Disks run without problem, but they are relatively slow and old (max ~100MB/s WD; ~75MB/s Seagate). In addition, I'm really not comfortable running a raid interlaced offshore of different styles of hard drives. I am looking to buy four new disks. Here's my wish list: Minimum of 1 TB of capacity Optimized RAID Reliable Quiet Relatively fast Not horribly expensive Does anyone have advice? Hyperthreading gives me 24 logical processors. A lot of Photoshop uses all of the logical processors whenever possible. Which means that the system is available for your use as much more quickly.
