I am importing data xml in indesign and need to style it with scripts.

Done everything, except to put them in the balls... I hope you guys can help me.

That's how, in the xml file, there are placed characters when things need to take place (such as an entry or a ball).
For example:

I used the function replace (replaced {{;}} with 'Miracle') and \n for newlines, and the result is the following:

Now I think that I need to replace it with a ball, but I can't find documentation on scripting ball. Yes on how make your custom ball and how to do it without writing scripts in indesign... Can someone tell me what I should replace?

The text decorations such as balls, as well as selections of fonts and color are available only in HTML messages. My guess is that your correspondents sent using plain text, and Thunderbird responds in the same way.

If you hold the shift key while clicking on answer, I think that you will be able to answer using HTML and your formatting toolbar should reappear.

However if someone wrote to you using plain text, which seems to be a strong indication that they prefer the text gross and not may not appreciate a response to HTML. If they actually disable HTML in incoming messages, then your bullets probably will appear to them as asterisks.

It is a question of company about my client being read properly by our customers. The pdf file, we created (secure) or unsafe, can be played in the Player browser by default, but lists in the document (numbers, letters and bullets) don't appear - just indented paragraphs. I tried describing the text, etc. - nothing works. The same files are well in Safari and Chrome.

Maybe that's a problem with the font used for the numbering? When I create a PDF from MS Word that uses automatic numbering or hierarchical numbering in the same font as the text, Viewer PDF in Firefox it displays normally.

alignment of the bullets for doc epub

I'm trying to format my paper for the publication of the ebook. I use Pages and specifically the ebook eBook template in Pages. I formatted and re-formatted in the last days to try to get my chips to align properly when I export the doc Pages in epub format.

When I open the document in ibooks, the balls are not properly aligned. Also, when I download the doc epub for kindle and check the appearance of the epub on various e-readers, the bullets look well on android devices, but not on the (strange!) apple/mac devices.

I tried everything (stripped the formatting and re-formatted 45 times more). I'd appreciate any help.

Pages v5.6.1 in OS X El Capitan.

The withdrawal of bullet of level 1 by default is 0 in and withdrawal of text is 0.2 in.. A dash of level 2 under level 1 using the symbols of dash Panel Format is 0.17 in. and his withdrawal of the text remains unchanged at 0.2 in. resembles what follows in the Pages and give a hope prior to export ePub. I found this copy and paste from ANY external source to TinyMCE requires some ' mickeying with ' to do things...
- a GoogleTranslation copy and paste are not s (paragraphs) but rather s (line breaks) no matter what you did with your typing or it looks like in the windows of the translation
- TextEdit will not wear colours or live URLs
- Notepad of Windows and TextEdit 'plaintext' was usually a way of stripping away invisible things  not so hot results with NotePad +, but could be worse

Keynote: bullets/numbering not printed without background

does anyone know of a solution to the following problem:
1. I m using a keynote with a numbering/bullets and a background slide dark for the presentation.
2. For the impression that it is much more convenient when you arrive in white background and black letters which is (almost) perfectly solved in keynote: in the print dialog box just uncheck the option "Print background" (in German: 'Folienhintergrund print')
3. As I said earlier, this is a very good solution, but the bullets or numbers as in the example are lost.
Is there a solution or should only be solved by apple with one of the next versions?

I had the same problem recently with a presentation by using a nearly black background.

I changed the color of the numbers to a dark gray (I think I used the Tin in the new provision "pencil"). It was enough "light" display on the screen and print the slide enough background 'dark' when printing "checked".

I agree that it would be great to see this behavior changed in a future update

HP Officejet Pro 8600 missing some bullets when printing

HP Officejet Pro 8600 for young or skips lines especially bullets when printing. This isn't a problem of ink.

The documents that are printed look fine except some lines especially bullets Miss. Always the same lines/bullets Miss.

I tried printing from Win XP, 7 and 8 - all have the same problem and the same senses are missing. The print view looks very good.

This happens when you print items from the internet. I use Chrome on all computers.

I have the latest software, drivers and firmware.

Copy the information in Word 2007 prints without problem I printed documents pasted unchanged IE. no change, the format or the police.

Print a PDF file has no problem.

I've had the printer for 5 months. The computers are the same during this period.

I only noticed this problem in the last few weeks - after print a recipe and trying to follow, I noticed lack of bullets a receipt detailed ingredients.

I have unplugged the printer and plugged back in - the problem persists.

Please help with this frustrating problem.

Bullets, not always the tail

I am using Captivate 9.0.2.421 on a Mac. I create a sensitive project.
Sometimes the bullets don't line up properly on the left side. It seems when I'm creating in Captivate, but when seen in a browser, and when I publish to LMS, some chips are a bit too more to the left.
Here's what looks like a slide in Captivate:
And here's what it looks like in the browser Preview (sounds like the same thing online after the publication of the LMS): (see how the last point is too far left, when it should be aligned with the ball above her?)

I wasn't able to reproduce on the master slide.

I ended up redo this slide and remove the old and that solved the problem. Which is annoying, but at least it worked. Thanks for all your help!

Magic Bullet Looks is missing since the upgrade.

Hi all
After the upgrade to Premiere Pro for Premiere Pro 2015.3 (v10.4 "Good buddy"), all my plug-ins Red Giant now seem to be "missing" when I open existing projects containing filters from red giant.
I have the Magic Bullet Looks applied to an element in a project. In the effect controls panel - the filter appears in the list as 'Filter in offline mode' (sounds like).
Anyone who knows the cause, or more importantly, no one knows how to fix this?
Any help is very appreciated.

I think that I found the solution to my problem. I made a copy of the Adobe Premiere plug ins folder C:/Program Files/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore and saved as a backup to my desktop. I have emptied the original file of all the plugins and reinstalled plugins via the website of red giant and then reactivated their inserting the code.

Fingers crossed, it seems to work.

How can I change bullets? Alternatively, where can I find fleas in Adobe Acrobat Standard DC?

I read on a bulletin board that Acrobat is a program that creates PDF files only and is not for editing. But this is crazy. I can create PDF and XPS files in MS Word, so I wouldn't really no need Adobe Acrobat DC if that were the case. Moreover, the fact that they give you tools > Edit menu means that the argument of the Board of Directors Announces cannot hold water.
And if Acrobat DC is able to CONTINUE A NUMBERED BULLET LIST AUTOMATICALLY (as when I insert a line), I WOULDN'T have to EXPORT D4 %N DOCUMENT BACK TO MS WORD in ORDER to ELIMINATE THE NEWLY CREATED BULLET AND THEN re - SAVE IT as PDF!
I mean, I am crazy or Acrobat of the is the biggest pain in the program having to deal with$ $? I thought it was a cool program, but now I think he has been on this Earth just to make me angry!

Fake! Since MS Word can change and CREATE a PDF file, it shows that demand much higher. With the discount academic Office for $ 69.99, it disgusts me to say this, but Microsoft is the affordable winner all around.

HTML validation to a bullet point error list

I create an email template and is going to add a list of short bullet as placeholder points. That way, when others want to create an email that they have the ability to use a list but used the need to the point of ball on the top of their head the < ul > < li > tags.

The closing paragraph tag is red in the Eloqua Editor (see the screen attached capture) and I don't know why. I don't think that there is a mistake but Eloqua seems to think that there is an error. When I take the points of the html the red error code disappears.

Captivate 9 Bullet Style questions

In Captivate, if you create a simple text with Arial font selected caption, and then try to apply style diamond list bullet. The text box displays a rectangular shape rather than the style of the selected chip. This happens with the diamond and with all the style in the bottom row of the style parts.
For example. like the image below:
Also a few times instead of rectangle appears ' w instead of diamond ball. Then gets displayed when publishing in the output HTML 5. It's really a pain.
Someone had this problem? I can't find anything on Google.
I tried to reinstall Captivate v9.0.1 several times but no luck.
Running MAC OS X Yosemite.
One with a suggestion would really be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply, I've now solved. You must enable "Windings" police on mac for styles of chip works fine in Captivate.
