Button code question

Let's say I have a "circle_btn" button in a flash file a picture. The circle is supposed to be hidden, so I have this button, the value 0% alpha. What code can put in AS3 so that once the user clicks on the 'invisible' button, a large chart with an X appears on it?

You will need to use a movieclip for the X symbol, not a graphic symbol, because you must assign an instance name to target with code.

So if you call it "xName" you would start code that makes the invisible X immediately...

xName.visible = false;

and where the Manager works for the circle button you would use...

xName.visible = true;

Hello

I have Paypal code which allows me to sell 3 books, listed in a menu, for the s . price of the soul, $ 17

Please, can someone help me with the code?

If the block of code for the paypal button is basically unreadable, then it is encrypted and you must create the button in your PayPal account. If you go to the account, you will see that it is all fairly intuitive. Then copy / paste the code that PayPal generates in your web page in code view.

If the button code is readable, you can create a new button just by changing the obvious, such as values

for the quantity.

... or, you can also create a non encrypted PayPal button, just like an encrypted button and paste the code into your page (in mode code of course).

• Buttons/code works do not systematically across frames/editing questions

Hi all

Total newbie here. I'm trying to produce something that really should be super simple but I must be missing some basics.

I use Flash Professional CC, a html5 canvas, Mac OS 10.8.5

I created 6 slides, I want users to be able to navigate. Home slide seems superior work. I created 5 buttons that go to the appropriate slide and stop using this code:

this.gotoschool.addEventListener ("click", fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_11.bind (this));

function fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_11()

{

this.gotoAndStop (2);

}

I created a back button, which gives it its own unique instance (back1) to the second slide (frame 1 - for some reason any code reading frame 1 0, frame 2 frame 1, etc) that sends users to the first slide using this code snippet:

This.back1.addEventListener ("click", fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_0.bind (this));

function fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_0()

{

this.gotoAndStop (0);

}

Then, I create another button on frame 3, (back.2) and added the same code snippet:

This.back2.addEventListener ("click", fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_0.bind (this));

function fl_ClickToGoToAndStopAtFrame_0()

{

this.gotoAndStop (0);

}

However, when I saw or that you post, it is not even save it as a button, let alone date back to the first slide. I don't get the "pointy finger" cursor, it looks like a blank slide with no interactivity. No idea what I'm missing here? I tried to create a button and giving different instances on each image and using the same code snippet, but that don't seem to work either.

Here's a screenshot of my calendar and the scene:

Help, please!

Oh, and while I have you here, I noticed also that some items moved during publication and I have no idea why or how avoid this. It's particularly frustrating because I spent much time aligning text and images when they come out unparalleled and it seems really unprofessional.

Here is a screenshot, you'll see in the lower left corner, three text lines have changed and are not ' aligned with the corresponding colored dots. Compare that to the screenshot above scene. Also, you will see in the bottom right I had a yellow arrow next to the text 'back' (which I recently replaced it with a "<" symbol) which also misaligned when published.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you! -Patrick

Screen Shot 2014-03-11 at 11.25.59 AM.png

Figured it out!

I had ignored this warning in the output window:

"Happy with the two Bitmaps and buttons can generate errors of local security in some browsers to run from the local file system."

It turns out that this image in the left column, the WellSAT oragne button is a bitmap. Apparently, evenunrelated buttons do not work if there is somewhere a bitmap image in the same frame. I replaced the logo with the text and the buttons worked.

I'm glad it works now, but it's quite frustrating to think I can't have both a bitmap image or a button on the same page. If anyone has any idea why this is the case and a solution, I would like to hear about it.

Thank you

• OTP-S590 remote code question

Just set up my S590 and it works very well.

I have connected the S590 to my stereo system to Sony DAV - FC7 (via composite) for which I lost the remote control.

The remote control for the media player that I used until I'm the S590, who was a Philips DVD player with USB connection, allowed me to control the levels of the audio output of the player. This is possible using a custom firmware.

Now the remote S590 has a volume knob and I have a few questions:

1. can I program the remote S590 to control the volume of the composite output of the S590 itself?

2 of universal remote would. what type you recommend which allows me to use the S590, DAV - FC7 and my Sharp TV?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Tom

The volume button on the Blu - ray player's remote control is used to control the TV volume.
The player's remote control cannot be programmed to control the volume of the car radio.

You can use the code 18 to program the supplied remote control to the player to control the Sharp TV.

To buy a universal remote, you can contact the nearest Sony dealer.

Kind regards

• Help with button over the button (OnHover questions)

I have a sat button A button B. B button navigates to another point on timeline onmouseOut. A re acts as the B button onhover when hung on even though its only function is to go to a Web site when you click the button. How to not to do so. (it has something to do with the key a session over the B button that acts as a navigation panel.

To illustrate, I have a circle (a ring) nagiavtion menu which is hover button B animtes, which actually look like the commuter ring to the Viewer. When they mouse over button B he then times the next section of the scenario that seems to do the menu tilt back to normal. So currently it is supposed to work like this:

They hover over button B that comes alive to sign 10. On board 10 the tilted wheel now has buttons of towing. one to read a video and the other to go to the site for the link they flew over.

When a person is placed on one of the buttons the tilting animation replays and retitls the wheels before the link becomes active to click which makes navigation uptight or bugged. IWant the animation to play the 10 Panel and stay here, then they choose a button to click and only tilt back to normal when the user mouseout/mouseouthandler() the big underlying under button.

Legitly evolves from the development of the object from one display to the other. Flash is required to send the MOUSE_OUT event as soon as your mouse cursor enters a new object because it is more on the previous object. This does not mean that you however he can only prevent.

This is a pretty easy thing to manage with the code, but I need to know more about how to configure the button.

Is the circle rotating a clip or a button? If it is a button that will take more work. If you have coded a MovieClip, then it will be easier.

After that I know the answers to the above question, that the answer will result by setting just a few flags to know a condition. Once you have lost your drive in place and pop buttons on the screen, the MOUSE_OUT code will need to check that if you rode on all objects you do not want the drive to respond to the. I'll provide more code once you let me know how put you up.

• Add animation code question

I try to add code for the animation to a layer that has a tag on it clicks. I feel like I'm close, but I'm missing something. Here's what I have so far and I've linked a .fla CS4 basic file can better illustrate my question.

var loop = 0;

clickTAG_btn.onRelease=function(){
getURL(clickTag,"_blank");
}

mc_complexButton.onRollOver=function(){
this._parent.play(1);
}

mc_complexButton.onRollOut=function(){
this._parent.gotoAndStop(10);
}

My "clickTAG" coding is correct. But I'll try to have the mc_complexButton to turn when you hover over the button "clickTAG". It does not work unless I hide the layer that contains the button "clickTAG". I'm sure I'm not referencing the mc_complexButton correctly, or of course what numbers should be in parentheses after him. Thanks for any help or an explanation.

http://DL.dropbox.com/u/24097164/Valentine_testheart.fla

Just for reference, I will add animation to the heart in the final version, the circle is simply a placeholder to get the correct code.

use:

var loop = 0;

clickTag_btn.onRelease=function(){
getURL(clickTAG,"_blank");
}

clickTag_btn.onRollOver=function(){mc_complexButton.play();}clickTag_btn.onRollOut=reverseF;

mc_complexButton.onRollOver=function(){
this._parent.play(1);
this.play();
}

mc_complexButton.onRollOut=function(){
this._parent.gotoAndStop(10);
reverseF();
}
function reverseF(){

mc_complexButton.onEnterFrame=function(){
this.prevFrame();
if(this._currentFrame==1){
delete this.onEnterFrame;
}
}

}

• Help with button code please?

I am a novice and have completed my first animated film. I need help with action script.

The film is currently in a loop and I created and invisible button the size of the frame with the intention that a user can click on the picture of the movie to stop it and the second click continue the film from where it stopped.

I used AS event handler method to stop the sequence. I tested it and it works. But I can't understand the appropriate code to restart the movie.

Two questions;

1. I go to the task the right way? (should I use two buttons, a stop, a tenure)?

2. If my approach is possible, can someone give me the right to re - start the movie and put me out of my misery please?

You can use the following after having changed 'yourbutton' and 'yourmovieclip' to use appropriate instance names:

{yourbutton.onRelease = function ()}

{if(!this.) Toggle)}

yourmovieclip. Stop();

} else {}

yourmovieclip. Play();

}

This.Toggle =! This.Toggle;

}

• Another button in question nested movie clip

Hello world

Sorry to ask this type of question once again. I have searched for last 24 hours for a solution and lose the will to live. I am very new to AS 3.0 (and do not have much programming experience), so I guess that's a big part of the problem.

Here's the situation: I have a clip on the main timeline (image 1), whose instance is called "Main_mc". In Main_mc, I had a few buttons, each defined in this way in the script:

function goINFO (e:MouseEvent): void {}

gotoAndStop ("INFO");

}

INFO_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, goINFO);

Everything worked very well. So I decided to put these buttons in a new clip ("Links_mc" on frame 1 of the 'Main_mc') so that I could add animation. Also, I moved the code above in the Planning Links_mc bar. Now, the buttons do not work. After some research, I understand that with the current code, marked executives must be in the same scenario as the buttons. I tried a number of things, none worked. These, for example:

function goINFO (e:MouseEvent): void {}

Main_mc.gotoAndStop ("info");

}

function goINFO (e:MouseEvent): void {}

MovieClip (parent). Main_mc.gotoAndStop ("info");

}

All the advice I can get would be greatly appreciated!

See you soon,.

Robin

Try:

function goINFO (e:MouseEvent): void {}

MovieClip (parent) .gotoAndStop ("INFO");

}

This requires a link inside the hand sits

There are a few options for how you might code. The code could stay in the main_mc and you could target the headphones to the buttons in the mc of the link. Do not have the code to follow the buttons.

• Digital button & code that must run outside the switch of the event

I have an interesting situation. I have a command button which I activated the control via the mouse wheel of the user (thanks to great examples of code herein for one!). To do this I like, I had to put the processing part of the code outside the set event button, such that the value of the output of the control would be updated immediately.

The only problem with this methodology which is then when the user closes the Panel and the button control is a final reminder, this block of code is executed one last time, which translates into a non fatal error "invalid control ID '. The solution here is relevant, but is not ideal as shown above.

My solution feels like a hack, but tell me what you think - trap on EVENT_DISCARD and back at the beginning. Seems to work, just feels like a patch. Here is the code:

int CVICALLBACK KnobCallback(int panel, int control, int event, void *callbackData, int eventData1, int eventData2)
{
int prevValue = 0;
int currValue; // current value of knob control, range = 0-100
double currMotor = 0;
double currMeter = 0;
double idealMotor = 0;
double currVoltage;
int max, min, inc;

// find the range values set in the UIR control:
GetCtrlAttribute(panel, control, ATTR_MIN_VALUE, &min);
GetCtrlAttribute(panel, control, ATTR_MAX_VALUE, &max);
GetCtrlAttribute(panel, control, ATTR_INCR_VALUE, &inc);

// load the current control changed value:
GetCtrlVal(panel, control, &currValue);

switch (event)
{
case EVENT_COMMIT: // any control commit:
break;

case EVENT_MOUSE_WHEEL_SCROLL:

switch (eventData1)
{
case MOUSE_WHEEL_SCROLL_UP:
if (currValue < max)
currValue += inc; // increment 1 step at a time, not eventData2 number of steps (Windows scroll wheel number)
else
{
currValue = max; // hold at max

currValue -= inc; // decrement 1 step at a time, not eventData2 number of steps (Windows scroll wheel number)
else

currMotor = LabJackTimer(LABJACK_TIMER0);
idealMotor = MOTOR_SLOPE * currVoltage;

if (abs((int)(currMotor - idealMotor)) < MOTOR_TOL)
{
SetCtrlVal(panel, MAINPANEL_TEXTMSG6, "GOOD");
SetCtrlAttribute(panel, MAINPANEL_TEXTMSG6, ATTR_TEXT_BGCOLOR, VAL_GREEN);
}
else
{
SetCtrlVal(panel,MAINPANEL_TEXTMSG6,"FAIL");
SetCtrlAttribute(panel, MAINPANEL_TEXTMSG6, ATTR_TEXT_BGCOLOR, VAL_RED);
}
return 0;
}

I suggest to put the code SetCtrlVal fragment in a separate function and call this function for the correct event only; at present, it is called for any event, including the event throwing...

In addition, there is no need to recall the values min/max/inc of your control each time, once the start programme should be enough

When I share Code A and B of the Code. I'm getting a NullPointerException.

Can someone explain the reason please.

Thank you in advance.

Looks like your projectName is null when you get that. Verification that A don't, you're preventing him from getting to the OE to B by actually checking if it's null first.

• Best way to write the earpiece button code?

Hello

I'm trying to update several fields when the user clicks a button. I have a meter static val in a separate category that determines what value is displayed when you click a field.     aAnswerOptionButton.setText ((String) bigStringVectorA.elementAt (Constants.counter));
bAnswerOptionButton.setText ((String) bigStringVectorB.elementAt (Constants.counter));
cAnswerOptionButton.setText ((String) bigStringVectorC.elementAt (Constants.counter));
}
});

If you set bigStringVectorA as a class attribute you won't have to make it final.

• Vertical button discussion questions

I've been at this for hours and can't seem to understand the problem.

What I want is simple - vertical skinny 6 buttons that stretch to the top of the screen down (fact). I want that they regularly spaced from left to right (done). So I want to click on each of them for different actions. What is happening, it is the first button immediately Gets the focus and seems to have the focus on the entire screen. No matter where I click, the first button is the one that keeps the focus. Help? Here's the code to application below. The buttons spread the field and are inspired by PictureBackgroundButtonField one of the examples.

SerializableAttribute public class MyApp extends UiApplication implements FieldChangeListener
{
//------------------------- Class Attributes -------------------------------

//------------------------- Class Methods ----------------------------------
Public Shared Sub main (String [] args)
{
MyApp PAP = new MyApp ();

Have this app into the event queue
theApp.enterEventDispatcher ();
}

//------------------------- Attributes -------------------------------------
private display display;

private HorizontalFieldManager hfm;

private VLineButtonField [] lineButtons = new VLineButtonField [6];

//------------------------- Constructor ------------------------------------
public GuitarTunerApp()
{
Screen is the screen or basic framework of the user of RIM interface class.
Screen = new MainScreen();

lineButtons [0] = new GuitarStringButtonField (10, 480, Field.FOCUSABLE |) Field.USE_ALL_HEIGHT, 'E');
lineButtons [0] .setChangeListener (this);

lineButtons [1] = new VLineButtonField (10, 480, Field.FOCUSABLE, "A");
lineButtons [1] .setChangeListener (this);

lineButtons [2] = new VLineButtonField (10, 480, Field.FOCUSABLE, "B");
lineButtons [2] .setChangeListener (this);

lineButtons [3] = new VLineButtonField (10, 480, Field.FOCUSABLE, "C");
lineButtons [3] .setChangeListener (this);

lineButtons [4] = new VLineButtonField (10, 480, Field.FOCUSABLE, "D");
lineButtons [4] .setChangeListener (this);

lineButtons [5] = new VLineButtonField (10, 480, Field.FOCUSABLE, "E");
lineButtons [5] .setChangeListener (this);

Add a Horizontal field Manager that contains the custom button sample fields.
HFM = new HorizontalFieldManager(HorizontalFieldManager.USE_ALL_WIDTH |)
HorizontalFieldManager.NO_HORIZONTAL_SCROLL)
{
public int getPreferredWidth()
{
Return getManager () .getWidth ();
}

protected void sublayout (int maxWidth, maxHeight int)
{

Super.sublayout (maxWidth, maxHeight);

* If I remove this loop, the buttons eat together on the left with

most of the buttons has focus on the rest of the screen open at the time. *****

for (int i = 0; i)< 6;="">
{
Field field = getField (i);
setPositionChild (on the ground, 48 + 51 * i, 0);
}
}
};

Background bg = BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground (Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("funImage.png"));
hfm.setBackground (bg);

for (int i = 0; i)< 6;="">
{
HFM. Add (lineButtons [i]);
}

mainScreen.add (hfm);

pushScreen (mainScreen);
}

' Public Sub fieldChanged (field field, int context)
{

String text = "Button";

If (GuitarStringButtonField instanceof field)
{
text = ((VLineButtonField) field) .getName ();
}

Dialog.Inform (text + "was clicked.");

}

Never fails. Post something, then shortly after solve it. It turns out that the super.sublayout (maxWidth, maxHeight);

was causing me problems. Remove that and setting the scope solved my problems.

• Upgrade for the WLC code questions

We 6.0.132 (lastest) WCS and our controllers are on 4.2.130, we now to upgrade to deal with sometimes, but don't want to capwap yet.

Question 1: what is the last exit LWAPP code?

Question2:Whats the differences between 4.2.207 (support page for cisco said it's the latest version), but it has same releases with ie 6.0 how it works it is very confusing workout a way to upgrade to higher versions

See you soon

Hi Tyrone,

I'm not an expert on the management of versions, but here are some basic in response details

at your request

4.2.207 is the last version on the Train of 4.2 and is without doubt an excellent choice

If you are avoiding CAPWAP for now. You will see in the link below which

There are several 'simultaneous' for the WLC Trains (and most of the Cisco product). People

were not big fans of the first Trains 5.x (quite buggy) and was introduced to CAPWAP

in 5.2 and the attacker thus is why 4.2.207 seems to be a good choice for you

In the later version or 5.2 controller software version, Cisco lightweight access points use the IETF control and commissioning of Access Points (CAPWAP) standard protocol to communicate between the controller wireless and other points of light access on the network. Versions software controller before 5.2 use the Lightweight of Point access (LWAPP) Protocol to these communications.

CAPWAP, which is based on LWAPP, is a standard and interoperable protocol that allows a controller manage a collection of wireless access points. CAPWAP is implemented in version 5.2 software controller for these reasons:

*

To provide a path for upgrade of Cisco products that use LWAPP generation Cisco products that use CAPWAP
*

To manage RFID readers and similar devices
*

To allow controllers to interoperate with third party access points in the future

LWAPP compatible access points can discover and join a CAPWAP controller, and conversion to a controller of CAPWAP is transparent. For example, the process of discovery of controller and firmware download process when using CAPWAP are the same as when you are using LWAPP. The only exception is for layer 2 deployments, which are not supported by CAPWAP.

You can deploy CAPWAP and LWAPP controllers on the same network. The CAPWAP compatible software allows access points join to be a controller running CAPWAP-LWAPP. The only exception is the Access Point Cisco Aironet 1140 series, which takes in charge only CAPWAP and joined so only controllers that run CAPWAP. For example, 1130 series access point can reach a controller running CAPWAP or LWAPP considering that access of series 1140 point can join only a controller running CAPWAP.

4.2.207 was released on July 24, 2009 which makes the new second version available on any train.

• The button code will not replace the stop code

Hello

I have been stuck for days trying to figure this out and would appreciate any help offered.

In an HTML5 document, I use excerpts of code (HTML5) to make an animation stops at some of the images in the scenario and then buttons take the Viewer to specific sections of the timeline.

Displaying image002.pngDisplaying image004.pngDisplaying image006.png

The Start button must essentially ignore the playback head on a structure ahead of the frame with the code to stop... but it doesn't. When I preview the video, I can click on the button, but the playhead does not advance the flag "getgoing. I tried this with both specific chassis numbers, but that no longer works.

I did test files containing a single button and the stop code and everything works fine. But in this file larger with several going on, the buttons stop working. Certainly, I have imported image sequences that I made in After Effects (my favorite animation software) and Animate takes more time to save and preview because of this. I don't know if the mere fact of having sequences of images as graphic symbols would change the functionality of a button, but I'm not nothing throw.

Thank you!

The debugging 101 button: first thing make sure that the event handler running one) in fact, b) to what you think it is targeting. The two goals can be accomplished by sticking a trace() statement in the button click event handler that prints everything that you target your call gotoAndStop(). For example, if you have this:

paramecium.panda.parallelogram.gotoAndStop (451);

Add this entry:

trace (Paramecium.Panda.Parallelogram);

If nothing prints when you click the button, or it prints "undefined", you will have significantly reduced the problem.
