  I'm fairly certain there is no way around that. In html5 captivate puts the interaction in a separate folder. You may be able to modify the code here. I edited a bit of the code in order to eliminate the errors, and other formatting.

  I don't like the caption automatically generated by Captivate, but would like to leave it alone in case I need to change the caption in the future. I hide the layer, but in the file SWF published, the layer will still appear. I can't find a way to not publish a layer hidden in Flash. Is it possible to publish without the hidden layers?

  You don't mention your version? Normally in CP4: open the properties of the text caption, go the second tab 'Options' and disable 'Visible '.

• validation of a group of radio buttons

  Hello
  I have an exclusive raido button group contains "I agree" and "I disagree". By default, I do not accept should I get selected when the form is loaded and if the user clicks, I agree then that the shape must submit.

  I tried to script: writes the script on the commit event of the Group of radio buttons, but initially when the form loads, the validation is triggered because by default, I disagree is selected.

  Hi Eric,.

  We use a hidden button to submit the form. In the actual submit button, if satisfied of our condition of radiobutton we can call the click/mouseUp event of the hidden submit button.

  HiddenButton: Button type: submit. Specify the url of the site/mail you want to submit. Make it hidden / exclusion of the layout (at your convenience)

  Then in the actual submit button.

  If (AgreementRadioButton.value is "I oppose")

  {

  HiddenEmail.execEvent ("click");

  }

  on the other

  {

  App.Alert ("Please select I agree");

  }

  Note: The actual submit button would be simply a button with no bids.

  I am trying to create an interactive form in Indesign. When I create selection of different lines with the radio button options. When I export PDF all radio buttons respond to each all the different lines. Is it possible to group together them I'm not finding where only the keys for the turn on and off specific issue and not all the lines with different questions. They seem to be all connected. I'm sure I'm missing a setting or a way to isolate a group form another, but I can't understand it. Thank you.

  Hi all, it seems so simple, but I spent all the yesterday looking for an answer.  Part of the problem is that all the AIDS that I found are equally old versions of Captivate.

  I want to create a list of 10 questions true or false on the same blade.  It is important that they be on the same blade.  So, if I understand correctly, I can't use the regular quiz blade, but I need to use the radio button widget.  How can I mark these - exodus 7/10?  Work w / variables is really confusing to me.  Thanks for your help.

  Interaction of option buttons only has a SINGLE variable that can be attached! In addition, you will need to set this variable in project, Variables. I think you're actually trying to do something that you don't quite understand. I have written several posts on this interaction/widget. Take a look at the one I referred to the former position (on advice for widgets).

  I recommend first to try with fewer variables.

  1. Set the variables one project, Variables: v_one, v_two, v_three
  2. The interaction between radio buttons first and then type the name of the first variable v_one
  3. Do the same for the other two interactions of option buttons, associated with the v_two and v_three
  4. Write in the conditional, tip action
  5. Insert a button (may be a form button) to trigger advanced by action

  I have created a pdf form. I have a checkbox and radio buttons several. I put it so radio buttons are hidden until the user clicks on the checkbox above him. I also put the box reset option on mouse-to top buttons. However, radio buttons are always selectable.   I'm new to PDF forms and have never tried to use JavaScript. However, I have learned many things and I have followed several threads and almost accomplished what I want, but have hit a block. I don't understand the JavaScript well enough to find my problem. Your help is greatly appreciated.

  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Adobe Acrobat X Pro Mac OS 10.8.5

  WHAT I WANT: a form of several pages (100 pages) of grading of student assignments. Each page must have the same fields, but as each page belongs to a new student, he must have different values in the fields on different pages. Each page contains 4 questions to score, with possibilities of 4 points for each question (0, 1, 2, 3 points), and then only to 01:20 should be selected by the question.

  WHAT I HAVE BECAUSE, by following the instructions in this thread (Re: multiple-page form) ):

  (1) created a form with a field for the name of the student and 4 sets of radio buttons (labeled Questions 1 to 4, with choice of score 0-3).

  (2) placed a button at the bottom of the page that will generate a new page and rename fields.

  (3) set this page as a template.

  4) has created a page.

  (5) made the model "hidden."

  THE PROBLEM: Steps 1-4 above work perfectly - as long as the model (called 'Form') is visible, when I click the button, a new page generates and student name field renames fields to Page 2 for "P2. "Form.Student ID # ' and the boxes option and rename it 'P2 '. Form.Question 1 "etc. Whenever I press the button, it renames everything properly.

  However, if I hide the model, then when I click on the button on page 1, Page 2 fields are renamed "P1. Form.StudentID # 1. "AND THE RADIO BUTTONS DO NOT RENAME. They get the name "P1. Form.Question 1 "etc. So the student name field did rename in a way that allows me to enter a new name on every page, but is not actually reflecting that I am on page 2, and regarding radio buttons, at that time, I can't enter the different scores on different pages because they are all part of the same group radio button.

  If I use checkboxes, they rename similarly to the student ID field, but I don't want to use checkboxes because I want to back a possible score value for each question to have the data in the table. I don't want to not let the model visible because when I distribute this screen allows other workbooks, they can enter values in the page template without realizing it, and then when the forms of spawning, they hurt the data already entered.

  Here is the script that I put as the mouse to the top button script:

  OK, this could be really simple for a person to answer.

  I have an option button that I use to switch between two list boxes with multiple lines of text (so visible and hidden). Here's the problem, when I switch the radio back and forward button, I have two list boxes displaying their notes at the same time. I would like to have the option button display a messages both when you switch between them. Here is my script.

There is a 'don't allow no property selection', but this allows the "no selection". My problem is that when I run the vi, the option button is on and I would like that all of the buttons.

  I don't know anything about javascript and need help.  I have a photography contract I want to offer a "discount package" of $50 when the two services will be used.  1 service is 'Photography coverage' and Service 2 'Photo Booth Rental'.

  Text field 1 = subtotal (calculates the values of checkbox and radio button)

  Text field 2 = discount (it's where I need help.  I would like this automatically filled with $50 when my default two boxes are not selected.  But only when the TWO are not selected)

  Text field 3 = Total (which has a basic calculation of the Subtotal-Discount)

  The services of two by default (it's done on purpose, I checked from the beginning) are both set to the '0' values to keep the subtotal $ 0.  If the client will use a service (which means one of the default selections will be selected), then there will be no discount, but if they decide to use photography and the cabin, they save $50.

  Can someone please help me to write a script for the text field, Discount calculation, to accomplish what I ask?

  

  You can use something like what the calculation script custom field discount:

  Event.Value = (this.getField("Service1").value == 0 | this.getField("Service2").value == 0)? 0: 50;

  Simply adjust the field names in the code to match the real in your file.
