    Hi GeorgiaWR,

Control of cyclic redundancy or CRC errors, usually occur when copying data to a CD or DVD. The error may indicate a bad block, a damaged disc or a hardware problem.

Firmware update is not not qualify into the net for the carpet * a DVD RAM Uj-years 840 firmware 1.52. Support (Hotline) knows the problem, has however no solution. Who can help?

    Hello

In my opinion you shouldn't start with updates or even the installation of the firmware. The device is new and try to test it out first. 8 x burning speed is just for the DVD-R virgins. I hope that you use the latest version of Nero and DVD 8 x burning speed rewritable media. If there is a possibility try to test with a few different blank DVD burning speed.

  • M40X. DVD/rewritable does not burn DVD

When I bought the computer everything worked properly, I could burn CD / DVD / RW, etc. After having a format and reinstall all the features that TOSHIBA has (pre-installed TOSHIBA software), I am not able to burn DVDs, even if I tried to burn in the same kind of DVD he was burning to. I can still burn RW but they are not played anywhere other than my own computer.
What should I do? why it works that way?
Note: After format the computer has taken at least three times the time to start than when it was new.

    Hello Arnold,.

Regarding your problem of DVD, it sounds as if the DVD you are burning are not finalized by your burning software. This will result in the burned DVD (R or RW) only be playable in the unti who burned and nowhere else. I don't know ask your help for DVD burning but check for all options which will finalize your DVD. You should then be able to play them back anywhere.

As for you laptop to take three times as long to start, are you sure that you do not have additional applications starting by default now that you have re-installed averything. I suggest that you search what is actually underway when you load your operating system (click on start-> Run-> Msconfig) and then everything you don't want to actually delete the list.

    Kind regards

  • SPEED OF BURNING/FORMATTING OF DVD AND REWRITE OF THE T3729 UK WITH LIGHTSCRIBE PROBLEMS

Hello, I have now got access to a key thread is started, so that's it.

My installation is as above and was again in 2007. Again, it still took about an hour and a half to format a 4.7 GB dvd. It takes four hours to work back up to four discs actoss.

Discs will not generally be re - format after erasing. I'm not impressed at all and finally after 3 years of struggle and screaming, I'm looking for a good Samaritan trying to throw me a lifeline.

Hi, Big Dave, thank you very much for freely sharing your expertise.

I followed your link, but the download would not go ahead, because of the need for me to accept a condition, which was not reported anywhere as an option to accept. On the contrary, there was a specific "do not accept" which I did not disengage.

I ran several PC Doctor programson my game to the top, which you would like to believe that all is well, but in truth, if this is the case, it's a desperately inadequate burner system, even my basic needs.

I have, since this question found and used HP supports, with assistance online live with their experts, who suggested the same thing you did.

Unfortunately, despite your, clearly a good Board, it seems that means that inexperience on my part, I can't avail myself of the installation. Or, I'm just a piece of noncompliant trash kit DVD standards.

    Kind regards

  • Carpet * a UJ - 831S: cannot burn a CD or DVD, but possible burning RW media

his wird becase when I burn cd - rw or dvd - rw (any brand) everythink is ok (still) and I have no problem with reading any cd or dvd.

I don't know that my dvd is ok or I have to buy a new one?

    Please help me.
    you are my last chance...

    Hello

Looks like the lens can not calibrate correctly.
The objective must be calibrated before using the media. Each media need to another status to calibrate. If this calibration doesn t work properly the drive cannot read or write media.
Well, in this case there are not a lot to do.
The drive needs to be replaced.

But have you checked if the engraving option has been enabled on the drive? If this isn't the case, in order to check it out.

-Right-click on the DVD drive-> properties
-Go to the menu point record
-Enable recording for the DVD player

  • Install external DVD burner on NB200

    Hello
It is a first post of time following the purchase of a NB200 using OS WinXP installed standard. With the NB200, I also bought a LG GP08LU10 "External Super Multi DVD Rewriter". When I plug the DVD climb in the NB200 it powers and the NB200 recognizes hardware such as a CD-ROM drive. However, it is disabled. The Assistant added of Harware WinXP running causes the message "this device is disabled (Code 22)".

A check of the CD that came with the DVD reveals that there are no drivers on the CD only DVD burning and playback software.

I plugged the DVD player on my laptop Lenovo that is also running Windows XP and unity "plugged and played" as you would expect.

A search on the web based on product LG GP08 ID creates very little success with one or two it seems to describe similar symptoms, but not solutions. More talk about the installation of a driver, but I was not able to locate a driver on the LG site (or as I said, on the product CD).

The DVD player comes with a 'standard' USB cable and a USB power cable. Each single cable and two cables with the NB200 plugged into the power supply and it still is not plug and play.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Kind regards
    TESA

    Hello

According to the Microsoft page, 22 error means that the device is either disabled or not started. Eventually he hasn t started in your case.

There are several proposals for solution.
One of them told you he must remove the Device Manager and reboot the laptop.
After that new reboot of the operating system should recognize the DVD drive connected again.

On the other hand, you could try to remove all USB hubs and controllers from the list of devices USB and should restart the laptop again.
This help to refresh the USB drivers.

I not quite sure if deleting upper and lower filters change anything but maybe what it s worth m to try.
Start the registry and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

After that, restart the laptop and check the functionality of DVD USB drive s.

  • Satellite Pro L450 - 13G - able to burn a DVD?

It is clearly said DVD + rewritable outside the disc tray and CD + RW, but put an end to any attempt to burn a DVD in any burner "found." A burner is one of the main reasons I chose this model.
Nobody really knows if he is supposed to be an engraver of DVD in the L450 - 13g?

The MS software is there. I checked Device Manager and all I get is CDDVDW TS L633C which is not useful.

Otherwise, it should not be printed on the Board.

    Hey Buddy,

Exactly, what program you use for burning discs?

As wrote Akuma that it could be linked to the high - and lowerfilters that you should remove in the Windows registry. Therefore, follow the instructions on the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

If it doesn t work you can test another burning like CD Burner XP program. It s freeware tool compatible with all versions of Windows.

  • DVD drive does not burn/erase RS - Satellite P100-347

    Hello

I bought a Toshiba Satellite p100-347 PSPA6E laptop computer. It has a DVD burner with model number: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GMA-4082N (firmware pt06). It has capabilities to burn any DVD (please see example using dvdino: http://tinyurl.com/2hbpqv).

However, I can't rewrite on my Maxell dvd + rw (1.4 x speed) dvd. whenever I go to a software application to erase a dvd that I wrote on, it says unrecognized format. For example, Nero says "this disc is not rewritable and therefore can not be deleted. Please insert a rewritable disc.

The disc is rewritable because it says on the cover and also it burns on my friends rewritable dvd burner :(

Please can anyone help:(je suis vraiment coincé et il serait beaucoup aprécié)

    Hello

As you probably know, readers don t support all kinds of media.
I mean not every CD - R, DVD - RW, CD + RW, DVD + RW, and so on, average is supported.
I can confirm these issues in my practical knowledge I tested for several months and many media, I use the TDK on my laptop and only CD or DVD media.
They work best with my drive...

But I'll give you a tip:
You should remove other software burning like sonic, etc if you use Nero. The joint software sometimes makes trouble.

  • How to burn videos from Flipcam on DVD to play on DVD player

trying to burn videos of Flipcam (mp4 format) on a DVD that is playable on DVD player for the TV... so far can only burn to DVD that can then be read on the computer.  Help!  In addition, how to remove a file that is located on the DVD (the cumputer says the DVD is full, but there is only one file listed on that;) "I would just wipe the drive and start again).

Original title: download video clips on DVD

    Hello

    1. you use a rewritable disc?

    2. What is the size of the file?

    3. what operating system is installed on the computer?

Windows DVD Maker is a feature that you can use to make DVDs that you can watch on a computer or on a TV using a regular DVD player. The fastest way to make a DVD is to add pictures and videos in Windows DVD Maker, and then burn your DVD.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to see link below and check if it helps.

Burn a DVD-video using Windows DVD Maker disc: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Burn-a-DVD-Video-disc-with-Windows-DVD-Maker

Change Windows DVD Maker DVD-Video settings: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-Windows-DVD-Maker-DVD-Video-settings

Solve problems with creating a DVD-video using Windows DVD Maker: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Troubleshoot-problems-with-creating-a-DVD-Video-using-Windows-DVD-Maker

    Method 2:

Also, when you use the system format active files with rewritable discs, such as CD - RW and DVD - RW, you can also erase unwanted files from a disc to recover space, which is not possible with mastered discs.

Erase a CD or DVD: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Erase-a-CD-or-DVD
