BWF batch conversion - workflow Bug of Media Encoder radio station problem

Hi all

I just thought that I'd share a problem I had, and it's more a question of workflow, even with the latest version of CC.

Hearing can open BWFs end RCS (Master Control switch/Linker, Zetta) software, which is great. I can then save the files in the form of lots in MP3 at 320 k etc.

The problem I encounter is a bad workflow. If I want to convert the files of 1500, I load files in 1500 at the hearing and then sit and wait until they are converted batch.

I thought that there must be a better way. So I decided to try the same thing in Media Encoder, but the program does not support BWF...

I find it a little strange.

In the next version, can you do Media encoding support the same file formats as the hearing?

Thank you

Steve

As you discovered Media Encoder from Adobe primarily majors on video encoding formats, but does not contain some of the professional audio codecs based unfortunately.

  • Questions of linear workflow with Media Encoder CC 2014

I use after effects CC 2014 and doesn't seem to be the option the most export through AE to H264. There was formerly a button in the preferences to allow obsolete codecs... not there more with CC 2014. Then... I added my renders in Media Encoder. The problem is that it does not calculate my project working in linear Workflow so all my renders are very dark and evil.

Someone at - he found a work around for this? is there a Media Encoder button that I need to put on for linear workflow?

I have usually make an intermediate file without loss of AE render queue and then use that file in Adobe Media Encoder.

    I did it for years.

I have never cared for After Effects h.264 encoder and was happy to see it go. I'd rather the AE team focus their limited resources on the program of work well and let the Media Encoder team working on the best way to code something.

  • Flash will not import the mp4 in Camtasia, requires an FLV; Media Encoder will not convert to FLV; H264 is not accepted either.

Flash will not accept the result of basic mp4 in Camtasia, it tells me to use Media Encoder to convert it to the FLV format.

Media Encoder convert F4V or FLV.

I used Media Encoder to convert H264, but Flash still will not import it.

Could someone please tell me the best export / convert / import options to get Camtasia video in Flash (as an embedded - video can't do streaming).

  • Adobe Media Encoder Cup video when layer effect of Ultra masking is applied

I work on a Mac (10.8.5) using the latest version of first Pro CC. I use the Ultra key to remove the bottom keys of saturation of the layer of "talent" and adding a new "background layer" behind the video layer of talent. When I export directly from first, the sequence of exports as expected. However, I have several sequences and wants to speed up the process using Adobe Media Encoder. When I export the same sequence using Adobe Media Encoder, half top of the layer of "talent" is completely cut off:

    Screen Shot 2014-02-03 at 3.21.33 PM.png

The question has something to do with the Ultra key effect because when I remove the effect of the layer of "talents" exports in tact (with a key background chroma, of course). Adobe Media Encoder CC is up-to-date are there the known bugs with Media Encoder CC and the Ultra masking effect in Premiere Pro?

    Thank you!

  • Premiere Pro CC 2014 and 2014 Media Encoder CC problem

    Hello

Whenever I'm ready to export my project my first Pro CC 2014 stop answer all together. I tried the short cut (command + M) or through the bar Manu. the result is the same, first Pro CC 2014 just freezes and does not respond to what it is until I force quit and relaunch allover again. I tried exporting from Premiere Pro auto, without using the Media Encoder, but the problem remains the same.

I use the new Mac Pro. I've heard talk of that adobe Premiere Pro has problems with the new Mac Pro. Is this true? Or another problem?

Thank you and looking forward to hear from you again,

  • Media Encoder conversion queue does not start

Hi - I've recently updated the Media Converter.  I'm trying to convert a batch of WAV files to MP3.  I uses the same process that I always used successfully before the update, but when I click on "start line" nothing happens. I get no error message, I tried pressing return instead of click on the arrow and I tried the file > start the queue. Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?  I have attached a screenshot below.  Thank you

If you are on Mac OS there is still one thing you can try, close the SOUL and then delete the folder

    / private/var/home /Documents/Adobe/Adobe\ Media\ encoder/10.0 and restart SOUL.

Please make a backup of this folder before you delete it in order to get a copy of this book.

  • Workflow trouble: switch to Media Encoder at the queue of Premiere Pro export

I have a collaborative project where I have to edit and share short sequences of a larger project. Therefore, I do a lot of export and transcoding on the fly.

My problem is that whenever I use Media | Export | Queue of Premiere Pro my Mac switches focus to Media Encoder. Since I have Media Encoder to transcode automatically I actually don't need to directly interact with it. I don't need to see. I just need to do his thing in the background so that I can continue working on my project.

No one knows how to stop the switch of focus to Media Encoder?

I know this isn't a bigger and a quick cmd + tab will switch me back, but still, it's annoying when I really just a background task.

  • Conversion of image sequence Cineon LOG in Apple ProRes 4444 XQ in Media Encoder CS6

    Hello

I have a sequence of images Cineon LOG I want to convert to Apple ProRes 4444 XQ, but I'm not sure of the procedure.

I use Adobe Media Encoder CS6 on a Macbook Pro OS 10.11.2 2012.

Could you please tell me how to on this subject?

Also, I find that I don't have the ProRes 4444 XQ Preset codec in Media Encoder... Can I download it somewhere?

    Thank you

    Tiya

The problem is resolved. Here's how:

I bought ' Glue Tools Cineon / DPX Toolkit for Mac OS X and used it with Apple Compressor 4 on my Macbook Pro (2012) running El Capitan.

I was able to convert Log Cineon sequences of images in ProRes 4444 XQ QuickTime movies.

    Some things to note:

    • After downloading the Toolkit, you must activate it from the system preferences panel and make sure that you select the correct Conversion settings in the Cineon / DPX icon (bottom of the system preferences panel).
    • Glue Tools also have a trial / demo for you to try Mode.
    • Currently, glue tools Cineon/DPX Toolkit (4.1.2936) supports only compressor 4, but can add features for the Media Encoder and other tools in the future.
    • Use "Import a file" compressor 4 and select the first file of the Cineon or DPX image sequence when you try to get the glue tools to read them. Do not use 'Import Image Sequence'.
    • Once you have written the ProRes 4444 XQ, you may still need to correct color, but Glue Tools has excellent support.

  • Export Source 24 Bit WAV as float 32 bits before the conversion in Adobe Media Encoder?

    Hello

I am exporting movies from After Effects as .avi and I was wondering what I need to do to preserve my audio is close to the source as possible. My audio file of the source is 24 - bit / 48K. I use Adobe Media Encoder to encode audio/video like YouTube Widescreen HD but since After Effects doesn't offer 24-bit export, should I export as a 32-bit float? And is that going to change my audio somehow before moving to Adobe Media Encoder?

I've read about it on some different forums, but am still not not clear about this...

    Thank you

    Henry

Sorry, but you've made a fundamental mistake - a non-standard rate.  That's a no-no.  A big.  You will have to use a standard frame rate and come up with another way to get things to work.  You'll foolin' with frame rates.

  • Flash Media Encoder .f4v file .avi after conversion more

This is my first time using Flash Media Encoder.

I converted a 168 MB. Video to AVI. F4V and the file that results is 302 MB.

    Is this normal?

What could I have done wrong?

I'm not familiar with the CamStudio compression settings, but it seems to me that AVI bitrate is lower than your rate target for new coding. If this is the case, it makes sense that the new file is bigger.

It would be better to start with a high quality AVI if possible. Do not forget that you are compress again when you transcode the file, so in order to maintain the quality of the source, you have no choice but to encode with very high throughput. If you start with a source of high quality, you can reduce the speed of transmission during the encoding of the flv/f4v

  • Premiere Pro Media Encoder link mysteriously stopped working

I have CS6 Master Collection on a Windows 7 x 64 Ultimate HP Z820, 32 GB of RAM, Quadro 4000 and have been using it for over a year. I use Premiere Pro and batch queue to Media Encoder for encoding. The last time I used this workflow for the batch was about 130 days ago, and it worked like a charm (as it should). A few weeks ago, I was on another project and tried lots once again, just like before, even using some of the same presets (on a timeline "nothin' fancy") and Pr would create a project file in the TEMP folder after I pressed the button of the queue, and the project appear in the queue of the SOUL SOUL would launch. I press start and wait a long time until that finally, in the encode Panel, I would see 'connection to Dynamic Link Server... ". "after several minutes, I'd get the goat and find an error"could not read the source file... ". "in the newspapers. After verifying that the source was there, I decided that it was really a matter of dynamic links.

Here's some more data points of things I've tried (also point to a problem of dynamic links).

    (1) exporting works (encoding) directly from Pr very well (so the SOUL without head works)

    (2) import a sequence Pr in the SOUL does not work either, I get an error from import Premiere Pro sequence dialog (after a long wait "connection to the server of hotlinks... ") that"the connection to the Server Dynamic Link failed".

I do not suspect it is a dynamic link question, but do not know why, or what has changed. I tried the solution 'create a new shortcut first in dynamiclink folder' found on the forums and Google but it didn't work. When I tried it first, I found two shortcuts already, a PR and Ae, but TWO of them made reference to a case of CS4! I've never owned CS4 and went of CS3 Master Collection CS6 Professional Design. I also suspect that this issue was caused by one of the Pr updates that have taken place in the last days 130 (since the last time, that I know this feature worked). I made no changes to my system during this period.

Kyle suggested it could be the firewall issue is blocking TCP traffic using dynamic links, but I do not use the Windows Firewall, and all that's happening on one machine, then there should be no TCP traffic on the network (unless he contacted Adobe?). I use Webroot Endpoint Protection, but have received no indication that something is suspicious or that he was blocked. Adobe engineers any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be willing to help with troubleshooting on my system, that I did with hearing in the past, but don't want to uninstall the suite and who again. This should be tracked down watching updates pushed CS6 inside the last 130 days. I think that there was two.

    Thank you

    Shane

I solved my problem thanks to the post of @gagneh on this forum. It turned out to be the NVidia nView Desktop Manager applet in the control panel. It has been activated, and I believe that it has been activated for a long time. I don't know if something in a recent update of broke things, but as soon as I disabled the Desktop Manager, my dynamic link started working again in all aspects. Give it a try. Good luck.

  • Media encode more than 7.0 does not recongnise SD images with the correct format of the pixels

    Hello

I logged this bug with Adobe last year, but even through the last versions else bug and is a real problem for everyone editing in SD via first Pro CC.

Effectvely when you create a PAL in sequence to breast of first Pro CC using SD 720 x 576 pixels (4:3) you have 2 options to export, the queue or export. If you export the images directly from the application of PP in MPEG2 SD, then the resulting files are perfect, however if you use the option queue and send to Media Encoder then the resulting files are misinterpreted and subsequently file looks like crushed. I suspect that the Media Encoder is defaulting to square pixels and not 1.09xx which is the default for PAL 4:3 SD

The issue only began on Media Encoder version 7.1 but I also checked 7.2 and it still has the bug.

I can't believe that's not making a lot of people and its takes so long to solve. Adobe at the time acknowledged the problem but did not provide a time scale to repair.

If anyone has the words of wisdom, I'd love to hear from you. Maybe I'm missing a simple workaround solution? That could be just export and NO queue, but because I use the batch function a lot is not always viable.

    Thank you

    Steve

And I already have a workaround for this one:

    1. open the preferences of SOUL

    2. turn off the power "import of the sequences in native mode.

I don't know yet why the native path is ruin, but this will get you fixed up without having to re - interpret each source file.

  • "Adobe Media Encoder release" suspended publishing

I am trying to publish some of the modules that have been developed by a vendor, and publish it stands on a dialog box indicating "launch Adobe Media Encoder. Generation of mp4. I'm trying to publish a bunch of Tin Can, not a flv. I'm not sure what it is, but I can't spent to publish the zip files. Any ideas?

If you try to publish for Tin, then you do not use the media, released for SWF/HTM or HTML5 only parameters.

As your Setup to HTML5, you're out, you must have some component/s in this project file that must be converted to MP4 video for HTML5.  You may have a few video demo recording sections.  This would explain why Captivate trying to open Adobe Media Encoder.

    • Do you have Adobe Media Encoder on your system?  If this isn't the case, you may download and install it.
    • If you do not already have a SOUL, this is the latest version?  Maybe there is a bug in your version.
    • In addition, if you do not have SOUL and this is the version currently installed with Cp7, then try to have SOUL already open at the time you need to do this video conversion.  Maybe he's stuck on the opening.
