By aligning an entire table in regards to the margins?

Hello. Is there a way to align a whole table with regard to the margins of the page? I created a table which is smaller in width than the width of my page margins, and I want to align so it is in the center of my page, but I can't find a way to do (or 'googleing' helped me). Can someone help me? Thank you very much.

A table is really just a paragraph to stand alone. Using the Center Align button in the paragraph Panel.

  • Updated scoreboard celled without redrawing the entire table

I have a program that uses a Table hint. Each line is a step program and in the same row, there is a countdown indicating the time remaining.

Update the remaining length of cell is easy enough to help replace the subset of table (is there a better way?) but whenever I do it looks like LabView redraws the entire table on the screen, and this causes the annoying flashing-flashing of text in the table.

I reduced the updates to 500mS and that "works", but there are still some flashes and 500mS reduces the precision of the synchronization.

Is it possible to update a single cell on a table hint without redrading the entire table?

    Tables, always teetering.

Try to drop a decoration above it, the value transparent border/fill. I remember that, with my field engineer, back in LV 8.5 and ending up in the incredibly annoying time discussing.

I think that not fair to say he'd be only even partially covering it to remove the flicker of screen refresh.

Edit - in fact, I * think * he has to cover even the label of the table to delete a part.

  • Title, title, line-Align multi-column Tables

File under: trouble Frame, with a little hacky work-around

In the format of two columns we work routinely, we often need a table that is on the scale of the column, but maybe take in several columns.

The problem is that the title suite (TableTitle, if used) and never align with the departure of position/title. That's because continuations are starting at the top of the column, while the table itself begins (default "Anywhere") under the anchor line (supposed to be 'in the column' for this discussion)...

OK, what happens if we change Table > start [Basic] table designer to:

    • Top of the column: Oops, which becomes the top of the Next column, leaving the anchor text column-widower (but it gave me an idea).
    • Top of the Page: Oops, who becomes top of the Next page, leaving the anchor text page-widowed.
    • Float: no effect

OK, what happens if we change the anchor text Format > paragraph > Format by Designer [paging] to:

    • [Paging] in all of the columns (AAC): Oops, table appears only in the left column on all pages, or;
    • Spacing between lines, including negative and space [base] values seems to have no effect. Using a tiny police only minimizes the problem and he's not healing.

I thought that I had found how to solve this problem at some point, but did not remember it. I'm writing this in part to seek a simpler solution. Web research has found only one candidate, solid solution, and it was, of course, 404. Perhaps chassis versions have at least the FM7/Win and FM7.1/Unix that I regularly use improvements to this address.

We normally just to work around the problem by using an AAC format and a table that spans the page, with a gutter of fake Center, simulating a stream of multiple column. In a recent case, I wanted a real wide single-column table of length variable (due to the conditional lines and expected future growth), but I wanted the items to align columns. The table raised on one page, which is a limitation of the next cut.

Hack: This example requires a text block and page 2-column normal which is 7.5 in wide with a gutter in 0.24 (3.63 in. columns) and a table do not require more than one page. It works for both the provisions 3 and 4 columns.

    1. Use an AAC anchored text frame line.
    2. Create a frame of width (7.5 in.) anchored full page (which may be low, the top of the pass, as you wish).
    3. Create a block of text inside the anchored frame. This framework is:
one more than your standard page (3-column for this example)
Same size gutter (0.24 in. for this example).
Initially pull the block of text to fit inside the frame anchored, so you can get it easily.
    4. Make sure that the default paragraph format (anchored table) of the first column is "in the column".
    5. Use graphics > properties of the object to set the text block inside:
The value of width: your total width of the text frame standard most 1 column and 1 gutter (11,37 in. for this example).

Set Offsets: from 0 to 0 (this will push the column at the right out of sight for the moment).
  • Insert your table as soon as the text table anchored inside the text frame.
  • In the table designer, the value Start: top of the column (this pushes the table beginning in column 2).
  • Select the internal text block again.
The value offset: left: negative column + a gutter (in-3,87 for this example).
  • Now, the table seems to start in the page one column and flows to the additional columns with the alignment of the position.
  • It worked perfectly for my recent requirement. In fact, I used a 3 columns (4 real) for the block of text inside the anchored frame. A bit of math is required, sorry .

    > ... a table and column that spans more than one column...

    > Not quite--I have a table of unique, equal or less than a wide column column,
    > flowing (continuous) in several columns.

That's what I meant... but misspelled "covers" instead of "flow".  Oops... I just noticed a mistake. To the step #2, I said give a table a value space above 12.0 pt. There should be a negative space above (pt-12,00).

Above is an example of a view of what I get.

  • Alignment of data table in DW CS4 problem

    Hello

I have created a website in the DW CS4. I'm trying to align my table I created for my contact form. I got it as I want with the exception of a slight problem: my "submit" button is not lining up with the rest of the form elements. I don't know how to add my HTML here. If you guys can tell me I'll add it. Thank you very much!

    FOR INFO:

I thought that if I add < td align = "right" > and then alternate the next with < td align = "left" > element and returns it in the < tr > tag that would position the elements slightly to the right of left justified.

  • Right align page numbers which is found to the left of the table of contents entries

I posted a similar question a while ago I think that substances or Peter replied, but darn if I can find the thread. At that time, they provided a script that does a GREP search, find a sentence that starts with a number and its replacement by a tab. I still have the script, but for some reason, it does not properly with my new table of contents page layout. It must insert a tab on the left page number (page numbers are to the left table of contents entries) and force the numbers right aligned so that a single-digit right page number aligns with the right edge of a two-digit page number.

    Find: ^ (\d+)
    Change to the: \t$1

What is happening in the new table of contents, this is the script is a figure and inserts a tab to the left of the page number. Page numbers are moving to the right, but they do not align right. They are further to the right, but they themselves numbers correspond to the left.

I'm puzzled as to why the script does not work on this new layout. Now I use CS4 and it still works on the former route. Nothing terribly different about the new layout except that the column is much closer, and there are several columns threaded in the TOC instead of a long column and the chapter titles do not have page numbers (but all other entries have page numbers.)

We should probably set the tabulator in your paragraph style: a tab aligned right for the numbers, followed by a tab stop that is aligned to the left to the text that follows this number. (I guess that there is a tab after the number.)

  • SQL profile will be lost after we recreate entire table?

    Hello

Although I have not tested, but I think that there will be no impact on the profiles and it will stay there.
Because unlike objects, a profile in SQL Statistics is mapped to an application, not an object or objects.
You can see the SQL Profiler created in the view of the DBA_SQL_PROFILES dictionary. The SQL_TEXT column indicates the statement SQL profile has been attributed to; the STATUS column indicates whether the profile is enabled

    Wes,

in fact when I reproduce with 11.1.1.6 then change value event is created for the event popup I create for a text entry field in a table. I guess you always focus on the table when you create the popup event. Check the Lady of PageDef. If you see the event under the binding of the tree, then I'm right.

  • Addition of constraint without checking on the entire table

    Oracle 11.0.1.7:

I'm trying under DDL. This table contains rows of 100 M and adding constraints takes a long time. Is it possible to add the constraint without checking for every former or current lines? Since I add new column and activation of constraint on this subject, I know that I can safely ignore the previous lines and search for violations. I just want to allow this control for new lines. How can I add such that it ends in no time.

  • Center aligning images in table using the XML file

    Hello
I use a flash file that uses an xml file to download a series of images one by one in a photo-gate.
There are two different widths of images. The height is always the same. Is it possible to set up so that each image that calls file xml is center aligned as part of image.
At the present time when using the xml file to load the image she always left aligns the image when he brings it in image even if you change the alignment to center align in the Panel align.
Does anyone have a suggestion why this happens or how to fix it?
    Thanks for the help

I did this quickly and did not test - but if it does not directly at the exit it might give you a starting point - or someone else can correct if there are errors. I'll check tomorrow - where I am its time to go to sleep...
CHANGE the DETAILS: Just changed a few pieces of code I posted last night - I forgot to change the statement holder_mc.loadMovie in xml.onLoad Manager. I have not tested, but its along the lines of the approach I would use to solve your problem with resizing the image. Let me know how you go with it.

  • Convert a table 1 d of the Cluster (time + data) in 2D-table time and data. How?

    Hello

is there a simple way to convert a large table 1 d of the Cluster (containing a timestamp and a given) in a table 2D with time stamp and data?

I could index the table in a while loop, separate each item and put the timestamps and the data in a new table.

The format of the new table could be an array of double (then the timestamp must be converted to a double) or an array of strings.

Could I do this without a loop?

    Johannes

    LabVIEW 7.1 (!)

    Hi Johannes,

If it is possible to manage your time as dbl-floats stamps, I suggest using a simple loop and the cluster to function array (Cluster_to_Array_Mod1.vi).

If you want to stay with time stamp data type, even once use a loop for a cluster unbundle and build the function array (cluster_to_array_Mod2.vi).

You need to carefully examine the description of the PREPROCESSOR option in the chapter of the manual external Tables utility.

The first point that applies to your question is that the preprocessor must write its data transformed to stdout. To do this with gunzip, you use the - c command line parameter. The second point that applies to your case, in view of the answer to the first point, is that you must write a script shell if your preprocessor requires command line settings.

  • Obligation to fill the values in table advanced according to the selection of a value in another article of lov (not in the advanced table)

    Hi all

We work in a custom oaf page subdivision. We have an obligation to fill the values in table advanced based on a value selection in an element of the lov (this LOV is not in the advanced table) .can share you it please me steps or examples of code to achieve this. Waiting for response.

    Kind regards

I do not understand completely still. What do you mean by "default in the table values must be inserted".

You can create a dummy VO with the same columns and fix the VO in the advanced table.

In the normal scenario, when the user clicks on submit button, browse this VO, and copy the values to the validation according to VO and appeal EO. If values gets inserted into the database.

When the user selects the number of PO, simply run the other VO and fill this dummy VO so that values are available in the advanced table. When you click on send, do not copy these values to the EO based VO, so these lines won't get inserted.

    It work?

    See you soon

Data in both environments are almost equal. Let me know if you have any necessary clarification from my side.

    J_DBA

    Hi Nikolai,

Thanks for your help. I was just checking my old posts and saw that it is not closed. This problem has been resolved.

Table plan was not causing the problem, it was happening because of a JOB that used to run obsolete statistics sometimes together work finished Prod. Who the hell a lot of insertions/deletions. And once again made the stale stat for 2 tables in this application (tables 8 and 9 was in total).  That was causing the problem. and explain the plan is different in the two aspects, where these two paintings have been obtained.

When this was addressed, it has solved the problem and Yes sql profile has also helped in this case.
