  You can use the method "convertBulletsAndNumberingToText ()".

  for example app.activeDocument.stories.everyItem () .convertBulletsAndNumberingToText ();

  It converts the bullets and numbering to text in all the stories of active document (notes and tables will be separately).

• Bullets and numbers appearing does not in WebHelp

  Sorry if this is a repeat. Other posts on this forum do not appear to solve this problem.

  I can not get the bullets or numbers to display in my WebHelp lists.  Bullets and numbers appear fine in HTML help, and they appear even in the RoboHelp project correctly. They just do not appear in the WebHelp displayed in Explorer or Firefox.

  The content was written in FrameMaker. Selecting AutoNumber convert to HTML format works very well for CHM, but nothing appears in WebHelp. I tired selecting convert AutoNumber to text and bullets and numbers to appear in Firefox, but wingdings displayed in Explorer.

  All appears well in RoboHelp, should I assume that there is something on the WebHelp window which interferes with my lists?

  The lists are at several levels. I use RoboHelp 8.0.2.208 (TCS2) / Windows XP, SP3.

  Since you talked about the issue with the Wingdings font, I guess that ' sn step number "character style is mapped to BulletSymbol character style (in fmstyles.css) that uses fonts Wingdings.»» (Please check in the settings of Conversion dialog box)

  Since the Wingdings policy is issued, the symbol for chip comes from family Wingdings seen in Internet Explorer. However, as Firefox does not correctly handle the Wingdings, a normal character is displayed in place of an a Wingdings.

  Where the Wingdings characters are not necessary, it is recommended to change either the style BulletSymbol to use other fonts or map "sn number of the step" style to the source. In addition, the option "Convert to text" seems to meet your requirement. Thus, it is recommended to use this particular configuration for the paragraph style "b ball.

• Can dial (in bullets and numbering) be automated increment?

  What I'm trying to make is the number in increments of 10, from 00. What I have so far is ^ H-^ #. ^ t, puts in the chapter number, a dashboard, an integer, a period and a tab. Is it possible to change the whole then increment. If, for example - 35-00, 35-10, 35-20 and 35-30 - 00, 10, 20 and 30 have to be typed in?

  I couldn't find if InDesign has any type of formula for this. I thought to use text variables, but if I create variables that are 00, 10, 20 and 30, I may as well make models for each, which told me will not be accepted by my client--they don't want not a style for every single number. This isn't a common title, so it does not work.

  It is a paragraph style to apply to the first line of each section of a chapter.

  I'm not coming up with something else. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Add a zero, as I did above on the right after the marker number and the numbers will appear to increment of 10.

  I created a topic with the default style sheet applied.

  I created a numbered list with a few points to secondary chips by numbered line.

  When HR generates for WebHelp and as printed PDF output, the distance between returns trolley lines seems to be about two times more white space between items in the PDF document compared to the generated document WebHelp displayed via IE 7.

  Someone has an idea what is the cause?  I'd be willing to believe she had something to do with the way I had things in my stylesheet configured, but it is using the default.css.

  There will always be a difference between the way in which the display lists in the browser and in the press, because different browsers may very well have differences.

  When you create a PDF file, behind the scenes a Word document is created, then PDF would be and ransacked. Word lists will be different.

  The options are to accept the difference, as long as both are acceptable or generate term first, that twist and then PDF.

  It has more on this subject in my pages of printed documents. RH8 also lets you specify a CSS different when the production of printed materials and use may allow you to play with the definitions to get what you want.

• The sidebar option permament for bookmarks and history disappeared completely?

  I used to be able to push a button and have my history or bookmarks are displayed as a sidebar. Since the new update it appears only as a drop of water down and it's getting in my way while I'm working. I learned there are key controls that can be used to appear on the side and there seems to be a button in the menu itself, but they do not last. I'm not good with computers and can't really use or remember complicated keyboard commands and the extra button on the drop-down list takes more time. Is it possible to get back to how it was before the update or this option is no longer possible?

  {Ctrl + B} and {Ctrl + H} will open the bookmarks and history.

  There is a new button 'Boxes' in Firefox 30 Beta, but which will have an extra click to open the side panel of choice.

  But there are some issues that I saw in the title page.

  Books is on the colors, I have filled with the color of the text and lightens it, its not showing correctly in the file exported.

  Your request of bullets, you can try this:

  When exporting the file to superatue there is an option for the bullets in the formatting options (on the general tab in the Epub export options). Select seeded down converts it to text.

  This will keep the formatting to the text, but on the cost that your balls will not appear in the list not ordered in the corresponding epub .xhtml.

  In addition, if your document contains multiple series of lists to which you don't want to convert to text, you can selectively mark a specific list of text of TYPE--> BULLETS AND NUMBERING to--> CONVERT to TEXT.

  Under Type > bulleted and numbered list > set list, I find hundreds of 'any word list' that I did not creat

  I guess it has been imported with the word I drop workd

  Is it possible to prevent it.

  What I do is:

  1. I create own style in InDesign, I put them also in the specific folder

  2. I import the Word file with styles in InDesign

  3. now, I delete Word styles and replace them with my styles ID.

  It gives me more control over the imported styles as styles of marking or eqally using named styles. Both would do it, but I've experienced this after each export that is added a new style of Word, it is almost impossible to get the automatic style markup.

  I think that you must manually update the time every time in the header or footer options

  But it's simple, just go to print spread out and make the changes, then print and distribute your worksheet updated for your fundraising.

  Restore the photos removed from the album "recently deleted".

  The key combination command + delete ⌘⌫ will actually delete the photos from your library, not only to remove it from the album.  If you want to remove photos from albums, only the delete key, not use command-DELETE.

  If so, disable it. Known to cause this problem for many users.
