  I bought a Dell XPS M1530 Laptop on a couple of years and now I'm having a problem with my webcam that is built into my computer. I should mention that there was a time not to long ago I was in line, and all of a sudden my computer went black and turned off the coast of himself. When the computer restarts, a black screen appears and a list began to form and it seems that random when being removed from the files. I panicked and turned off my computer immediately.   My Dell XPS M1530 laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit. 2 days ago the bluetooth module could not detect all BT devices at all. I had been using a Dell BT travel mouse for 2 years now n it cannot be detected. It is the same for all the other BT devices I turn on. The sign of BT device on the status bar indicates that BT works well, but my other BT devices cannot detect the laptop, mouse. I read something on the net about the Office 2007 updates causes this problem. I tried uninstalling the WIDCOMM software n put it back in place, but nothing seems to work. I'm running true n of Windows Office 2007. Pls help thanks!

  Make sure that Windows is configured to accept incoming Bluetooth connections.

  Step 1
  You can check the compatible devices Bluetooth configuration panel. Here's how:

  1. Click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and sound, and then click Bluetooth devices.
  2. Click the Options tab, select the allow the devices to connect to this computer check box, and then click OK.

  If this step does not help, try the next step.

  Step 2

  Remove and then reinstall the device:

  1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click Bluetooth devices.

  2 Select the device that is not working, and then click Remove.

  3. click on Add, press the reset button on the unit (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found and then click Next.

  4. If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.

  5. follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

  ·         Make sure that the device is on and that the batteries should be replaced.

  ·         Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter for your computer is attached and turned on, and that the device is in use and detectable. If you don't know how to turn on discoverability, read the instructions provided with the device or check the manufacturer's Web site.

  I have recently reinstalled windows because last year I picked up a few errors that I couldn't fix it easily and I wanted a clean slate.

  I have install all the drivers etc, but I noticed on my keyboard, if I try and make a "sign it comes up with a sign @ and vice versa." There are also others like that, so I guess that my keyboard readers need to update? Although I have no idea why they would need updating as they were before.

  Anyway, I went here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&ServiceTag=&SystemID=XPS_M1530&os=WLH&osl=en&catid=&impid= and I tried to find the driver I need, but could not find them.

  So, overall, my question is should I update the drivers? If so, how?

  Was is happening until you have reinstalled Windows?

  How do you reinstall Vista, what steps did you take?

  What is a wireless keyboard?

  If this is the case, check the batteries and make sure that the keyboard is very close to the receiver (a few inches) to see if the problem resolves.

  I suggest updating your anti-virus definitions and run a fun system scan.

  You can connect another keyboard to your computer to see if it might be the fault of the keyboard?

  I realized that I wasn't dragging hybrid HARD drive in the correct position, I had to keep a little high, and he fell just in place in the Bay with a single click...

I tried to download the drivers from Dell Web site, but who moved it - it comes up with this message: "the device could not be detected. Installation interrupted.

  Hi, thanks for all your suggestions. I tried to look at all the possibilities in terms of manually install the drivers, but nothing has worked.

  So in the end I bought a USB key external wi - fi and with that, I managed to connect to the internet. Once connected, the laptop must have then auto-téléchargé the right driver for the internal modem, because a few days later, I managed to connect to the internet even without needing the key external wi - fi.

  I have several family tapes I want to transfer directly into my Dell M1530 xps.  I plugged one end of the cable into the headphone jack of the audio cassette player and the other end in making portable computer microphone.  In the Panel, I put the default line.  But I can't get any sound from the speakers.  I have the software loaded on your laptop to sound recording Audacity, but when I try to record from cassette player I get an error message to check my input device.  The cassette player earphone Jack works very well, and the audio cable is a brand-new cable Mediabridge, so I'm pretty confident that they are not the problem.  Can someone help me get these tapes loaded on my laptop?   The company is Sigmatel bankruptcy before 7 came out, then you just use the version of Vista but install in 7 using the Vista compatibility mode. Download the audio driver and extract the files (unzip or decompress and take note of the name of the folder created) but cancel the installation process. Go to the folder on the hard disk to which you have unpacked the driver files. Find the setup.exe file and right-click on it. Select Properties. Find the Compatibility tab and select Vista.

  Some owners of XPS m1530 succeeded with the IDT R226903 audio driver which is a version 7. If you want to try it, download and unzip the files in c:\Dell\drivers\R226903 but cancel installation. Then go in for the audio controller device manager (under "sound, video and game controllers"). Right-click on it and choose Update driver. Select to manually locate the driver and let Windows not seek. Find c:\Dell\drivers\R226903, and then click "next".

  The product key on the COA sticker that is can only be used on this PC for clean reinstall Windows 7   It is the best possible installation you may have.

  To resell you can run Dell Windows 7 PC Restore to wipe it is cleaner instead, or create a new account Admin-level accounts of user called owner, then delete your user account after you back up all your files. This becomes not only your visible but all your hidden user accounts App and program of personal data.  If you want to put them all in a folder of the user on the desktop for you to sort through, then you can delete once you are sure.

  As a final step I install CCleaner and run it is button run Cleaner, then it is tab register to find problems and clean them.

  I just ordered a new laptop of XPS 1530 M with the best player available from the date of the order that was 200 GB 7200 RPM SATA HD.  Order is still in production.  Since the order, Dell offers 250 GB 7200 RPM SATA on new XPS M 1530 years from their new email for current promotions.  Is anyway for me to ask Dell to improve my XPS M1530 in the Production of 200 GB 7200 RPM sata to the newly offered 250 GB 7200 RPM.  I'd be happy to pay the difference.

  I just installed Windows 7 on my M1530, and everything works perfectly... EXCEPT bluetooth.  I downloaded the drivers from the website of dell (for 32-bit vista), but when I try to install it says "press Fn + F2 or turn on the wireless switch.  The wireless switch is already on, and I press Fn + F2, but in vain.  It worked fine on Vista Home Premium 32 bit.  I tried running the installer in compatibility also mode, nothing works.

  Hi, I had a problem with my video card on my xps m1530

  I was unable to connect an external monitor to my laptop (via HDMI or VGA), and I thought initially that he needed my drivers updated or re-setup. So far, however, no matter what hotfix attempt has been a catastrophic failure, and now I think that it is a hardware malfunction any.

  There is no separate in this model - video card is a chip on the motherboard.   Since it seems that yours has failed, you will need to replace the motherboard to fix the system.

  Good so I have this laptop Dell XPS L502X that I bought in 2012. The laptop provided with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition.

  His output HDMI for my Sony LED used previously to work properly.

  But there are a few months that those offered by Microsoft, I upgraded my OS from Windows 7 Home edition to Windows Home Edition 10 laptop.  Since the upgrade, everything worked fine except I don't get HDMI output to my TV.

  I tried to search for solutions online but do not know what could be the problem? Can someone guide me in the right direction please?

  I am happy to update this thread, the problem of my laptop screen is displayed using HDMI on my Sony TV, solved on its own with the last update for Windows 10 which includes the OS 1607 version build: 14393.187

  To all of you who always fights for the configuration of HDMI output for their laptop to the television after upgrade to Windows 10, I'm sure that the last Windows Update will solve the problem.
