I know MS wants everyone to buy their new OS, but I can't afford it right now. In the meantime, I'm trying to add a computer to my existing peer-to-peer network. I have never had so much trouble. I can not get computers to eachother Duke on the network.

  Over the past 3 years I have implemented each of the existing computers. I'm familiar with the silly quirks of this operating system (i.e. a few hours waiting see if eventually the computers will warm up to each other and decide to play nice together). All computers are able to connect to the internet through the same router connection, and I was able to get each of the computers to see one another, but not all, but none of the computers is to see the new computer. (The new computer is connected to ONE of the other computers, but stopped doing and do again it). Is there a simple step by step to do this? I don't care even if I can't not all computers on the network as a whole, I would like to just the computer I replace to see the computer I replace by in order to obtain the transferred files and get back to work.

  I would like to get an external hard drive - the best of Seagate and Western Digital for about $100. I have a 320 GB Seagate and it's much more that I need. Can I save more than one computer at a time. It's basically a huge flash drive, and you can buy them both at the Wal-Mart or Target or Office Max, Office Depot, etc...

  This option is also better in the long run too - for data transfer in addition to save your documents in one place safe.

  If you feel this isn't for you, then you can move gradually using a flash drive (available at Wal-Mart, Target,...) or burn your data on CD and move it over that way.

  Do you mean on the tab bar? It might be the problem with McAfee SiteAdvisor. Could you take a look at these previous discussions and see if it looks like it:

  The first lock, the Lockscreen wallpaper is the same as the desktop wallpaper. After unlock the screen and close it, the Lockscreen wallpaper is the default wallpaper. The wallpaper is always the same.

• Conversion from seconds to a date in another language

  I am currently working on an application that uses web services to fill a web user interface.  One of the outputs is a time that is generated using the LabVIEW method 'get time in seconds'.  Do as this, I convert the value to double precision float and send it to the host (on request).  On the side of the host, I use Javascript to fill in a text box with the current measurement date and time.  To do this, I use the followign code

  When I do this, what I find is that the time is in fact a month off the coast.  I can fix this by changing the date of the creation of my "dateobj" on December 1, 1903.  Someone has seen this before, possibly in another language?  It is not beyond the realm of reason that I do something wrong, but I can't seem to get it right now that.

  OK... it is pretty lame, but proves to be a js problem and not a problem of LV.  Months are 0-based.  so... Jan is 0 js world.  Ugh... Detective Conan.  For those interested, here's an example:
