Bumper case is cracked.

Well, it was great while it lasted. Nice box but he snapped at random and just noticed when I pulled out of my pocket.

  • Case of cracks near the speaker area.

    Good afternoon

This is my first post here and I own TouchPad for a week now (bought at Best Buy).  I used the Android device and simply start using WebOS. It is a pleasant experience using the map view. And the interface is very intutitive with minimum learning curve. However, I saw a little crack near speakers a couple of days and I see getting longer them as I listening to music or using speaker. And I'm afraid of him to reach my screen area. I know that the screen will not emotional and I still can't use it. But it does not look good aesthetically.

I've seen couples to post here and other forums that had the same problem. I keep my TouchPad in the case of hp and it never fell. But it seems that it is not serious. I had once called HP for other order TouchPad related and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes and I couldn't hold it any longer because I had to work.

I know that HP is clearing their inventory now and saw that a lot of people are still waiting for their arrested fullfilled. And I was wondering if HP has enough inventory (same refurb.) which cover the guarantees. And what are my options for my problem. I can't wait an hour to work on the phone. I am asking here. Advanced program to Exchange/return always available these days? or should I send and wait a week to repair or replace? Anyone who has gone through can tell me your experience and I will appreciate it.

I also bought a few apps. If I get a refurb/new unit, are those purchased apps will be transferred to it without problem once I have restore my account WebOS?

    Thank you

If someone had a problem with the case of cracking in the articulation points on the

    Thank you Colin.

Yes, contact the ASP in your country. Guys are going to replace the cover with no problems
I read here in the forum about this issue that ASP has always replaced the uppercase ;)

  • is it possible to fix a cracked outer case/shell?

I have a HP G50 and my outer case is cracked all the way across the length of the computer.  It is split at the base where it pivots to open and close.  So even if I open my laptop, the screen now breaks down at the base and I can see inside the screen on the current screen and the son behind him.  Is it possible to fix this?

    Thank you

You will need to contact repair of HP (800-474-6836) to order a set of replacement or send in for repair.

  • Very frustrated Sleekbook 6-1010 U.S. case associated with the broken hinge enviously and screen

My oldest son is a U.S. Marine. He asked my opinion, a year and half ago and eventually buy a HP Envy Sleekbook red with a backlit keyboard. He only used the laptop 8 months before entering the Marines. Once he was in position I sent her cell phone to him in its original packing and then double boxed processor to be sure. A month after the left hinge suddenly bound upward and when you open the lid the lid, the screen is broken and the bed base. It home he brought with him on leave to check on me. He had seen me replace the screens, keyboards and even build computers throughout his life. I studied this problem and found it to be very frequent the left hinge bind suddenly and cause a breakdown of the case and in some cases the screen. I was disappointed more about questions that people were trying to get warranty repairs even when their PC was only 3 months old. My son thought it was something that I could do since I am an employee of HP and there was obviously a technical flaw. I price the parts to fix the PC which amounted to over $ 400, only hinges are $ 75. Inside the case is cracked at all points of fixation of the left hinge. This PC is a total loss with less than one year of actual use. What can we do?

I just sent you a private message. If you are unsure how to check your messages from the forum, this post has instructions.

  • BlackBerry bold 9900 broken smartphones

I've had my blackberry "BOLD" for about 8 weeks now. I went shopping yesterday and put my laptop in my bag in hand, he had a bumper case. When I went to take my phone out of my bag in hand to use, the screen was cracked. Its still in full working condition and did not have any other brand on it.  I don't think it should have happened after 8 weeks to have and I don't think it's irrational or foolhardy to put a cell phone in a bag in hand, so im thinking that it may be due a fault in the screen. his o2 of ith on contract and do not know what to do with nxt. It will still be under warranty?

I don't really have an exact figure. But it should be around $ 100

You can go through everything according to your convenience.

  • Download WiFi speed is poor

I use a router broadband SMC 50 n. My phone gives me a download speed of 40 more, while the touchpad HP 32 GB cannot cross 4.83. Installed preware, pad running 3.04 last. Put the Touchpad with all settjngs preware updates. I wonder why its so slow operation.

YES BOTH OF YOUR QUESTIONS. ROUTER HAS RECENTLY BEEN INSTALLED BY MY CABLE PROVIDER. ITS A SMCD3GN. Very strange, I must say. Touchpad was sent to HP for repair

the case was cracked at the area of two speakers. When she came back to me, I had

Re - install preware etc. I believe that unity is not the same as the one I sent, but refurbished. What made me suspicious, it is that I got to reregister the unit. I guess I'll have to contact HP.

  • Satellite P300-156 won't start or by MAIL

    Hello

I have a Satellite P300-156 I bought a few months as damaged. The screen has been damaged and the case slightly cracked. I replaced the screen and hard drive and main card seems to have no physical damage. I've been running this system for 3 months now without any problem but, today, for some reason, it won't start or even POST. It powers on and the CPU fan starts to turn then stops and does nothing. No display (I tried external). CD player works. No beeps.

I tried reinstalling RAM even open completely and reinstalling all connections, nothing done. Does anyone have an idea what component is gone? (CPU/GPU/RAM)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

Did you update the BIOS or something?
For me, this is a normal behavior when the BIOS chip is faulty.

  • How to replace the turn of office business

I recently bought a refurbished ENVY 700 series desktop computer, it is in very good condition. Unfortunately, I accidentally fell and the façade of the Tower in case of cracking.

I like the design of the box, but I don't want to have a case cracked in the rest of his life. Is there a chance I can replace it? Or can I order a box round only (motherboard, hard drive, dvd, etc.)?

There should be a part # on the Assembly. You need to remove the Panel (plastic)).   Here are the parts / covers / plastics for this model.

  • Is it possible to replace the cover of my laptop?

    Hello world

I've been using the HP Pavilion Dm4-1050 ca for one year, unfortunately the last time I dropped it and it's so bad that the case was cracked. It still works well but the screen now do not match with the body of the laptop properly, and a small part of the cover of the screen around the corner was broken. A small part in the corner of the screen also turn to black, but it is not a big problem.

Does anyone know where can I buy a case for your laptop to replace, or what I can send to guarantee even if it's my own fake? xD it's quite difficult for me to send it to the warranty as I bought it at the Canada and now I'm in England.

I would be very grateful if you know where I can buy it and how much it would cost xD

Thanks for your time and sorry for my bad English, I'm trying to improve in the near future lol.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to buy the case for display through HP. (unless you can find someone selling on ebay). You will need to send the unit to a repair that issue is fixed, and since he is a customer induced damage, there may be a fee for the replacement of parts.

  • Need of the good, the bad and the ugly on the desktop E9150T

For those of you who bought a desktop computer HP E9150T can you please share the pro and con with me?

I've waited long to upgrade my old built generic XP desktop and I'm looking at HP E9150T and the Dell Studio XPS as spare parts.  Although the E9150T has more memory on their graphics card Dell is currently $150 cheaper with hardware quite comperable.  My problem with the Dell Studio XPS is reported that periodically the system overheats causing the fan to kick at such a high SPEED that users say it sounds like an airplane taking off.  Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be that a customer consumer out there about the E9150T, so I don't know what he expected and wants to carefully weigh my options until I went to bed a lot.

In addition to the problem with the fan, I would like to know anything else, you can share with me regarding the system and support by HP.  Note that I am not a serious gamer and I don't think I have overtax my system with everything I do.  I'm really looking for a system that will meet my needs for a long time.

Here's a question a little.  All my previous systems were built generically, but I don't have one of them built myself.  I received answers on other forums who say that it is better to stay generic than buying and a Dell or HP even if it is custom built to specifications as the two in question would be.  So my question is this...  What you give up by buying a unit like these two from Dell or HP?  I've heard stories about parties are of lower quality than what you can buy in a generic way, I've heard of lack of scalability or system being owner and will use only parts provided by themselves and I heard that HP and Dell purchase stripped of motherboards from generics like ASUS and paralyze the bios in them.  My concern with HP or Dell, is that I would get a reliable system of quality with good quality parts.  I have never overclocked one of my existing systems and the only real reason why I never bought a HP is before I could not find a system "off the shelf" that met all my criteria in the way form or version of the operating system installed.  With the e9150t of HP and Dell XPS I get little close to what I have ordered a generic system.  I saw a system similar to the e9150t who had other CPUS in them and they all seem nice and seems quiet but I think I might bother some people if I start the case of cracking and search.  Any idea would be appreciated.

It is best to avoid 1st generation X 58 (high-end) Board of Directors of a big box-manufacturer.

    1. lack of refinement.  This is a good market version a Committee of Asus OEM.  Some early production bugs are resolved with BIOS updated frequently if you have a retail Council.  A Committee of OEM HP can get one or two updates.  There is no ideal Board, but 1st generation tips are still buggy.  BIOS frequently update helps, but does not eliminate the frustration factor if you are affected by the bug.

    2. management of poor fan / thermal with a Committee of OEM.  You can adjust the fan speed and the type of fan (-3 or 4-pin PWM) with an enthusiastic Committee.  A quality Retail Council has better cooling on the circuit of PWM chipset (greater stability to high temperature of case).

    3. limitation of output power from the PSU OEM.  Better nutrition is capable of driving two high range GPU.

    4. no oveclocking ability.  I7 920 D0 entry level should be able to operate at 4.0 GHz with a detail of good advice and a CPU cooler.  It is a huge boost in performance compared to 2.66 GHz stock speed (time of Super Pi 1 M 9 seconds @ 4.0 GHz vs 16 seconds @ 2 .66GHz).

    5 pre-installed crapware.

    6. no choice of OS.  Vista is dead.  The future is W7 SP1 (2nd quarter 2010) If you must have the latest OS.  I prefer Windows XP Pro 32 or 64-bit.  It is widely compatible with programs in May because of his age.  It is significantly faster than Vista or W7.  He joined no digital rights management.

    7. poor implementation of the Portable Media Drive.  It is a USB 2.0 removable drive, whose speed is capped at USB 2.0 real world of 23 MB/s speed.  USB 2.0 is a technology for ten years.  A high-end removable player should be based on the eSATA, allowing you to transfer data at the speed of the hard drive (currently 60 MB/s to 110 MB/s).  It's 3 x the speed of USB 2.0.

8 questionable clientele with the manufacturer of big box (work with a monkey phone level 1st reading of the guide by script).  A local custom Builder should know that the PC inside and out and give advice on the future upgrade.

    9. lower case ventilation.  A good custom case (Antec 300) has four 120mm fans and a 140mm fan.  If you set the speed of the fan on the motherboard at 1200 rpm, the platform will be whisper quiet even at full load.  There is a fan directly in front of the hard drive to maintain external work under 40 ° C in the warmest room.

There is always something new and better each month in the calculation of the PC.  You can assemble the most stable and oriented platform value based on knowledge today.  These large PC were designed months ago.

It is difficult to compete with the PC to large areas in the range of $500 of overtime because of the fixed cost of work.  The big boys can buy components cheap with a huge volume discount.

Once you break the barrier of $1,000, then the advantage swings to the custom test.  The big leagues at the price of these platforms with extra fat.  HP can still make $ on a platform i 920 even with a discount of $400 - $500 off the price of the web.  Most of the custom builders will not charge you additional labor for an expensive drilling rig (unless you specify the cooling water).  As a result, thi $300 "discount" can be used to buy a best MB, PSU, HDD and GPU.  Also note that all the components of quality PC come with 3 year warranty frm.  This is much longer than the standard 1 year at HP.

You never have to deal with a custom platform.  You want a disk Western Digital Carvia Black 7200 RPM 640GO/32 MB cache?  No problem.  You want an overclockee platform with no more noise 30dBA @ 100% CPU load (inaudible in a silent room)?  No problem.  Try this with DELL, HP or any manufacturer of big box.

Personally, I would not spend $ on an i7 920 drilling rig.  Unless you are a pro video editor or a super - duper Hard Core than Gamer, a custom bicoeur overclockee Intel platform would be my 1st choice.  For about $600, you get a 4.0 GHz overclocked CPU that could calculate the number Pi to the digits of 1 M in 13 seconds.  A stock HP 920 i7 handles this task in 17 seconds.

Put the $ saved in a savings account.  Expect that your 4.0 GHz dual core CPU becomes the bottleneck before you upgrade the MB, CPU and RAM (maybe 3-4 years).  When you do that, you'll probably looking at a 6-8 CPU core.  Scalability a rig is a fool's game.  Buy only what you need today.  Go with eSATA if you need external storage.  USB 2.0 is only suitable for the smallest USB.

  • My judgment of the computer during the task execution.

my computer shutdown when you perform this task, the download, scaning my computer with microsoft essentials or the backup of my computer also while making this charge I have my powersaver as ever to stop, but still it shutsdown.befor it shuts down the computer goes into overdrive and a clik noise and it closes and is not becous the computer is hot.

Original title: shut down the computer

The clicks you hear may be a symptom of a faulty fan or a hard drive failed. These two are indicative of a potentially catastrophic incident. I'd get this diagnosed with certainty as quickly as possible.

If the HARD disk fails, you will be able to get the information that it climb in a remote box after installing a new HARD drive and reinstalling everything provide you get this fact before the drive completely fails. The computer and your backup files could only accelerate failure.
I'm curious to know how you know that the shutdown behavior is not due to the accumulation of heat. If you have a CPU fan that is a failure it can take as little as 5-10 seconds after the "by clicking on" begins before a closed thermal is forced. If you have a faulty fan, the heat closed isn't enough to avoid damaging your components of the computer/CPU/motherboard and repeated forced closing of the bottom are harmful to your computer.
If your computer is under warranty, send it to the manufacturer for repair after all product information and program keys off the machine. You will probably be sent back a computer with nothing but a new operating system on it and it is possible that you may not yet retrieve the same computer.
If your computer warranty has expired and you are uncomfortable taking off one of the panels of the case, and try to locate the source of the ' by clicking on '. Get a can of compressed air and blow out the dust. Look for cables or wires that may be resting against the movement of fans and causing the 'click '. If it is a laptop, stop it and remove the battery before performing any adjustment of material and/or any change.

If you are not comfortable "the case of cracking", then any information out on your computer you can (including product keys) and take it to a reputable professional. Stress that you want to a prior notification to any attempt to repair and balance the work estimate against the cost of a new computer.

  • Is there a way to break the password of Oracle?

    Hello.

Unfortunately, I forgot to Oracle 11 g R2 password. It contains all the important data for my God. As a beginner to Oracle, I would like to know how to recover data for Oracle 11 g database with know them the password.
Is is possible to break the password Oracle algorithm and get the base data?

    Published by: Tejaswi.B on September 30, 2010 08:13

    (1) it is a technical question. Please move to a technical forum (database - general would seem appropriate).

    (2) when you post the question a technical Forum, I could explain the problem you are experiencing and ask not crack the password. Requests to crack passwords are likely to lead people to assume that you're up to no good. And the password in your case of cracking won't be necessary. What you need is to use OS authentication to connect without a password Oracle. Display the operating system that you are using will be useful for the correct instructions for this task.

  • iPhone 6 Silicone Case cracking

Apple apply to their case of silicone deteriorating? I had this case for about 10 months now, and other than the covering sweet friction than it also begins to form cracks that grow fast enough (as shown in the images). The crack along the volume buttons grows so fast that I doubt the case split for more than a few weeks before becoming two separate pieces.

I feel that this is something that that should be on Apple, but what are my options?

    Thank you

    Ryan

    Hello

The Silicone case is covered by one year limited Apple against material or manufacturing defects, but not against accidental damage or misuse.

Contact Apple support (mail service may be available) or make a booking Genius Bar to make arrangements so that it can be verified by Apple and, if it is eligible, repaired or replaced under warranty:

I'm afraid that no one here can tell you what that decide to Apple (he is a user-based community).
