Bug: "Notification message content error checksum" on automatic connection caused EIB failed zone set to yes

Hi all!

We had the problem after upgrade to 5.0 APEX, we got an 'error in checksum message Notification content"instead of the login message failed when entering a wrong user name or password when you connect to our application. We could reproduce the problem on our own servers, apex.oracle.com and www.maxapex.com with application created under the APEX 4.2. After a while the search for the cause, I compared a sample application by a faulty filter and discovered that the automatic time zone setting (Modify Application Properties globalization) has been set to 'yes' instead of 'no' of the sample application. After changing the value 'no', after a connection failure error messages has worked very well. But I couldn't not to turn the defective application example be Auto setting of the time zone to "yes". So I guess it's a problem of upgrading legacy applications 5.0 and 5.0.1. Try https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=43399 and enter some users of nonsense / pw.

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the research of this issue. I filed bug #21435330 for that matter. It is caused by escaping into the JavaScript code for the detection zone, which modifies the text of the notification and makes it so different from the original text that has been calculated for the checksum for.

    1. Restart your modem and/or router.

    2. Perform factory reset for 3 times by pressing the HOME button, and then click Setup (brief case icon) > reset > reset to factory default settings.

    3. Rerun the Network Setup.

    I have a small business site, which continues to be the "content error corrupted". I have read a lot of information on the support forums about it and tried many bugs, but have not been able to find the exact cause of the problem. I decided to post a question given that the page will load sometimes properly, but when I click on the button reload error occurs. If I can use ctrl-F5 again the page loads correctly.     I want to switch to Chrome, Firefox, but I have a problem with the synchronization feature.

    I finally found a solution to this problem of synchronization:

    Hello unparadomas, try this to reset the page to the new tab manually: enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & get preference named browser.newtab.url - right click and restore the default value for that entry.

    You can also run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that this change was not caused by adware or that it is present in other parts of the system as well.

    You seem to have set up the synchronization to store data on the server to be able to share these data with other devices.

    If you do not want to use Sync, then you can disconnect (untie) your computer.

    Hi, I started recently a problem with the sync on my desk. My partner Android and Mac laptop no problems when you attempt to synchronize, but office always gives the same error. I tried to disconnect from the desktop computer, erase all files, restart and then adding the Office to synchronize once more, but the error persists.

    All bookmarks on the desktop disappeared, but are still in my sync data and have no problem being viewed on other connected devices. It also tells me that the issue is not the sync server and that there is something unique to the desktop machine.

    I hope that this will not require a reinstall, but if all else fails, it's an option. I'll try to attach a log file once I put the question.

    Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problems.

    If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

    Netflix has worked for months, but for about a week, I don't see is a content error when you try to play a movie.     I could make it work. Don't know which is fixed or if it was a combination of the two. But what I ended up doing is, I went to settings, network, refresh Internet Content. Who has not fixed it. But I have turned off, then turn off the power switch on the TV. Save power and now its work. The Netflix menu is different now, but in a much better way. And it plays movies without any problem.

    You have apparent dbx file corruption. A common problem.
     
    Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.
     
    Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
     
    In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
     
    With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.
     
    After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.
     
    Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
     
    General precautions for Outlook Express:
     
    Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

    I have a HP Pavilion dv2700 - kh933ea laptop computer #abv (it is a HP Pavilion dv2799ee Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC to be exact) that displays the message "system CMOS checksum failed. Press F1 to continue"every time you start the system. My OS is Windows 7 / 32 bit.

    Then I updated my BIOS to version 2.4e, 01-dec-08 Phoenix (the SMBIOS version remained the same before 2.4), but the issue is not resolved. I have attached a screenshot for processor and BIOS versions.

    Can someone guide me on how to solve this problem?

    I don't see the screenshot of your post attachments. Please repost them.

    This error message means that WHAT BIOS is damaged. You will need to have the BIOS flashed in a mobile shop, repair a BIOS or an HP Service Center. Do a search online with Google or Bing repair for a BIOS.  If you keep trying to update the BIOS there will come a time where everything you have a black screen.

    Hi all

    I was wondering if someone could explain the use cases for "Bug Notification Emails".  I signed up for bug all telepresence product reviews and I get emails wrong.  However, virtually all the bugs I click details I get the following error:

    "Bug that csctr80189 belongs to a project of the excluded."

    For example, the bug above number should do with IE & the page Web of VCS.  However, even after opening a ticket with Cisco, I still can't all details on the bug except that it exists.  In addition, why would this be "excluded" of the population; Looks like a really basic bug to hide.

    Looking at previous discussions on this forum, it seems that bug details are on a 'need to know' basis  Which is fine, but why offer the system in the first place then?

    I'm working on assistance of telepresence for a Distributor and be able to discover quickly that a bug exists without having to call every time that Cisco would be useful.

    I also increased several tickets only to find out a few days later it is now a known bug.  If I had access to 90% of the bugs I could save several days of time for me, Cisco and our customers.

    Is there some kind of email address or a system where I can put a number of bugs and retrieve the details within a reasonable time?

    Here is an update of the latest news:

    1. Bugs will continue to exist in the two old Bug Toolkit & new Bug search tool. The back-end data sync would be on a daily basis for both systems.
    2. Identified problem has now been fixed in upstream systems. CSCtr80189 and other bugs on similar products must therefore visible in the new Bug search tool also now.
