Bug WiFi

anyone else have problems with wifi with the Bionic? I searched and see people have problems connecting to different access points, but I have a different problem. When I turn on the wifi radio, it takes forever to enter the access point that I'm close. I could be sitting next to. This happens at home and at work with acess points, so there is no consistency here. When I turn on the Wifi, the small icon above is sometimes even for 4 or 5 minutes. It's a very long latency time. I can turn off wifi and back on a few times, but does not seem to make it all faster. Once I finally see the icon it immediately connects to the access points. I even stay connected as I should for a long period of time, with the screen of the phone going off, etc.. It's just this first initial research and radio alarm clock that takes a lot of time. All this experience?

Since then, whenever I pass in airplane mode to disable Wifi, energy mode gets automatically changed. Is it possible to disable this? The release notes say "added the registry settings to disable the functions of automatic detection of the power plane Mode." If someone knows where is this registry setting?

I tried to report it to the Linksys technical support.  Their response was to reload the firmware.  That I did - but it does not change the behavior of this SSID bug.  I asked them to report it as a bug and the Lady declined.

    Hello:

Some members of the forum reported to solve the problems of loss of connection with this card by installing the driver and proset instead of just the driver package only.

The last file on the list would be what you want to try...

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24220

Insofar as a replacement card, I don't know if your model has this feature of white list of BIOS.

If this is the case, you wouldn't be able to install one of the cards described in Chapter 3 of the manual of your PC and they must have the part number HP on it or it won't work.

If the laptop was made last year or so, you can probably install any wireless card you want as it appears that HP has done away the white list of BIOS locking not wireless cards supported.  See the thread below...

  • iMessage/Facetime activation on iOS 10 bug

    Hello

The bug appeared after the first intentional reboot after iOS 10 updated, my iPhone 5 has been disconnected for a few hours. When it started I started to receive petitions of iM/FT on reboot or a random time after even if iM/FT completely!

I did not move my SIM card. If I refuse to activate iM I can't see my phone number in the Contacts section.

The same bug persists on the iPhone of my 5s wife while his phone has never been disconnected except 10.0.2 update.

    Hi Valsh,

Here is how to fix iMessage / FaceTime activation do not question.

Before you begin, you'll need sort these things:

    • Make sure that in the phone application, you got your registered number. On top of "Contacts", you should see your registered number (My Number :). If not, you will need to go to settings → → my phone number and enter your number.
    • Make sure that the Date and time (in general) are correct. Set to "Set automatically" to ensure that the time zone is correct and the iPhone is at the right time.
    • Also make sure you have a working network. Problems of Wi - fi can cause iMessage activation problems therefore have active cell.
For some users, the message for activation goes out as an international SMS. Make sure that your carrier allows these and you have a sufficient amount to send them.

    1. contact your operator

First of all, make sure that your carrier supports iMessage or not. Contact the support team of carrier and check any condition limiting on your iMessage, blocks or text filters.

    2. airplane mode

As strange as it sounds, maybe you should try this method if nothing else works. We found the airplane mode activation mode in one of the discussions. It sounds simple, and if it is correct, it would be nice, right?

    Here's how it works:

Step #1. Get off at scroll → settings touch Messages and turn offiMessage (also turn off FaceTime)

Step #2. Turn on airplane mode. WiFi will be disabled automatically.

    Step #3: Turn ON Wifi.

Step #4. Return to Messages and ignition iMessage.

Step #5. You will be prompted for your Apple ID if you have not yet added it. (otherwise, you get no notification)

Step #6. Now, go back to the settings and disable airplane mode.

Step #7. For the most part, you will see a notification that says "your carrier may charge for SMS" - press OK

Step #8. If this is not the case, go to Messages, disable iMessage and then turn on again.

Step #9. In a few moments, iMessage should be enabled.

Step #10. You will see a greyed number and e-mail ID. A little later, the number should be checked, and that's all.

    3 Apple ID disconnect, connect

Sometimes, you just need to logout of your identifier Apple and then sign in again.

Step #1. Under Settings → Message, scroll up to where it says 'Send and receive'and tap on it.

Step #2. Type on the Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.

Step #3. Now turn off iMessage.

Step #4. Wait for a while (toggle Wifi) and then turn on the iMessage.

Step #5. Enter the details of your Apple ID now and try to reactivate iMessage

    4. set or restore

If things do not work, you must first reset the settings of your location, then the iPhone. Reset is just a force so restart your data stays secure. After the reset, you will just connect with your Apple and implementing iMessage like new.

If this fails, you may need to restore the iPhone as new or from a backup.

    Hope this helps,

    See you soon.

  • iTunes crashes if its wifi network does not have access to the internet

    Hi all.

I'm running a 13 "mac book pro with OS X El Capitan.

I have a very specific problem of iTunes which is really bugging me.  I'm a pro saxophone player and part of my job is performed as a soloist with playbacks on my mac.  To avoid having to walk to the mac to start the track to accompany each song, I use a tablet on a stand that I can place anywhere in the room.  I've set up a router next to the mac that the mac and the tablet of connect to, and I run "retune" on the Tablet (I think it's that his name) which is a wifi iTunes remotely.  Installation is really smart cos he allows me to choose new avenues of selection from anywhere in the room instead of walking back and forwards to the mac every time.

The problem I have is that sometimes maybe (1 to 5 times), I have a real problem from iTunes when the mac is connected to a wifi network that has no real internet connection.  I'm sure that iTunes detects wifi connection and then tries to access the internet to connect with the store.  When he is not in the store it just crashes and I get the spinning wheel of death.  Most of the time, I can simply restart the program several times and finally he decided to play ball, but it's a real pain.  And I did a concert yesterday where he would not have enough, no matter what I did.  If I had no choice but to turn off the router and keep walking to the mac for each song.

I can't find a setting anywhere on iTunes that can disable the connection to the store and I really am stuck.

I also tried alternative programs (I used Clementine briefly but I just found it too flakey to be invoked) and so I am open to others suggests.  But I need a player who has a remote app that I can use on my tablet.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I use an older version of iTunes and in the preferences a lot, I can disable Store, Radio, sharing services, probably genius if I got it. Check all your preferences settings including those you think don't matter such as parental preferences (this is where the store is hidden on mine).  Realize also that iTunes has turned into a simple multimedia player to a 75% of sales and marketing as well as the do-it-all tool (aka bloatware) try too many at once and developers can't even imagine someone (i.e. the daily target user) use it without Internet.  Add on that you try to use an application to control iTunes and something like that is likely to misbehave, willy nilly whenever Apple launches an update.

Don't forget with wi - fi you are subject to interfering signals other wi - fi services in the region or the stage equipment.

  • WiFi does not connect if the SSID is not broadcast.

I've updated to Sierra this afternoon. Everything seemed fine after the update. After dinner, my MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, beginning 2013) would not connect to Wifi. I reduced to a few things.

It wouldn't connect the 5 GHz n If the SSID has been hidden. If I admitted the SSID to shown, it would connect without problems. It would connect to the 2 GHz band, even with the hidden SSID.

I did the typical SMC reset and reset the NVRAM. I deleted the files related wifi and restarted the router and the MBP. I'm obviously on now and the speed seems normal with no dropouts. I can't hide the SSID now and will continue to work until he's asleep; No dice after that without reactivation SSID broadcast.

    Any thoughts?

    See you soon,.

  • WiFi in the Sierra of MacOS

After that upgrade to Mac OS Sierra Wireless keeps disconnecting after computer wakes up from his sleep.

Is it something to do with the settings or is this a bug?

    Thank you

    Idan

You must update the Wi - Fi preferences. Simply remove those that you have now. Click on any empty space on the desktop, and then press command + SHIFT + G. Now enter this directory: / Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration /

In the open folder, delete these files:

    com Apple.Airport.Preferences.plist
    com.Apple.Network.identification.plist
    com Apple.WiFi.message - draw .plist
    NetworkInterfaces.plist
    Preferences.plist

After these files are gone, restart your Mac, as well as your Wi - Fi router.

  • TVOS10 Bug: an error occurred loading this content

I have two 4 AppleTV devices.  It has updated to TVOS10, while the other did not.  Who has updated gives the error in the subject of this post and also won't play in PLEX.  No hardware changes have been made.  Both connect to the same iTunes library.  Unit not modernized plays everything fine.  The only difference between the two boxes is the upgrade to TVOS10.  I restarted and restored to the factory settings of the device being upgraded without effect.  I rebooted wifi, iTunes, computer, iTunes is on.  Once again, to no effect.

    Here are the questions:

    1. is this a known bug which will be hopefully resolved quickly?

    2. is there a way to return the AppleTV 4 to a lower version of the OS?

    3. is there a way to return the AppleTV 4 for a version non - TVOS 10?

4 are the 4 AppleTV in the store upgraded to 10?  If it's not I could throw it and buy another, but never upgrade.

    5. What is the cause of this message?

    No bug

    NO.

  • GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth problems

So I have an iPhone 6 running on IOS 9.3.4 and have had problems with the GPS and the strength of wifi connectivity and bluetooth for a while now.

First of all, the GPS.  It does not work.  When I run the maps or google maps on my device and the input an address the app can give me a written plan, location, but will not show me on a map.  He'll start road to everywhere where I go and tell me to start position, for example, to the North on the road on that I am, but the arrow does not follow me and tell me when the turn or where I am.  Occasionally, he has a message of guidance down with a spinning wheel and then, after a few seconds, disappears.  I tried to reboot my device several times, I have reset the network setting, I reset all of the settings, I backed up my phone, reset it and recovered save him.  Nothing has worked.  I was at my local verizon store and received a 'new' (its definitely refurbished) phone and the problem persists on the new phone.  I reset the phone to factory setting without content, set up as a new phone and tried the cards again, thinking it might be a problem with the back to the top.  It still does not work.  I'm perplexed right now and do not know what to do/try.

Second, wifi and bluetooth connectivity is terrible.  I can only receive a wireless signal so that in very close proximity with the router.  I tried to different houses/companies and it is the same question.  However, bluetooth is just as bad.  I use headphones wireless, and go to the gym/go for the route with them.  I used to be able to walk around the gym without my phone and have connected the headphones, but now I can't have my phone 2 feet of the appliance without the music being agitated (bad connection).  I'm really irritated that I cannot understand this point and that he can't seem to find a fixed solution online.

If you have just updated to iOS 9.3.4, which I didn't even know still shone, so maybe it's a bug that comes with the update. However, your problems seem to follow a trend, you can not far from a source of connection and now a signal. It is perhaps because the necessary components for the Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi signal are damaged or defective. Have you dropped or spilled liquid on your iPhone recently?
