• Button formatting problem

  I'm having the button formatting problems in the footer of a muse (A Virtual Colorado fly fishing Field Guide) site and wonder if anyone can give some insight into what goes wrong.

  There are two buttons.  The 'Business' button text is formatted as bold Helvetica 14 points.  The 'Links' button is the same formatting, but has also 10 points 'Space before' in order to center the text in the button.  When I go to the home page of the site, Business button shows the text at the top of the key and the links in the Center as planned.  If I navigate to any another page the text of the button Business has been moved to the Center and the text of links to the bottom of the button and the button links has stretched vertically.

  Why would the buttons have this behavior?

  Just rebuilt the button.  Rather than start with a text box, used the State of the widget library button.  That seems to fix the problem.

• Radio button Widget hidden when published

  Radio button widget works very well when you preview, but does not appear when published.

  Any ideas?

  What version do you use? What exit: SWF or HTML? How have you tested after publication? If the output is HTML, you must upload to a Web server to verify the actual behavior of learning interactions (I assume you're talking about the now of option buttons, not the old widget).

• Help with the status button widget – I want the button to be transparent, but not the text!

  Basically I have a few images which passed hovered, I you want to lighten and text to appear (it's for a portfolio, so I want the title of the project and a very brief description appear when each image is hovered over). To do this, I had to use the status button widget and set its real part of white button, opacity of 50%, while the image lightens when hovered over. However when I do this the text reduced to an opacity of 50%, but when I select the bit of the text itself, he always says 100% opacity. I need the text to be 100% opacity and non-transparent so it can be easily read.

  Looks like you apply opacity to all button instead of simply filling. When you set the opacity? You should be setting the opacity of the background of the button by using the opacity of fill not the opacity of the effects...

  

• Audio pause button widget

  Using Captivate 5, I inserted the Button.SWF widget. The button has the action "Open a URL or file." The slide has audio on it. If I play the slide in Captivate, using the button on the timeline, the audio plays perfectly. However, when previewing the slide, the audio comes to a stop abrupt little after that the button will appear.

  I don't see a break after adjustment for the widget button, either in the properties of the Widget, or in the properties panel.

  Are you talking about the buttons widget or the button "Flash"? If this is the first, which is a static widget, CP5.0 has a suspension that you cannot change (subject to 10 dry if I remember correctly). Captivate 5.5 comes with a static button widget that has no suspension, and the team also created one that stops halfway through his term.

  But what you describe seems to be something else, because you say that the sound signal will stop immediately when the button appears? And you want this button to be there, to open a URL when the user clicks on?

  What do you mean by "play slide in Captivate? Is this F3 which is not a real preview because no SWF is created? And the other preview is one of the other options?

  Sorry for my late reply, was too busy yesterday.

  I checked out, and when you choose a picture in the properties of the Widget, you must use the preview area to drag the image on the top of the key and finally to resize it so that it covers the default button. When posting, please remember to put the image in the same folder as the SWF file published. Here's an example: I point to an image and rescaled the area with the small image icon so that the original button is completely covered. Of course, be sure to not have transparency in your image.

  

  I forgot to say that you won't see the image after the publication, not in preview...

• Button navigation/problem

  Help! I'm at my wits end.

  I take an introductory class in Flash and working on a project for this class. Everything was going well until I started working on my navigation. I used the flat tube green buttons common library on the homepage and all the rest of the site used a dark color button I duplicated and colored from the Green flat tube button.

  My problem:

  I have an actionscript layer that should work throughout the entire timeline but is not. Originally, I had a keyframe for the frame that contained the green buttons and the other which stretched the length of the entire timeline, containing all the code for the buttons. I put scrapped that and tried to combine code with what was to the keyframe of the work who controlled the green buttons on the homepage. I had used snippets of code first, but also tried to remove all that and just do it by hand, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

  I don't know what the problem is: the ActionScript? The buttons? Some random glitch? I would tend to think that it's something weird, I do with the script, but I wrote it how it seems to work on pages that work properly. And I do not think that it is just dark buttons because I also tried to do a button 'next' a clipart image, who also works hard.

  Any ideas? Suggestions? The assignment should soon and I am at a loss what to try next. I will be happy to clarify anything if something is confusing the way I said.

  Not exactly the same, but the buttons have a similar problem. When I first noticed this problem, I have hade three keyframes with actionscript, 1 which apply to the first image, the second applied to the second and the third image was script that applied to buttons for the rest of the document. With this in mind...

  OK my site on order on the timeline goes on and on: homepage, homepage (w / the green buttons), on (dark buttons) page, history page (dark buttons), etc. The buttons work on the on the page - I go to click on the green button on the home page, go to the about page and the home page (via the black button) no problem. If I say history page and try to get back to the homepage (via the black button) it will not work. If I'm going to the page of the homepage first, then go to the history, I could go back to the home page. It's really weird!

  I have now grouped the second and third frame of actionscript and not even a navigation of the on the page works, but I thought that the thing which I explained above looked like the problem of the other person so I wanted to mention.))

  You mentioned have code on different frameworks and how the framework and the back worked, but the story goes about page you could not go back.  Looks like your code was on the subject of chassis you skipped by going directly to the plot of the story.  If you ignored this framework you skipped assigning listeners to the buttons.

  An alternative approach to consider is to have all of your buttons from 1 chassis and control their visibility rather than assigning the code so that they work when you move around chronology

• Widget problem, need help!

  In my design, I have a bar of navigation at the top of the page which is fixed. I created another layer (under Layer 1) with texts and images and sent them to the rear of the layout, so that the navigation bar remains on the top of the page etc etc.

  Everything works fine it but I installed the widget "mouse over light effect hover" and I find that it only allows you to apply the effect to "State buttons" so what I'm doing is applying to a status button and then insert my image into the status button. It works and my photos zoom to move the mouse, but I lost the ability to retain images scroll below my navigation. I sent at the back in the option reorganize and still no luck!

  Please go to the page master/where the menu is inserted and create a new layer, drag the menu of this top layer. This should solve the problem, but even if the problem is even use different masters for menu widget and third parties and apply to the pages accordingly.

  If that's not enough, you must block the AddThis functionality with the addition of NoScript (AdBlockPlus, perhaps?).

  I got my Lenovo U410 a year ago (it will be a year of the end of October), and I loved it, since I got it but a anoyone else noticed how filmsy power button is? Very thin and sometimes a small corner of it will get stuck under the frame. I thought it was pretty normal and dealed with my own way, but then this morning it stopped me to start.

  I tried both with the AC adapter / in and out, held for 30 seconds and all the other methods, but it does not turn on. It was as if something had got stuck behind the key and it kept me from fully pressing down. I don't think my handeling and care is in the present case, given that I managed to keep a HP Pavilion DV2700 healthy since 2008.

  Is it a manufacturing error, design, or is my phone just a fluke? I really don't want this to happen.

  I realized what it was. It was a problem of physics with the computer. The key on the receiver under the button was worn out and had to be replaced. I don't know why he had used if fast (I had the laptop for just a little over a year). You'd pay a little more than half a grand for a laptop would make to the less lasting for two or three years.   Dear forum members, I decided that perhaps avoiding to use the power button I can record it breaks down again. for this I need 4 things: 1 lock screen widget, it is included on tpt, so it's ok 2. widget powered 3. unlock the screen with another button, for example. volume or any physical button 4.
