeled a little more and found a topic in a forum:

    http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/printer/68382

    http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/printer/63372#1

And then I saw a video here:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=9BoxmagIjhg

    What I did:

Taken apart from the printer. All the plastic covers. I think that I had to only take 2 screws, at HEC, blankets. I not only took down of it where you put the paper in the coverage, I have has no need of.

Coverage where you put the color inside was tips. The cover communicates with the other gear, so you have to remove it. To remove it, there is this small black gear inside the printer. In the center of the gable, there is a buttonish thing, you'll have to push in the side, from the Center to the periphery to remove the sprocket and then you will be able to remove the plastic cover.

Then I did as it is shown in the video:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=9BoxmagIjhg

You will need to clean this thing "solenoid". I used a small knife to scrape two parts index. He was supposed to be a felt, but I don't have it anymore, and it is wat was caousing it.

IMPORTANT: My feelings of the solenoid was cone so I replaced it with Ribbon. I cut a little drops out of an adhesive and clued/wrapped ribbon around the solenoid. It is recommended, however, that you idea a little felt back in there, but I didn't, so I used Ribbon.

Then I put all the pieces together and it worked!

You can not believe my happiness, when he began to print each document correctly. I had this problem for a while, and incredibly, it worked.

If you have the same problem, I hope that this trick of yours will also solve.

  • HP LaserJet 4100: Problem with the universal print driver

    Desktop: HP Envy 700-214

    OS: 10 64-bit Windows

Printer: HP LaserJet 4100 (with a USB to parallel cable)

I was able to properly use my LaserJet for Windows 8.1 through my Windows 10 crossing (which I upgraded to about 18 months ago).  Quite recently, I welcomed Windows Installer a upgrade, and at this time there, I lost my ability to print.   It has been on my default printer, but gave an error message when I tried to print.

I tried to "Add a printer" and selected the HP 4100 connected to the LPT1 port.  It would not print a test page, and the printer does not like in the reception of data.

I then tried to install the (PCL6 and Postscript) universal print driver with similar lack of results.

I tried uninstallinDeg and reinstall the drivers, but once again no joy.  Incidentally, although I'm going to Device Manager > printing queues and remove the drivers, when I set up an application like Word and select the Menu printing, many copies of drivers rest yet.  When I go to remove them using the printui/s/T2, it is said that they are currently in use and cannot be deleted.

Yet once again, I repeat - it is not a hardware problem because everything worked well before Windows upgrade.  I just need to find a way to reinstall a driver who will speak to my printer.  It of frustrating because I was able to do that before, but may not know what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello GaryLynn,

You saw did a lot of things to try to solve this issue.

However the USB to parallel isn't anHP officially supported connection type.

in any case, what suggests I´d, is that you try this:

    • Unplug the hybrid cable that you use
    • Uninstall all copies of the printer and its duplicates.
    • Stop the print spooler by using the services on windows (type on cortana services.msc) locate print spooler and stop it
    • Go to run and coil type, look at the Printers folder and delete all the files that are there (if any)
    • Restart the spooler to print services.
    • Download and install this driver package
      http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=FP-148007-1
    • Turn on your printer and connect the cable.

After this exercise, check to see if windows 10 has managed to find the best driver to use your printer.
If widows did not automatically find it, try the manual on add a Printer Wizard.

If not reading as LPT1, check ports either USB00 ' # ' or a port DOT4, those who should be the ports to use.

I hope this helps you get your printer going again.

    Thank you

  • HP LaserJet 3200 - problem with printing ink, hoof?

Product name & OS: HP LaserJet 3200 all-in-One / Windows XP

When a page prints, there is a gap that occurs on the page that runs the entire length of the page where there is text.  It's like a line, but not a line... the opposite in fact.  Everywhere where there should be text/ink, he is absent.  Gap space is the equivalent of one letter of text width.  Once the page is printed, when you look at the page, it has the appearance of a line of ink missing from the top of the page toward the bottom of the page.  It's as if there's a filibuster any.

In addition, this only happens in copy mode, NOT print mode.  Specifically, everything I print from my computer comes out perfect with no problems.  It's only the pages I put in the feeder and press the copy that eventually this problem.  Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

    Hello selectmarketing,

  • LaserJet M1212nf: Problems setting up wireless printing

I can set up to print from my laptop with a USB connection to the printer. I want to be able to print when away from my office, so have tried for 2 years, on and off, to get my printer to print wireless. I spent probably 10 + hours trying to get this set up. In the end, I always end up having to reinstall the printer with the same old USB connection.

It drives me crazy. I'm a tech writer for a society of software and very savvy in computer science. However, my non-techie family have all managed to set up wireless printing at their home in 5 minutes or less with different brands of printers.

Here are the steps that I followed, although I also tried many variations, like trying with my USB cable connected or disconnected.

    (1) uninstall the current installation of the printer (USB).

    (2) on the printer itself, make sure that the settings > network settings are the default values.

    (3) using the latest drivers and installation .exe from the HP site, start a new installation of the printer.

    (4) when you are prompted, select "wireless."

RESULT: even if my firewall is turned OFF, search and indicates that he is there any printer on the network. (Huh? Which network?)

    (5) try again once and this time select "Network Setup."

RESULT: even if my firewall is turned OFF, search and says that it cannot detect a network.

If the wireless installation requires a network, but network installation does not cause a network to install, I don't know where to go from here.

    (6) I also tried downloading and installing the ePrint utility, but when I'm at halfway through the installation, it tells me that it cannot find my printer.

I am suspicious that my model M1212nf MFP may even not allow for wireless printing. Some info on the HP site says to check a particular button lights up to indicate that the printer is online. This light does not exist on my printer model. However, the parameters of the printer from my physics has parameters such as: "show IP address," etc., which would lead me to believe that it can work wireless.

I have read all the help related HP printer, and there is nothing which explains, in simple language, what are the types of cables, I need to set up a network and the Wi - Fi connection, when to plug them in, what facilities to perform on the many Add - ons available, etc.. I don't know that it's a 5 minute process if there was just a good explanation in the help of the UP of how do. Assistance would be appreciated!

    Hello @SKYdiz,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have had problems for the last 2 years and spent many hours trying to configure your HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf MFP for wireless printing. At this point I'll provide more information about it. First of all, are sitting you?

Unfortunately, the HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf multifunction printer isn't a model wireless printer. The "nf" at the end of the name of the printer is the abbreviation of 'network, fax. Therefore, if your printer is not able to connect to your router wireless, it CAN connect with an ethernet cable.

All you need to do is connect an ethernet cable to the back of your printer to your router. That all devices connected to this router even (whether through wireless or wired ethernet connections) would be able to 'see' your printer on the network and print it on your printer. For more information on configuring ethernet on your printer, please visit: Setup the printer to a wired network in Windows 7 for HP's LaserJet printers.

Now, if an ethernet connection does not work in your specific network, HP makes other Laserjet models that do not use the wireless function. Here are two LaserJet who are black only, multifunction wireless units that resemble your current printer model: HP LaserJet MFP HP LaserJet MFP M225dw Pro and M127fw Pro.

Please let me know if this clears up any confusion. If you have other questions or concerns, I'll be more than happy to help you. Happy new year!

Standart windows 7 fax-program can not find the driver for my HP Laserjet 3050 all-in-One printer fax-modem. How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

What type of operating system are you using?

For Windows 7 32-bit, it is possible to install the full feature software Vista using compatibility mode:

    http://bizsupport1.Austin.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/document.jsp?objectID=c02096212

For Windows 7 64-bit however there no all the features available.

You can use the In-OS driver that will provide your printing and basic scan feature via USB connection only, since the PC faxing is not supported for the specific version of the OS:

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/document.jsp?&objectID=c02536257

If you are not sure of your operating system type, you can follow the steps below to identify it easily:
